I first met Damian at a concert through a mutual friend. At the time I was in the middle of production on a short film project and had just fired the cinematographer for misallocation of funds. I had some footage that had already been shot and a couple more scenes to film within the week but nobody to film it. After speaking with Damian at length (the day after the concert) regarding what had been done and what was needed; I was lucky enough to find Damian was available. He jumped on to rescue the production with his own crew and lighting equipment. He was a total professional and joy to work with. Damian really dedicated himself to a project that he came in on half way to help save. Later on I filmed a second short film project and had Damian help with the whole thing from conception and planning stages to finding an editor. Although I've been told Damian also edits we both agreed that we should outsource for that. He was great at advising me on certain things I had failed to consider. Again he brought his own crew and lighting. He brought multiple cameras and a drone. The second project was pretty complex but he was really dedicated and helped to get great shots bringing a complicated story board to life. Damian was flexible with set backs in timing and actor dilemmas. Always using down time to get B Roll or whatever else he could do to make the most of time between shots; acting as co director. Always a professional when it came to my production needs. I would highly recommend Damian and 4th Street Productions for whatever your video project is. As the Communications Specialist for the City of Signal Hill CA, I was assigned the task of managing the filming our inaugural mayor's "State of the City" event. After interviewing capable film companies, I decided to hire 4th Street Productions. Along with an incredible portfolio and thorough business experience, 4th Street brought creativity, dedication, professionalism, and filming expertise to this project. Most important though, 4th Street brought with them a team atmosphere, in which I was easily able to communicate my ideas and creative concepts. The luncheon was attended by over 75 people and had a running time of 90 minutes. The team provided multi-camera views and drone footage of the entire event which gave our video a very professional look and feel. Along with the filming and editing of the main event, two other small videos were created as well. The first video was a 2-minute mayor's highlight reel which showed off our city's great destinations, views, events, and staff. The second video was a quick 60-second social media overview of the entire event. This was used to point viewers towards our YouTube channel in which the full-length video was shown. The event went off without a hitch and the three videos produced were a complete hit with the Mayor, City Council, staff, and viewers. And the cherry on the top? Our project in came in on-time and within budget! I was in search throughout California looking for a videographer, edit and sound company...I called at least 15 companies leaving messages or emails and the only live call back I received was from Damian (co- owner of 4th Street). I needed to interview two individuals from Washington DC that were on holiday for a few days in Catalina with my deadline closing in a few days.
