It didn't take us long to pick 13lbs of cherries and with my 3 kids age 8 and under. We didn't need to go far from the entrance. We went on a Sunday around noon and it was not busy. Came here last week to pick Rainier Cherries and I am so happy with my experience! I made a reservation online for two people. Their reservation website is easy to navigate. With the reservation, each ticket holder gets 1lb of cherries included! The check in process was super easy and we were picking in no time. The picking experience was great, there were so many rainier cherry trees full of fruit. Be sure to have a little taste of each tree because some cherry trees are more tart than others. The grounds were not too sandy and didn't make my shoes all dirty, which I appreciate. Be careful as the ground is uneven in some parts and have holes. There are also ladders and the farm sells cherry pickers for $15/each. Great fun for the family! Parking: Easy, there's plenty of parking. But keep in mind the entrance is a one way. When you exit, keep going the other way. There's also port o potties on site. Overall, I had a great time here. The workers were really nice and the orchard is well kept. This was my first time coming out and going cherry picking. We were told to go early and let me tell you this is a very great tip. Go once they open. If you go later you run in to very hot heat and a lot of people. In the morning it is a bit cooler and less people where you can walk around more and not feel crowded. Cherries were 3.50 a pound. We grabbed two small buckets and headed out. From all the loot we got we only had to pay 42 dollars for 13 pounds of cherries. Let me tell you it is pie baking and canning season. The farm had such nice employees including volunteers from 4H which I thought was super cool and a great way to be inclusive with the community. There were rainier cherries and coral cherries. There was fewer of the white cherry trees and I'm glad we came on opening day because these are my favorite. I had such a fun time and will be back again next year. Make online reservations, you'll get a ticket pass that tells you what time to be there. That online fee goes towards your cherry picking load. Parking is easy, and not crowded because of the online reservation system. I like that they have plenty of ladders. I don't know why people don't take them. All the cherries at the top get the most sun! There are some trees that have sooooo many cherries. We just stayed at 1-2 trees and got 15 pounds! All very big coral cherries, firm, juicy, and sweet. The time I went, 5/22/2021, the rainier cherries seemed small and not ready. I read that other visitors had better luck. It does feel more chill to pick cherries at this location. Lot of cherries to pick. Good crop and lot of trees to pick from 2. Buckets and kids buckets to put into 3. Taste and savour few of them to understand the kind of cherries you want 4. Got very good Rainier cherries here, very sweet especially on top of the tree (use the ladder to reach them). Sweetheart cherries and other red cherries are also good, but looks like they can still wait a week or so to get darker in color. Far fewer people than Nunn Better Farm, and cherries are even better. The Google location of this address is not precise enough. Make sure you look for the street number. There is a big sign on the ground at the entrance from the main road. Someone from the neighboring farm "McLean Farm" kept telling people who were pausing and trying to find 5 Star Cherries that the farm is just next door, but it is closed today. Absolutely a liar for hoping to redirect the crowd to themselves. This is not to say that McLean Farm may not have good cherries, but the fact they are lying to get people is just disgusting. read more

We went on Saturday 6/10 and they opened up a new section of the orchard for rainier cherries. The trees were full and the cherries were large in size. The staff was friendly and more than happy to give you a few pointers on where to find the best ones. Crowds were not bad. Plenty of space for all. The rainiers were plump and very sweet. Just went yesterday. Much more relaxed picking experience because of the reservation system, with families spread out. Watch out for gopher holes hidden by grass, so you don't twist your ankle like I did. There were Rainiers but they not particularly ripe yet. We focused on abundant Corals. All the cherries were big and juicy. I actually prefer the Corals a bit less than fully ripe for eating, because they're intensely sweet when they turn the shade of ripe Bing cherries. read more

Been there twice now - last time it was during a long weekend in the am and we had to wait 30min or so to gain entrance. This Sunday (last day of cherry picking) we came around 1:30 pm and was parked right away. They had plenty of large cherries left and even a handful of Rainer cherry trees. Ladders are left throughout orchid and is claimed by next occupant or if it's free you can move it as you wish. All cherries $3.50/lbs - cash only. Good experience picking "Seeetheart" cherries on reportedly last weekend. See their Facebook page for updates and Q&A. $3.50/lb so a bit more than supermarket price, but that's not what you are paying for... We arrived within an hour of opening a new section and indeed picking was easy and the cherries looked great (and can now report they taste great too!) They mentioned some Ranier trees but they had already been well picked. Despite that I spent a lot of effort combing for some last passable Raniers rather than picking "too many" sweethearts... It is very easy to pick more than you really want to pay for so take your time and enjoy the experience and be aware of the bucket level. The attendants were good at pointing this out at the beginning to is but they weren't so busy at that time. We picked 10.9 lbs in a little over an hour. A good portion of that for me was hunting down about two dozen Raniers! read more

Parking is a pain to get in. It wasn't organized at all. Their entrance and exit were combined (Nunn better farm has the most organized parking lot). Vehicles were lining up on the road. Staffs doesn't seem to care if the road is congested. read more

My family and I recently visited 5 Star Cherries & I can honestly say, I was so glad that this place was still available for cherry picking while every other place was closed. The cherries are very sweet, if you know where to pick them. If you're one of those people who like the sweeter cherries I recommend picking the cherries all the way in the back or near the left side of the entrance. The only downside about 5 Star Cherries was because you have to wait quite a long time before being able to park, especially when you're going cherry picking near the end of the season. There were many nice and warm staffs providing help. However, if you really want to enjoy the pick you should get there as early as you can because the parking place is limited.
