This barber is terrific. I previously went to a different barbershop in Tucson and it had a tv playing rather loudly that had a gruesome program on. Very accommodating location as I was about 25 minutes late for my appointment (trying to find parking). They took me right away, first with the pedicure. Fantastic job!!! Then the haircut. The barber shop is smaller than my room but it's not about the size or how it looks or what they dress like!!! All that matters is how well the barbers cut your hair. Think about it...the bigger the shop, the fancier the shop, the more you have to pay!!! Duh!!! At the end of the day, a $16 dollar haircut is better than a $30 dollar haircut you pay at a fancy shmancy place. Andy the barber is the best!!! That dude is down to earth...he's real mellow,chill and professional. Only improvement is the appt. times need to be a bit more accurate. Other than that both dude there are very good!!! Had 3 people waiting which were walk ins and I had an appt. so he took me. For being on 4th st I can only imagine his rent on this place and he only charges $16 for general cuts. He has a passion for his profession and he's definitely an artist at his craft! These guys give great haircuts but their customer service is extraordinarily poor, even by by barber shop standards. I was a walk-in and expected to wait but the barber didn't have the common courtesy to greet me and had to take a whole minute to tell me I'd have to wait 30 minutes to get a cut. He could barely even make eye contact during the interaction. The guy with the hat has been friendly before but seems incapable when his colleague is around. (Explain that dynamic.) Anyway, II'll never go to this joint again as the common respect is severely lacking. Also, the Star Wars decor is tacky as hell. read more

The place is always crowded and even when I get there right when it opens the barbers aren't there till 30mins later. If you are waiting in line and the barbers friends come in that's an extra wait for you because they always have an "appointment". The customer service is by far the worst. These guys are really skilled at cutting hair, but their prices keep going up and their customer service keeps going down. They open at 10am and I arrived at 9:55. No employee bothered to show up until 10:25. I walk in after the guy gets there and he tells me that he has an appointment. I ask him how to schedule an appointment because I have called before and asked about appointments and have always been told they don't do appointments. He doesn't really answer and says that they are extra. I really loved this place but I'm gotta go elsewhere. Too many hoops to jump through and too much time wasted. read more
