I've ended up bringing my grandmother's needlepoint pillow that had missing stitches, two family quilts *loved* to death by generations, and an antique beaded purse that I found at a yard sale and needed a lot of help. I plan on giving the purse to my daughter to hopefully start a new family tradition. All were cleaned (they have a woman who cleans fragile antique textiles specially) and then beautifully repaired and restored. I'll also add that they have excellent customer service and I have no doubt that if any issues did arise that they would handle it in a way that ensures the customer is satisfied. The only bad thing is that they don't have a credit card machine, so don't forget to bring cash or a check. This isn't a big deal for me and would rather bring cash than bring my clothes somewhere where they'll get messed up.
