Feeling peachy? Well, it's peach season until the end of July, so it's time to take advantage! I'm glad I picked out this family-owned business. I went 10 minutes before their opening time at 9 am, and yet they were already open! They don't mess around! This is a well-maintained and tidy ranch. There's a counter with pre-picked fruit for $4.00/lb. I would rather pick my own fruit for $3.50/lb though. If bringing family members, be sure to take some pictures with their standup face cut-outs to complete the family experience! Buckets are available to collect fruit in, so grab a bucket and enjoy the farmer's life. Unfortunately, many customers picked a lot of the peaches during the weekend, so the cashier said they only had two rows of yellow nectarines left. They also had apriums, but I was only interested in nectarines and peaches. He led me towards the rows and the fruits were average-sized. The ones on the higher branches were obviously bigger, but I was still able to reach for some decently-sized nectarines. I walked down a few trees within the rows and found that there were HUGE peaches ripe for the picking! Maybe the cashier was misinformed when he listed what was available at the beginning, but I'm not complaining...I got me some peaches! This is a cash-only establishment and my total turned out to be around $42. They also gave me a box to carry all of my fruit in. I'm aware of others saying that their fruit was sour, but that wasn't the case for me! My nectarines were sweet and delicious. It really depends on what's available on the trees and how long they've been able to mature, to be honest. They'll be open until the end of July, so don't wait until the season is over. We came here in early June 2021, and they had white peaches, yellow peaches, yellow nectarines, white nectarines, and apricots. Much of the fruit was rather sour but we did manage to find some fruit that was sweet. The orchard property is quite big. Walk towards the back for the good fruit. Also, bring lots of water and sun protection. It gets hoooot here! read more

This is my second time visiting Canciamilla Ranch in Brentwood. I came three weeks ago because they were the first to display and provide White Peaches along the road of farms and ranches along (fruit row) driving into Brentwood from Vasco Rd. I wasn't into picking cherries like at the other farms. I knew what I was looking for and that was White Peaches. What I found was a beautiful thing! Their parking area can accomodate about 10-15 cars. When we were there today, there was only a couple cars there. I thought that was good so as not to be crowded with other Peach Pickers. You can pick the fruit yourself on their ranch or buy the freshly picked, perfectly ripe peaches and nectarine fruit on the table at a slightly higher cost. I had my kids with me and wanted to give them a lovely experience so we picked the fruit. We were directed by one of the sons to stay within the roped off area. We grabbed a couple of buckets and we were off. The kids started off at the first tree closest to the walk but I didn't want to do the easiest thing. Plus, I wanted better fruit. So, I directed my kids to follow me and we ventured to the middle area of the farm and began picking there. We found many beautiful fruit and had tried a couple to realize how special our harvest was. The family that own and run the ranch are very nice and are great people! read more

I have now been twice for nectarines and peaches last year and this year. Both times I had fruit that were so sour. This time I did a U-pick for nectarines and the nectarines were small and even though I let them ripen on my counter, which was quick, they were so sour. It's nice that they have a lot of space between trees for you to walk around and pick! They also have a porta-potty for you to use. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be checking Canciamilla Ranch out again. read more

We came here on a Sunday around 2PM to pick some fresh peaches. After researching online I saw that Canciamilla Ranch was one of the only local places open for u-pick peaches. Parking is a little hectic as it's one road for going both in and out. Once we got there we grabbed a bucket and headed into the peach picking area. It was packed! Luckily there were still tons of peaches to be picked. We paid $2.50 per pound and were given a bag to transport the peaches home in. It was nice that some were firm and other's soft and ready to eat. read more

I went back in June 2021 and it was a fun u-pick experience! The fruits were small but ripe and delicious. The orchard was well kept and there were boxes to pick up on your way out if you weren't too successful finding ones you liked. Not too many varieties of stonefruits available at the time, but a good place to get delicious peaches, nectarines, and plums. read more

Wow wow. The nectarines were amazing. This Was the first time that I went to the u pick nectarines in Brentwood. Before I headed out I went to their website and I checked out what type of produce they had. Then I drove over using my GPS and I very easily found it. On Friday there was only one other car it was the perfect time to go. There was plenty of parking and it was just a beautiful day. You can either pick buckets of fruit yourself or you can purchase some of the fruit that has been picked by the farmers earlier that day. Today they had white nectarines, yellow nectarines, and a few other types of fruit. They also sold local honey, nuts, water, and other refreshments. After I went home I tried the nectarines and they were simply delicious and extremely sweet. The ripe white nectarines that I ate were sweet like candy! just incredible. The varioety of yellow nectarines they have was both tangy and sweet, I have never had this variety. I will definitely be back before the season is over. Highly recommended! read more

I came here to pick peaches and nectarines the first weekend of June. Only white peaches were available and I was informed nectarines would be available the following weekend, closer to mid June. While the white peach orchard was small, the trees had a lot of fruit. The peaches were quite ripe as by the time we got home several were crushed and bruised. They were semi-hard at picking though. They were very sweet. $2.75 a lb. They also sell ice cream and drinks at the stand as well as picked fruit. It was also nice to be able to wash my hands at a running sink at their entrance/exit after picking fruit. Their message on the Brentwood Harvest Time website is not accurate/updated as it said yellow peaches and white and yellow nectarines were available for u-pick. read more

It is a good family owned farm with cute livestock chickens and goose, but fruits are limited and small. However, I felt I got cheated. I was there yesterday, and front counter clerk pointed my family to the side where white nectarines are mostly picked. After I paid, the same guy from counter said they have another back section has better and more nectarines. I was kinda upset, and went into that back section and picked more white nectarines. I ended up buying like double amounts of nectarines. As I see, the front counter clerk was intentionally lead customers to the mostly picked section(all small and overripe fruits) without informing there is another open section(better fruits) in the back of the farm house. read more

Overall very bad experience coming here.. The visit spoiled my entire day. 1) It's a very small plantation. You won't get much picking here. During my visit most trees were young. 2) They will not allow a chair for my aging mother to sit on while we picked. One guy chased me all the way to collect the chair and spoke very rudely. 3) Met another rude guy at the counter who was a total jerk explaining that you must buy 2 pounds of fruits per adult. Something that can be explained politely. 4) I am not sure about this one but I suspect that they sprayed some kind of pesticide here which should not be allowed in U-pick farms. My entire face got a severe allergy response after eating a peach. I do have allergies with some kinds of pesticides. read more

This place is a hidden gem they have the best nectarines, pluots and nectaplums. The only mistake I've made is not visiting sooner. Being a Brentwood native I rarely find time to make the trip to the local produce stand. I highly recommend them it's worth the trip to grab some fresh produce here rather than your local grocery store you won't be disappointed. read more

Love this place. I prefer the smaller, family-run places and like that I can do u-pick or not. The nectarines and plums are awesome, delicious & gorgeous, and unsprayed for most of the season. Found the ranch too late in the season for peaches, but the customers who came looking for more said they were great. And they have several types of plums and nectarines which make for a long season of fresh fruit. They also have yummy dried fruit and small batch jams. read more

That "dust" on the plum is a natural substance called bloom. When you get a plum in the supermarket all that bloom has been rubbed off. When you pick a plum off the tree and see that "dust" you know no one has handled it - you can't get it any fresherthan that!! Angela should learn the facts before giving poor reviews. read more

I was out in the Brentwood area yesterday. I stopped by Canciamilla Ranch with my sister and friend to get "white nectarines" OMG what a flavor. Take the time to stop by and get some. Best nectarines ever! Bring a flat box so they don't injure each other because they are *very* ripe.

We had already been to another farm to pick peaches and necterines so were looking for a place for plums. We went here the last weekend of June and they were so sweet my kids called them "Sugar Plums". The people working there are nice and the plums were very sweet. They don't allow picnicing in their orchards like other places but they did have a table and chairs off their parking lot that the four of us could quickly have lunch. They have some chickens, roosters, geese, etc that the kids had fun watching. In regards to the person who posted about the plums covered in dust. Yes, they were but it's natural and those were the best ones! They also sold other produce (we didn't buy any) but we did go home with a box of firewood for $8. read more

GREAT PLACE!!!! The fruit was the best in all of Brentwood and neighboring counties. Spent a few hours walking the orchard and visitng with the family owners (who are always working). Excellent product and service. All the trees had plenty of fruit, all of them were large and super sweet. We went towards the end of the season and it was perfect. It is not a huge fruit mill, like so many others , it is tucked away so your not run over by the hoards of people, really nice to see a business like this serving the community, we will defiantly be back and recommend this place highly!!! read more
