As soon as I placed the order, I sent a text message to confirm if my order went through and to see if I could get it delivered instead, which wasn't a problem at all! I was also given a timeframe of when Damien would bake and ship out my goods, which was accurate and fast. The hardest part was waiting for it to be delivered, which was 2 long days but that's only because I'm impatient. When I did receive my order which was on Saturday, March 4th, everything was wrapped up perfectly in bubble wrap. Almost all of the cookies were in perfect condition but that's only because the mail lady had the box flipped on the side. I couldn't wait until desert time, so I opened a pack of 3 cookies that come pre-wrapped, and left no crumbs, they're THAT delicious. After eating a normal meal, I cracked open the Peach Cobbler that came in two large mason jars. It's honestly the greatest thing ever. I ate about 1/4 of that mason jar in one sitting before stopping myself. Everything tasted super fresh If you're considering ordering, stop thinking about it and just do it, you won't regret it.

It was tasty meatloaf but was a crunbled spoonful which is out of character with the usual normal sized generous serving, but the mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and fried okra, were good tasty comfort food. Rolls were good but for some reason very small tonight. The garden salad was fresh and crisp tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, grated cheddar on top, with Italian dressing. Ivey, our server, informed us the advertised delicious banana pudding was not being served tonight for some reason. Big disappointment to hear about not having the advertised banana pudding but in lieu of that I was offered two complementary chocolate chip cookies. The chicken and dumplings was good but almost no chicken on the plate and lots of dumplings. Also take a look at previous meal photos to see the usual generous serving of chicken and dumplings. Green beans and broccoli salad were good. Hershey bar chocolate cake was good dessert. Southern iced teas were perfectly refreshing. I recommend their Southern Style Country Food which is normally some of best comfort food but tonight was an off night according to Ivey, our server, the small portions on our plates was in contrast to the normally generous portions of the specials for some unknown reason Tonight was an off night for some reason with few cars in parking lot and only two other people in the dining room. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.

Over the last couple years however, the flavor and quality of their once-famous cinnamon rolls has changed. Their icing has become somewhat bitter and the dough isn't as soft and delicious as it once was. We would happily make a trip downtown just to bring some home. It's been a while so I went in today to give them another try. I arrived just after they opened and was told they'd have no baked goods or cinnamon rolls for 20+ minutes. The person working there (not the main owner) didn't seem to be bothered by the idea that a business that specializes in baked goods had no product on shelf at the time they opened. We've always supported local businesses in Pittsboro and really hope Willy's can get back to their roots and their distinctive cinnamon rolls and high quality service they used to be known for!
