After the food arrived--and after I had already started eating--I was then informed that while the crepe itself was gluten-free, the filling was not. That kind of distinction should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer specifically asks about gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the same situation happened with my daughter, who also has celiac. To make matters worse, we were charged for both the incorrect meals and the replacements. In hindsight, I should have asked for a manager, but we were there to visit with a friend and I didn't want to make a scene. Our total for three people ended up being over $80 with the tip I still left. I understand that eating out always carries risk when you have dietary restrictions, and I ALWAYS try to approach it with patience and kindness. We were traveling, so we didn't have much choice. But if a restaurant says they offer gluten-free items, there needs to be a basic understanding (by the wait staff AND the kitchen cooks) of ingredients and clear communication. What should have been a fun outing turned into a weekend of being very sick. Just something to be aware of if you have to eat gluten-free for health reasons - this is probably not the spot for you.

There was also a proper bar with both a bartender and barstool seating if you wanted to pull up a stool and enjoy a beverage. The entire facility was clean and well maintained, including the restrooms, which were well stocked during our visit. The outdoor patio was especially nice, with a mix of shaded and sunny seating areas. While we were there, a local dog rescue was hosting an adoption event where visitors could meet puppies. It was fun to see families, kids, and adults enjoying the event, and the dog-friendly patio made the atmosphere even more welcoming.
