I think this girl is new but regardless, does that look ombré to you? It looks like a kid's snowman painting to me. I wish I had a before picture of the length and shape of my healthy natural nail, she went too short and messed up my shape and I'm just so disappointed I wish I had never had them done at all.

I have to tell you that this place deserves more than five stars from my experience. I came in only looking for a pedicure but ended up walking out with with more than that. I got in the chair to get my pedicure I ended up getting the rock spa package I think it was $40 and it was absolutely wonderful but as I was getting my pedicure done I was explaining to her that I was going to a wedding and then I felt very self-confident about the way my fingernails looked and she told me that she could give me a natural nail without being to over dressed so I trusted her and I went with it. So after the pedicure I sat down in a chair and got to work it's been years since I got a set of nails with gel and I have never been so in love with getting my nails done before but this place showed me what I was missing! If I could give them a 6 stars I would I walked out in Happy tears!

I just moved in the area and I was searching for a new Nail Spa that would provide a friendly environment, not rush services, high customer service satisfaction and quality results. THIS IS MY NEW SPOT! 10/10 would recommend. I walked in at opening without an appointment and Emily assisted me right away. Kevin proceeded to wrap my nails to help my technician while I waited. Yeni custom mixed a dip powder for me and killed the shaping! Very team orient environment and everyone is engaging. They also have tv and music playing during your services and cleanliness.

I hate leaving one star reviews. I waited several weeks to see if my feelings would change. They have not. I made an appointment here out of pure desperation. (I cannot stand these assembly line type nail salons.) It was a Sunday. I hadn't been able to get in to my regular nail tech because of scheduling conflicts, travel, etc. So, it's on me. I did research and am shocked by the glowing reviews of this business. There were no warm fuzzies. No "welcome" or smiles. I don't even know the tech's name. She was clearly disinterested in doing her job; giving me a pedicure. She cut me at least three times. She did apply a green gel to stop the bleeding/antibiotic?? I'm no wimp, but she hurt me bad when she pulled an ingrown nail out (?). It was sore and swollen for several days after. Another tech was giving a manicure a few feet away. She was clearly sick. Coughing and snotting all over the place. Making a big deal about taking meds and washing her hands and then blowing her nose repeatedly but not washing her hands again. I just held my breath, but if that girl was working on me I would have walked right out the door. This was an absolutely miserable and neglectful experience. I paid my bill to the inhospitable man of the salon. I even tipped 20%. Why? I don't know. Not so much as a "thank you", or "have a nice day". I will never be back.

After arriving in the area, I needed a mani and pedi. I researched Yelp and decided on this salon. It took me 20-25 minutes travel time and upon arrival, I questioned why I picked this salon. Actually, I think my granddaughter picked this one for me. The reviews weren't bad and upon entering the salon, it looked inviting and cheery. My tech was randomly selected online when I made the appointment. During the pedicure, I told myself that she was roughing me up! She hurt me twice but thankfully did not draw blood. I did the regular pedicure with a gel manicure. I'm glad I waited to write my review because the gel manicure didn't last 7 days. I am known to be a bit hard on my hands and nails but this was unacceptable, especially considering the price paid for the service. I am used to better standards at home with my gel manicures.

I love this place! Everyone is friendly. Lisa always gets me together! I never leave not satisfied!

In the end, my nails turned out great, but I wouldn't consider my visit here a relaxing experience tbh. The online booking system seemed simple, but it requires you to choose a nail tech for your appt. I went off Yelp reviews and chose Emily. When I got there, I let them know about my appt and nobody checked who it was booked with, and I ended up with a male tech that I don't think was named Emily. I looked through the color options that were at the table and picked one, but it turned out those weren't even the options they had. There was another ring of colors elsewhere and I couldn't even look through them because at that point I was soaking my nails in the acetone. I panic chose a lavender color and I actually like it so that worked out fine. The nail tech doing my nails was doing a million things at the same time--answering phones, scrambling around to find tools, helping other people, etc. He honestly wasn't too gentle with some of the filing tools either and my cuticles are pretty sore. At one point he told me I need to "stop shaking my whole body so much" (sorry but that's caffeine and anxiety). I think nail techs should be able to handle shaky hands with grace because there are many people with medical issues/anxiety/etc. that cannot help it. He kinda left my hand a mess too with some of the top coat. I'll probably give this place another chance because I have heard good things and I do genuinely like how they turned out--maybe it was an off day. But I do think I'm still on the hunt for my new nail place in Tampa.

Came for the first time with my sister and mom for last minute pedicures.. let's just say I'll never be going anywhere else! Clean environment and everyone is so friendly, I feel like family here. I really wanted to like this place as it's RIGHT across the street from my house. It was my 1st time coming in and I asked for a gel mani pedi and my daughter got both her nails and toes painted. Everyone was super friendly. But the pedi was ehh for $60 doesn't even look like they worked off any dead skin and after they asked if I could come back tomorrow or another day for my gel mani since they were super busy and they didn't want the other people waiting any longer. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went here about a month or so ago and got a full set of dip and I was disappointed with it. Not even a week goes by and they started lifting. I went back again tonight January 16 2024 to give them a second chance and I wanted my dip nails that I got done somewhere else removed. The lady that took them off cut my actually nail with the nail drill bit then burnt my nails and made some of my nail square and the other ones round. I am very unhappy with the services I have gotten from there. read more

I had been going to the same nail tech for 3 years. She changed salons more times that I can count and because her recent move was going to take me much further from where I live and in the opposite direction, she decided to block me on social media. Good riddance! I was so upset that I had to find a new tech and new salon but a friend told me about 5 Gold Nails so I decided to try it out. Everyone was very professional, offered a large assortment of colors, and my nails look incredible. This is definitely my new spot!!! You won't be disappointed! read more

I absolutely love this place. Kevin and Emily have been doing my nails for over 15years. The salon is clean and beautiful. The prices are extremely reasonable. I always have a wonderful experience while I'm here. I drive over 40 minutes to get here, and it's well worth it. My daughter and I have tried a few different salons in the area but haven't found one we *love*. She usually has acrylics and I have dip nails so usually one of us doesn't have a great experience. HOWEVER THAT HAS ALL CHANGED WITH FIVE GOLD NAILS. This is by FAR the best salon I have been to in a long time. Everyone there was wonderful and very nice. We both had their volcano pedicure as well as our nail fills. We were the last ones for the day and mine took about 30-40 minutes past close. There was never a moment that I felt rushed or that my tech (I wish I got her name) was rushing. We chatted and it was an overall great experience. Not to mention both our nails look amazing. I am so happy I found this place and they have customers for life! read more

This was my 3rd and final visit to this salon. Arrived mid afternoon Friday. The salon was not busy. I was told by the owner to take a seat at any of the empty pedicure chairs which I did. So I sat there and waited. Thinking maybe someone sitting idly or walking by might put some hot water in the tub. And I waited. Then I waited while my nail tech first helped another nail tech then struggled to put her gloves on. All the while, no hot water. Finally got hot water (I asked for hot and she blasted it hot) spa menu and color selections. I set these aside. She started the pedicure and never asked me what service I wanted or the color. Another tech took the books - I was then asked if I knew what number I wanted? No I did not write it down. She cut my nails down without asking, filed how she thought they should be filed. Somewhere 3/4 into my pedicure the shop got incredibly busy with the staff talking across the room, showing photos on the phone to my tech while I was supposed to be getting a pedicure. You would have thought they were at a house party. The actual pedicure I got was decent. But because of the extremely poor customer service I received I will not return. Why would I want to pay for what is supposed to be a relaxing treatment to hear loud chatter across the room, trying to figure out how to use a Starbucks gift card, followed by what to order at Starbucks. And no less than 10 interruptions to and by the person doing my pedicure! read more

This was absolutely the worst nail salon i have ever been to. My nails ended up looking like actual nubs and the nail artist did my french tip to horribly that i was shocked. i assumed that she would clean it up considering how awful it looked, however she didn't and got mad at me when i asked her if she would. i ended up telling her to just paint my whole nail the solid color and she kept insisting on fixing the french tip after she attempted it and failed miserably twice. they practically wouldn't allow me to just get the solid color i didn't even want. this was the absolute biggest waste of my time and they still tried to get to me to pay a ridiculous price for the service. i would rather have anyone else on this planet paint my nails than a worker from this salon. absolutely terrible service. read more

I should also note that I'm 38 weeks pregnant and my sensitivity is much higher than someone not pregnant, but the pain was very tolerable and over within 15-20 min. She assured me it wouldn't hurt and it was necessary to avoid getting bumps on my sensitive skin which would not be good for the wedding. It worked. She dyed my eyebrows and removed my chin hairs. I did not get any bumps because of the "caddle prod" thing she used and all of the oils. I really appreciated her time to ease my concerns and listen to them. I did not feel rushed at all. for my chapped lips, she gave me a sugar scrub. I really appreciated finding her at the last minutes especially over a holiday weekend.

That day, I met the best nail technician I've had in 30+ years. She gave me a French gel manicure that has lasted over three weeks! The job was seamless, with no bump between the clear and the white line--impressive! The price was fair for the attention and service I received. I have recommended Pink and White Nails to my family and friends. This is my nail spot in Tampa, hands down!

When it was brought to my attention, I explained the situation and immediately shut my door. The owners of this business then became extremely aggressive toward me. The woman stood very close to me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and intimidated. After I asked for space, she went inside and got her husband, who came storming toward my vehicle while I was already inside with my children and the doors locked. He began banging on my car window with enough force that I genuinely thought the glass could break. I feared for my safety and ended up calling the police and filing a report. The way this situation was handled by the owners was unacceptable and frightening, especially with children present. I do not recommend going to this place or supporting a business that would treat a mother and her children this way.
