Came here last week to pick Rainier Cherries and I am so happy with my experience! I made a reservation online for two people. Their reservation website is easy to navigate. With the reservation, each ticket holder gets 1lb of cherries included! The check in process was super easy and we were picking in no time. The picking experience was great, there were so many rainier cherry trees full of fruit. Be sure to have a little taste of each tree because some cherry trees are more tart than others. The grounds were not too sandy and didn't make my shoes all dirty, which I appreciate. Be careful as the ground is uneven in some parts and have holes. There are also ladders and the farm sells cherry pickers for $15/each. Great fun for the family! Parking: Easy, there's plenty of parking. But keep in mind the entrance is a one way. When you exit, keep going the other way. There's also port o potties on site. Overall, I had a great time here. The workers were really nice and the orchard is well kept. I would definitely come again!

This was my first time coming out and going cherry picking. We were told to go early and let me tell you this is a very great tip. Go once they open. If you go later you run in to very hot heat and a lot of people. In the morning it is a bit cooler and less people where you can walk around more and not feel crowded. Cherries were 3.50 a pound. We grabbed two small buckets and headed out. From all the loot we got we only had to pay 42 dollars for 13 pounds of cherries. Let me tell you it is pie baking and canning season. The farm had such nice employees including volunteers from 4H which I thought was super cool and a great way to be inclusive with the community. There were rainier cherries and coral cherries. There was fewer of the white cherry trees and I'm glad we came on opening day because these are my favorite. I had such a fun time and will be back again next year. Make sure to call in to see if they are open or picked out.

Took my family from out of state today to pick cherries. It was our first time and we can honestly say it's going to be a new family tradition. We had so much fun and the cherries were yummy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They explained what type of cherries they had to offer and gave our kids a lesson on how to respect the trees branches because they are sensitive. Definitely would recommend 5 star Cherries to anyone looking for a fun experience.

First time cherry picking and I picked a good place. They picked a name that could go either way, but it gets a 5 star from me. Abundance of cherries and 3 out of the 5 varieties available to pick from. I got a workout and food in one go.

Took a group of preschoolers today for their first picking experience, Jessica could not have been more accommodating. We had 25+ young children each with separate purchases. The cherries are outstanding and a fun experience for all.

Their cherries are sweet and juicy. Very easy to pick. For only $3.5 per pound, you can have any variety that they carry. My favorite is Rainier cherries. We went there on 6/4 and they are still tons of cherries on the trees.

Very good place to go and never come in after 9am since there will be tons of people, and for safety concern they will close the gate and not letting anymore car come in. Their staffs were very helpful and understanding, polite and the place has lots of trees and you less likely run into crowds and you enjoy picking at your territory! We picked like 20 pounds within couple trees, and they were very sweet!!! I don't see a point to complaint like the pervious person if you come in at the time they open! You aren't allow to go to a place that's over crowded and complain???? SMH........

    All rainier cherry! Yeah!

This is sooooooo great!!! I cannot wait to come next year!! The yellow mark on trees represent the Rainier cherry. It's super sweet! Must try!! The ppl here are really nice and friendly!! Cash only!! Don't forget that!

I came here last week and had such a great time. The orchard is pretty big and has three types of cherries. Top-quality with friendly staff members. No minimum amount. Note that they don't sell water or drinks, so don't forget to bring your own. It also gets really hot, fyi.

a long wait on the curb to get into the farm. you can see probably 100s of cars parked in the farm.

Dated: May 29th 2016. We went there yesterday (05/29) and it was great. Lots of trees n lots of cherries still left. * Go early to avoid crowd * take plenty of water. You can realise global warming :p * CASH ONLY * Only Negative is - They dont have more ladders. my 4 year old could not find many cherries at her height. wish they had ladders. * Plenty of parking available. * you cannot take any bags. They have a small place (unsecured) to keep your bags there. They allow you to take water though. * Have fun

Lot of cherries to pick from

Okay the season is ON here from Friday 29 may, 2015 and we went there on saturday 30 may. Advice is to reach early as we saw around 10 cars already parked at 9.10 am when we reachd The good: 1. Lot of cherries to pick. Good crop and lot of trees to pick from 2. Buckets and kids buckets to put into 3. Taste and savour few of them to understand the kind of cherries you want 4. Friendly staff- good, nice vibe of welcomeness 5. Ladders available for if you want to pick from top of trees Not so good: 1. Mobile toilets, as expected, not maintained well. 2. No card options to pay. But again, this is a trend for other farms too Overall, a good family trip with nice outing.

There are bunches of sweet cherries at the height doesn't need ladder. We three short girls (~5'2) picked around 34 lbs in 2 hours. Huge harvest, huge fun. I'd like to come here again next year! They do have at least one ladder, but I didn't see anyone used it. Definite come early. We arrived around 10am, when the parking lot was going to filled up quickly. When we left at around 12pm, I saw a lot of vehicles lining up on the road. Cash only.

Later on, we found out that section was already out of season. As we walked farther, we finally saw much better cherries, but most of the good ones were way too high to reach and there were no ladders available. There were some lower branches, but the cherries there were not great in quality, so we ended up picking only around 3 lbs. We then decided to switch to the peach and nectarine area hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately there was barely anything good to pick. Most of the fruits were either overripe, damaged, or already picked over. Overall, it felt like the farm should have better guidance on which sections are still worth visiting before customers pay and spend time walking around in the heat. The staff was fine, but the overall fruit quality and picking experience were disappointing for us this visit.

My daughter and I found what looked to be an unpicked cherry tree and went to work. It didn't take long for us to gather a bounty of cherries, and there was tons of low hanging fruit that was super easy for a petite seven-year-old to reach. Special thanks to the Freitas staff member who told us to pick dark cherries. The bright red ones look appealing but they need more time on the tree! We took home seven pounds of cherries. They were $4/pound and they take cash or credit cards. I checked their website before heading here (and recommend you do too!). We'll definitely be back to Freitas.

There was no signage indicating price/pound, and they give you a plastic bag to carry your cherries. When we got into the orchard, we noticed that most of the trees had been either picked clean or had berries that were rotten or too small/not ripe yet. We intentionally walked much further in to see if we could find some trees that hadn't been picked as much, but the orchard wasn't in great shape. We struggled to find cherries we actually wanted to pick, and we tripped a few times on the uneven dirt, weeds, and tubes running throughout. When we left, we weighed our cherries and confirmed they were $4/lb. Freitas also doesn't take credit card, so we had to pay with either cash or Venmo. We've previously been to The Cherry Pit and far preferred our experience there. The Cherry Pit had parking closer to the entrance, clear signage indicating price/lb, lots of high quality trees and ample cherries to pick, and accepts credit cards. The Cherry Pit also didn't ask us to sign a waiver before entering.
