My family and I visited the store to try on a rental that we had already arranged for an event on September 4. My brother-in-law was trying on the rental, and I was also planning to purchase a shirt while we were there. At approximately 8:57 PM, an employee named Khamoni appeared visibly upset that we were still in the store. Instead of assisting us or allowing us to finish comfortably, he was focused on cleaning and had the vacuum plugged in. He made facial expressions, shook his head, and gestured "no," making it very clear that he was unhappy with our presence because it was close to closing time. I understand that we arrived near closing time and that employees have responsibilities at the end of their shift. However, we were customers with an existing rental for an important event, and I believe we still deserved to be treated respectfully and professionally while the store was open. The employee's attitude made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was prepared to purchase a shirt that evening, but because of the way we were treated, I decided not to make the purchase. I am a customer who expects basic courtesy and professionalism, especially from a company such as Men's Wearhouse. I would appreciate it if management could review this situation and address the employee's behavior so that other customers do not have a similar experience. Not only did he admit that he used the wrong cleaner, but he also severely damaged the boot by completely red it a different color and staining the white stitching and made it red. So then they re-ordered my boots and had it shipped to the store again. Just went to go pick them up and both boots were damaged. One had marker on it and the other had sticky residue all over it. Absolutely ridiculous. They ordered me a third pair that is supposedly coming strictly from the warehouse to the store so we'll see how that goes.

Robynn and i have deleberately avoided participating in any black friday shopping for all the reasons we're all so familiar with. But my wife has recently become a "backpacker" and I wanted to get her fitted for a legitimate backpack so we made an exception to our black friday rule and went to the only place I would go to locally backpacking and other outdoor gear, River Rock Outfitter Even though the shop was filled with customers, Keith and April, the owners, immediately greeted us. When April finished with her customer she began the process for fitting my with a backpack. This process which included measuring her torso, what type of backpacking it was for day hikes or multiple day/night trips, types of weather, trying on multiple packs (with weigjts in the pack) took approximately 40 minutes, maybe more, but it was such a pleasant experience, it only seemed like minutes. My wife and April found the perfect pack but since it was not in the color my wife wanted, April placed in on order. We'll return in a day or two, try it on again and walk out with an early Christmas present for my wife we will now be able to share and enjoy many more years of backpacking together with a comfortable backpack.
