Because It would be my third time after having bad experiences from previous exam preparations with another driving school that lots of people suggested the school to me. I don't have a car, and friends who have a car that I can practice with. I also had exam anxiety, because I failed twice before I met Westwood Driving School. Since from the beginning, everyone who works for Westwood Driving School is a friendly and professional attitude. When I explained my bad experiences about another driving school and with my friends' car, I talked to Laura on the phone, and she listened to me with patience and helped me to book for a lesson with Eduardo. After the lesson, Eduardo explained my mistakes on the paper, also on the road. He was calm and explained every detail for safe driving with great tips very well. I'll always remember those tips while I drive. I also had a lesson from Manny. He was also professional, calm and funny. Thank you to all at Westwood Driving School; you are all my angels and stars. On the morning of, Marcos arrived in a car with clear decals and I appreciated that! It lets people on the road know a student is behind the wheel and to take care hah! During the lesson, Marcos made me felt safe and that I was taken care of and at the same time, was teaching me things I was doing wrong and where I needed to improve. Remarks were made in real time and also in a final assessment email, which I believe is very valuable as an older student behind the wheel for the first time. Marcos was very patient with me but was firm when needed. Naturally, I made repeated mistakes. As a student, my perception of the road around me wasn't vast but with Marcos next to me, it was reassuring to know he had my back (he was definitely looking out for me and the safety of those around me) and this is a valuable asset to have when learning because I was still grasping trying to pick up all the things I should be aware of behind the wheel.
