The course was ok, my beef would be with all the reviewers. People telling you it only took them 2-3 hours are flat out lying. I'm a fairly fast reader and it took me 5 1/2 hours including the final test. And you cant just skim it. Some of the questions are easy, some test whether you actually read the material or not. It is open book, but that doesn't help at times. I gave it my all and only scored an 85% after getting 100% on the 4 quizzes. The course is long. A LOT of reading, and the final is not so easy. In short, the course is good, website worked perfectly, but youre going to read your ass off. It certainly wasn't fun read more

Everything was exactly as they advertised! I only had to pay 5 dollars for the course and all of the exams were open book. You can speed through this relatively quickly. Just make sure to read the questions carefully. All of the questions were pretty easy too as long as you used common sense. There's 4 or 5 sections with quiz checkpoints that you must complete to move on. There's a final exam as well that you need to complete before they send out your results. You can log in and out and the site will save your progress so you're not redoing work. They also have security question check points randomly placed so make sure to write down the questions you answered in the beginning. You must also complete the evaluation form at the end in order to fully receive credit. Once you've passed, they automatically submit your test to the DMV. A hassle free experience! read more

When I received insurance renewal papers, I found that our insurance premium went up by 30%. When I called to find ways to reduce the premium, the insurance agent advised us to take a defensive driving course to reduce premium a bit. The agent also specifically mentioned taking the course from the "5 Dollar Traffic School" because any approved course counts the same towards DMV and insurance premiums. So, I signed up for their online course and completed it. Their course is included in the list of approved online courses on the NJDMV webpage. The experience of taking the course was quite good. Things ran smoothly without any technical problems. The material was helpful and should help me to drive more defensively. And of course, our insurance premium will go down a bit. She has been there for over a year now. The staff are all wonderful and I know they really care for my children, which makes it a lot easier to leave them in their care. My children love going, have learned so much and are always happy to be there. They offer lots of great activities and also do thoughtful things for the parents as well. I also think the price is pretty good for the amazing service.
