I particularly loved the pomegranate stew (Fessen Joon) on basmati rice with saffron. Such a rich and flavorful sauce. When I asked the owner how to make it, she told me it cooks for 7 hours. I also enjoyed the very fresh salad with delicious homemade dill dressing. Wish I could have taken home a bottle of it. The highlight for my husband and I was meeting the warm and wonderful owner, Laxmi. She came out to chat after dinner and when we told her we were celebrating our anniversary, she brought us a piece of their freshly made walnut dark chocolate cake, which was fabulous.
