They asked me who I was here for and I said Autumn. They then called her and told me she just woke up. 5 minutes later I get a text from her saying she just woke up and she can be in at 12pm. I said ok I'll be back at 12. I come back at 12 and she still isn't there so I wait and 30 minutes go by and I get an on my way text from her. A 6 hour tattoo done in 45 minutes what this man charged me $500 for where every single line was jagged, crooked, and lobsided. He contradicted himself, lied, and went in circles when I confronted him about it through an Instagram dm, tried to charge me an extra $150 to shade it in when I went back in once the swelling went down and started to actually see what he did. Then told me I was threatening him when I said I would post photos on google and yelp reviews, but if you think I'm wrong and you did a magnificent job why is posting a review a threat? But baybeee listen that $500 is coo because guess what I will be in that galleria everyday from the time they open until they close standing with photos of the tattoo close up and photos from the conversation we held on Instagram for proof to warn people going in there. He go need that $500 because I can bet your last dime that I will be in that btch everyday showing people pictures of this tattoo he did and letting potential new tattoo customers of his know the scammer he is! The mountains took about an hour and a half and the rips/flowers took about 3 hours. I am sure I'm not the only one who thinks it might be a little awkward to sit there with a new tattoo artist, thinking what are you going to talk about, are they going to be cool, etc. All that went away as soon as I met Kenny. I was referred to him by a good friend. He's always very professional, really down to earth and he's a great designer. I came to him with a concept and he beautifully executed the vision I had in my head. With the mountains, I just wanted an image of something that already existed...fort the flowers only had the image in my head to go off of and Kenny hadn't done many "rip" tattoos, but I couldn't be more happy with how it came out. I am obsessed every time I see it. As long as he's an artist I will continue to come to him.

He said he didn't know, which was perfectly fine, but the way he responded afterward left me wondering if he was being sarcastic or mocking me. It felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly made me hesitant to return. These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. Still, that first impression was annoying enough that I've never looked back since. If you decide to visit, I recommend coming with a friend, especially if it's your first time. Big Bear tattoo was already pretty highly rated, and they accepted walk ins. So I popped in early afternoon and met Jareth, who did an outstanding job. Super polite, really eager to do the art, and was genuinely interested in what I was having done (it's a mathematical equation, basically). Zero issues, pain free and it looks great. If I can figure out how to add a photo I will. Really great experience, especially for my first time getting ink done. Very excited to return!
