My salad was okay, but the typical bar fare (cheese curds, brats, pizza, etc.) were all good. The Wisconsin Jambalaya, Tailgater Pizza and Hot Honey Cheese Curds were all really delicious. Excellent service and great pizza!! This place is huge! Lots of high tops, booths, and plenty of bar area to accommodate the many GB Packer fans that come here for tailgating during the NFL season. Lambeau Field is only a block away, and we were told by our friendly waitress that this place can get really busy at times. We ordered their "Tailgater"pizza. It consisted of sliced bratwurst, fresh Wisconsin cheese curds, whiskey caramelized onions, mozzarella, and fire roasted pizza sauce. It was incredibly delicious! I definitely recommend it! For my drink, I selected "Johnny Blood Red", an Irish style red ale made by Titletown Brewing Co., Green Bay, Wi. (5.2% ABV). Sadly, it was not on draft but came in a can. However our server brought along a nice draft glass and that issue was resolved. It was very good and refreshing. Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty empty. What I noticed most about this place was they sell themselves as a distillery.. no. It's a sports bar and event space with a few spirits (mostly all flavored vodka). They're not a distillery - they're a bar and grill that happens to also make flavored vodkas. Stop selling yourself as a distillery. If you want to see a distillery, go to Great Lakes Distillery in Milwaukee where they make at least ten different spirits, and offer a tour of their facility as well as samples. For a place that has been a distillery since 2011, GBD hasn't really expanded much. I don't get it. We left after one drink, scratching our heads. read more

This place was bizarre. We stopped in on a Friday night when staying at a hotel nearby. We really couldn't even tell if it was a distillery versus just a bar. We got there a little after it had been fairly busy. It had definitely slowed down while we were there but they were apparently still catching up. At one point, the bartender came by and said she was embarrassed by how messy the bar was when we got there, mentioning how busy it had been, but did nothing to try to clean it up. I ordered a beer and C ordered a cosmo. The cosmo was pre-made and basically undrinkable. The fact it was labeled a distillery, you would have thought it was going to be a good, handcrafted cocktail, not a cosmo from a can. The pour was heavy, which I appreciated. The place is quite large. I imagine it get pretty busy during football season. It was pretty dead for a Saturday night. The bartender was nice. This place is so amazing! It's very big inside would think it would be great to throw a party. They have soups of the season right now it was a Cowboy soup. I would recommend the tater tots over the French fries I love the tots were super crispy and had a great crunch. The bread for the fish was cold but it's typical thing for fish & chips which I just learned today. the waitress was very attentive and everything came out super fast. Amazing service, selection and atmosphere. Daily drink specials helped us determine what day we wanted to have dinner there. Greeted by bartender immediately and served cold glass of beer. Super friendly customers created a great feel about eating here. I had the steak/bacon Mac n cheese which was the best flavor and had the best side of toasted bread. Portion size was perfect to eat and not leaving you feel stuffed. Husband had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and said one of his top 5 best pulled pork sandwich. He even was asked by other patrons their thoughts. He said the best and the pretzel bun made it complete. Again perfect portion to feel full but not uncomfortable full. We also are the pretzel cheese curds. I loved them, he could pass, but I'll admit he likes freshly breaded ones, but I highly recommend them. Manager or owner came out and checked with everyone in restaurant how everything was. He then talked to us about packer game days and radio hosts they do in the side room. Whoa reviews are all over the road for this one. I didn't sit in the dining area but in the banquet room. There is a decent, (but could be better), selection of tap beers and they mix a strong drink. I heard no complaints during or after our affair. There was plenty of staff and even though the bar was rushed with thirsty alumni the staff kept up the rush and maintained a smile. The food served family style, (which has to be a rarity now), was outstanding and not because we had enough to drink before to accept anything. This review is based off of the food I had during a wedding I attended. I am an out-of-towner and was here for a friends wedding. I ordered the beef tips, which came with mashed potatoes as well. These were the best beef tips I have ever had in my life. They were so tender and the sauce was amazing. I am unsure if this is on their regular menu, but if it is do not hesitate order them!! No. Just no. The choice words that I would like to use to describe this restaurant aren't Yelp appropriate, but you can bet your bottom dollar I used them while at Green Bay Distillery. Food - Awful. Just absolutely disgusting. I included a photo of the burger my husband received. It was supposed to be a cheese curd burger with a turkey patty...I couldn't begin to tell you what we actually got. It was unidentifiable. No person should be forced to ingest this. The check breast on my grilled chicken sandwich as the size of a chicken tender and was overcooked. And to top it off, the bloody mary's were absolutely flavorless! Service - Our waitress was a trainwreck. She got my husband's order wrong, never came back to check on us, refill a drink, etc. She then came with the bill which has 4 extra drinks on it! What the heck?! And to top it off, when my husband switched his meal to chicken tenders due to said disgusting burger, she acted like she did us a favor for not charging us for it. She did charge us for the chicken tenders though, but was so proud of herself for getting the burger comped...yeah thanks lady. I've never had a bad experience at GBD. During my most recent lunch, we ordered the "Green Bay's Largest Pretzel" which is literally HUGE! With 4 of us eating it, we still had leftovers. It comes with cheese sauce, Dijon mustard, and cinnamon butter. Really good! What I love the most is the "Honey Bourbon Bacon Burger". It has tons of caramelized onions, really good bacon, and is served on a pretzel bun. Soooooo freaking good!!!!! The fries are seasoned and you get a good portion of them. We went here for the taping of Inside the Huddle. For something that happens there every week, they are pretty disorganized. We got there super early (around 2, show doesn't start until 5:30) and there was one waitress working who said she would put us on her list. Sounded good to me! We sat at the bar and one person started to help us until the bartender got there. The bartender was nice enough, but had zero clue what was going on. People started lining up to get their name on the list and the bartender said we needed to do that even though the waitress said we didn't. It was very confusing. The waitress came over and told us we could go get our tickets from the guy who was signing people up. Finally at 4:30 we were able to go in, only to find out people that showed up after us got a table in front and we were in the back. Didn't make any sense.
