Update - I wanted to update my review and give credit to the team at Castriota Chevrolet. Soon…read moreafter posting my previous review, I received a call from Jeremy - a Sales Manager at Castriota Chevrolet. He called because he was concerned about my review. His tone and willingness to discuss the issues presented were very good, he was not arguing or disputing but rather acknowledging and understanding - something I do truly respect. He took ownership of the situation and called to see what we (together) could do to overcome all of our concerns. To be fair, I was a little short with him, not due to any fault of his, because I was on a break and did not have much time to speak with him and honestly was still frustrated with my Service Dept experiences. A couple of weeks ago (near the end of July) we stopped by the dealership and sat down with Jeremy and our sales agent Carol. They assured us that the situation has been addressed internally and we should not experience any further incidents such as we had previously. Additionally, they gave us information on how to resolve them BEFORE they get too far out of hand. It truly feels like they listened, understood, took ownership of the situation and established a resolution and procedure should it happen again. I have a LOT of respect for the way Castriota Chevrolet addressed this entire situation. A couple days later, my wife brought her truck in for an oil change and cabin filter replacement, the service was performed quickly, and we were very happy with our service. I would also like to clarify, that our service advisor has been (and remains) Kathy, who has ALWAYS treated us very well. The previous incidents were not a fault of her handling of our service in any way I am updating my review because I see that they are truly trying to be better and from the most recent service, it appears to be working

UPDATE: ironically even though the "owner claimed was removed from their harassing marketing lists…read moreI still as of today 4/10/2026 receive regular email communications. I'm not sure why they continue to reach out but ID LIKE TO BE LEFT ALONE PLEASE!!! As someone who has purchased a lot of vehicles over the years, Maus Nissan of Brooksville I can confidently say is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with bar none. In 2023 I went to this dealership and purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT. What drew me to this vehicle was the competitive price listed online, so a couple of friends and I went to go see it. I brought my trade and sat down with a sales person. After I test drove the car I told him I wanted to move forward. After letting someone else demo the car in front of me while they had my approval in hand and after a few hours i reluctantly decided to move forward. Once I got into finance I was pressured into purchasing an extended warranty that I did not want in order to get a rate I more than qualified before. The whole car buying experience was stressful from the start, and you would think that would be the end of it. But no, they manage to make it worse. Within 30 days I sold the vehicle because I was not satisfied with its condition. Regardless of warranty, with how poorly I was treated I wanted nothing to do with this dealer. So I traded the car in and had to still return to get my extended warranty refunded. Fortunately that was the least stressful part of my whole interaction with them. The reason why I am writing this review is because since this purchase I have received non stop calls, text messages, and emails from people at this dealership. FOR YEARS even though I do not own the car that I purchased from them and after several times telling whoever called me to leave me alone the calls persist. The number is blocked, yet I constantly receive voicemails still. I hope whoever at Maus Nissan reading this removed my name from whatever list it is on. I am tired of being harassed. Don't ever go to this dealer, and if you unfortunately do you may need a new number and email in order to be left alone.

I was told I needed new transmission mounts; I couldn't have it done when I was there due to a scheduling issue. I brought the car back three weeks later, and they wanted an extra $100.00 to complete the work, which was part of my warranty. Tried to sell me new tires, stating that I needed them; I had just bought tires from them 9 months before that.

Shortly after buying the car, I began experiencing problems with the traction light, then it was the engine light came on they just reset it, then it was the serpentine belt, then it was my passenger window motor, then the car started smoking really bad. Since then, I've had to bring the vehicle back multiple times for repairs, which has been extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Despite these repeated visits, the issues have not been properly resolved. I expected a reliable vehicle, especially so soon after purchase, but instead I've been dealing with constant back-and-forth and no lasting solution. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency in addressing the problem from the sales person Tony from the Springhill location. Never returns calls back. Communication has been inconsistent, and Sam the manager in the shop in Hudson is very rude and pretty much said it's an old car you get what you get. At this point, I would not recommend this dealership to others. Buying a car should come with peace of mind, not ongoing stress and repeated trips to the service department.

I reviewed the information on carsunlimited.com and honestly thought it was too good to be true. I am happy to say the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The quality of the vehicle, the ease of buying, and the level of service throughout the process and afterward were above and beyond. Allen, Jamie, and Justin are exceptional. As time has passed, a couple of typical things have come up with the vehicle, and the support I've received has been outstanding. In a world where getting straightforward, honest information is rare, Cars Unlimited has been a dependable foundation I can trust. Their commitment doesn't end at the sale -- and that ongoing support has been truly invaluable. Choosing them remains one of the best decisions I've made.

I wished I still had the pickup today, but things happen for a reason. I do look back on his website from time to time to see if he has anything else interesting to buy. If he does, I'll contact him and we will drive there again to buy from him again. Thanks again.
