The last time we went at 2pm on a Thursday during a heat wave in the summer. It was not busy. we had been out running errands and stopped in for a quick beer and appetizer. Wait staff is always so nice and it was exactly what we needed. They have something for everyone and the food always is fresh and doesn't seem frozen or processed. Definitely one of our go to spots on the west side

The main dining room can get very loud on busy nights so I appreciated the more closed off space for a large dinner event. The caveat being we received spotty service - for example, water pitchers were set in the corner and you had to get up to pour your own water. At minimum, it would've been better to just leave pitchers on the table directly for faster access. Food was hit or miss. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance. I'd come back again to give it another try because the menu rotates enough where I'm sure I'll land on some better food options next time.

We ordered cheeseballs; they come with fries. You actually get more fries than curds, but they were yummy. The ranch dressing is *chefs kiss*. I'm a huge ranch snob and this place might have the best ranch I've ever had. I wanted to drink that shizzle. It's a nice place and was pretty busy, but we enjoyed our couple hours we spent there. We'll be back to Green Bay some day and may just have to stop in again! Thanks for a great experience, from Nebraska.

Service was quick and efficient, drink and food orders came quickly. The restaurant itself was large and open but any nautical theme did seem apparent even though it sits next to the river. Everyone seemed satisfied with their food. I had the whiskey bbq burger. Burgers were served well done unless you requested otherwise. I ordered mine medium rare and it was served that way. The burger was good but be advised the bbq sauce is very sweet. It was served with fries or chips with salsa. I chose the chips and salsa which were fine but nothing special. My bill for the meal and soda came to $19.25 without tax or tip. I would recommend this place if you're in Green Bay and looking for a nice place to eat with decent food.

Yelp brought us here for lunch on a Saturday in mid-October. In town for the Packers/Texans game,…read morethis lunch shack was a few miles from our hotel and after reading the reviews, we took a chance on checking this out. Fortunately we were rewarded with a pleasant experience that was light on the wallet (for 2020s standards) and made us fans. Don't be fooled by the exterior/interior as it may give a cabin-like feeling when you're around. The staff are diligent in making the tables clear while getting orders ready. They only had two people working who both were doing the cooking, phone orders, in-person orders, and cleaning/bussing. Talk about a do-it-all crew. Now for the eats. I ordered a bowl of booyah and some cheese curds while pops had a plain burger. My first time having booyah, it reminds me of brunswick stew; tons of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, beans, in a thick tomato broth. Tons of flavor and quite filling, there's a reason why they sell quarts of this for tailgating and the cold stay-at-home days. I would dip my cheese curds in here which were also tasty. Right fried texture with a good cheese pull, dip it in the booyah for some of that salty consistency. Talk about a food-cheat code! My pops burger was cooked a perfect medium-rare and for only $6, was quite a bargain. This will be on the rotation whenever I'm in Green Bay for the Booyah and to try other items like their poutine and fried cod dinners. Booyahkasha!
