HORRIBLE! If you're in Orlando, do NOT pursue. Overpriced / Pressure Sales / Dishonest / No Communication / Wrong Product Installed / No Service Full Story: We had a very tight timeline and needed the cheapest prices as we were selling the home, which we let each vendor know before quoting. 50Flooring was the first we met with. The sales person was aggressive in trying to get us to purchase, even though I kept saying no. I asked multiple times if the carpet she was selling was the lowest price they had and she said it was. We finally decided to proceed when they found a in-stock carpet that would work for $3k with the option to cancel w/full refund since that seemed high. The other two vendors who gave quotes later that day came in at $1,800 to $2,000. So I asked to cancel. She immediately said, let me see what we can do. They came back after 5pm that day and said we can do $2,000 but for a different carpet quality, but same style and color and could meet the deadline. So we continued. Two days later we get a text from the coordinator stating our carpet would be in three days after our deadline to schedule install. I immediately reached out and stated this was not acceptable. She again said, let me see what I can do. She got back to me and said we found one that will work and it's just a slightly lighter color and sent me the picture of the sample. Since we had no other options at that point, we agreed. We had to reach out to confirm when installation would be since no one had contacted us and instead of the days we'd originally stated we needed, the only day they had was a day earlier. So we had to completely re-arrange our schedule. On the day of the install the installers were over an hour past the time frame and so we again had to adjust our schedule to go let them in. We were surprised that the carpet was two different rolls and two different colors. We could only see a small 2" square since it was rolled up in the truck and very difficult to see what it actually was, but we had no time since we'd ran out of a work meeting. I again reached out to voice concerns and they confirmed it was the same color, it just must look different in the truck and that this team was great and matching things up. Since it was two different rooms, we agreed to continue. The installers had us electronically sign which rooms they were installing carpet in, which we were not told would occur. When we returned after receiving notification the job was complete, we found that a totally different carpet was installed (Berber). There were two different colors and two different patterns on the carpet - none of which we had been told about. In addition, the point was to closely match the carpet we were keeping in the house - which it now did not. Okay - I know this is long. So we reached out again to voice concerns and were told that an executive would call us the next day. We did not receive a call. We found out that they still had the incorrect phone number in their system that we'd asked them to change multiple times. I was able to get the number and call Dana the district manager, which had no details on the voicemail recording, but I still left a message. Still no call the next day, so I left a message again. I also texted the coordinator and sales person again to voice my displeasure and to let them know I'd not heard back. WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR RESOLUTION!!! The house goes up for sale tomorrow and we've got three different carpets in the house now. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! read more

Had an estimate for 980 sq feet, mix of carpet and LVP with a couple level areas. $12780 TWELVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS We told them we dont need toilets put on - they still charge for it We told them we dont need furniture moved - we will do it - they still charge We already removed the old floor. We ask about their 65% off sale. Oh that price would normally be $17,000. We already accounted for it. SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR $980 SQUARE FEET And the math doesnt add up. 65% off $17000 is $5950. 65% off 12780 is $4473 They do a little show of some special today only problem that gets you $500 off and salesperson called a dude in mgmt who in 3 mins found some left over product in Atlanta they can use blah blah. $7320 today only. $7320 is not 65% off 12780 or $17000 Opening pitch is the buy directly from the manufacturer. During this call they inform us their warehouses are always empty. So which is it? I told them to stop wasting my time, give me a written offer $6000 (which is $150 higher then the 65% off should be) and they acted like I asked for a Lambogini We've had other estimates from positively review companies, $3600-4100. read more

Katie came out and helped us with the consult. She was patient, kind, and extremely helpful when it came to picking the carpet. We had new carpet installed in our master bedroom and new carpet installed for our stairs for a great price with 50 floor. They offered free installation, 50% off the flooring, military discount and this all came with a lifetime warranty. General stains, pet stains, and soils are 100% covered and they will come out and remove all the flooring and replace it for free. We paid in full but they do offer financing options which is great. Made an appointment for an estimate an evening appointment 6-8pm so I would not miss work , they called and canceled due to a shortage of estimators, they rescheduled me for two days later , this time a no show, so I wasted a whole morning waiting in and missing work . My wife and I are in the market for LVP and tried to get an estimate from 50floor. An appointment was scheduled with a two hour window for the consultant to arrive at our condo. The consultant was a no-show so we rescheduled and established another appointment with another two hour window. 30 minutes before the appointment window opened we received a phone call canceling the meeting with the design consultant. Thus, we decided to use Empire floors. They were fantastic! Definitely recommend Empire. read more

I have had a bad experience with them and would not recommend them to any of my family members, neighbors, or friends. I had work done by them in June or July of 2024. I decided to only have the carpet installed and not go with the wood flooring. I was due a refund. I was told that my refund would be to me in ten days. My ten days turned into threes months. Three months after calling the General Manager twice. The customer service Once. The Regional manager twice. I Finally Receive my refund after reporting them to the BBB. read more

I rarely leave reviews but when I feel it's needed to it's for a reason. I contacted 50floor and a DM came and provided me with an "at cost" no commission to him quote. I was quoted $5,100 for LVP for less than 700SQFT. I removed all carpeting from my rooms, and vacuumed as well. During my quote the rep advised any left over boxes of planks I would be able to keep as I paid for them. When the crew finished, I asked for the remaining planks and was told that they are not allowed to leave me with the remainder but as a courtesy, they will leave 1 box. After the crew finished, I advised I did not like the way the quarter round was connected and that nail holes show. They advised that is how it usually looks, and once I paint it you should not be able to tell. Who said I was going to paint? There are also some "sunken" spots throughout the rooms so in sure the concrete wasn't leveled. After they finished, my ENTIRE home was so dusty, my walls, furniture etc. It's LVP. If I knew this was going to happen, I would've removed all furniture from the home to prevent the dust from getting on EVERYTHING. When I mop, my floors are still coming up with all the dust, and this flooring was completed over a month ago. Someone the planks are repeated, which is ok but a flooring company should know how to NOT make it looks repeated when laying it down. What makes everything bother me as much as it does, is that it came out to over $7 a SQFT for LVP. This should have NOT been that much a SQFT if it were "at cost". I had 4 rooms to be done. I wanted ceramic tile in one. And wood vinyl plank in the other three. My salesman says oh no you don't want that. It's too expensive. He went on and on about this fabulous carpet made from plastic coke bottles. And how well his standings were as a salesman in the company. Finally he sat down to give me an estimate. 7000.00! For carpet!!! I politely told him as a widow I have to discuss it with my brother in law. He said "That makes it hard on a salesman ". I stood up and told him. "Salesman make it hard on widow's. Workmanship was perfect. They told me 2 to 3 days tearing up tile putting down luxury vinyl flooring planks. They only took 2 days. Here's where the problem is I knew I'm going to have dust from tile that's a no-brainer but why why did my furniture get covered why didn't my master bathroom closet get taped off I have dust on my shoes I put a belt on it's on the belt I have dust in every crack and crevice. Why didn't they cover up my property why? Then my salesman Jim nice guy gave me a quote wonderful ask me how do I like the floor I replied wow there is dust everywhere it's awful. Jim's reply oh that's great come on I think the craftsmanship is phenomenal but the process they're rushing him too fast which that's up to the installer they want to get it done to get another job but at my expense I'm disabled and right now I am living in a dust cloud really pissed off. So every time you open the closet door take a look at all the little cracks in it my brown cabinets are now white in the crack my furniture White and the crack my electronics Dusty my clothes are dusty my towels are dusty I'm pissed pissed pissed pissed. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I tried to get an estimate via their on-line chat. They apparently can't give you product pricing until they come to your home - even though installation is free. David was our salesperson and was probably the only good thing about this company. He was knowledgable about the product, brought samples to our house, and offered discounts I'm sure he could have anyway, but led us to believe he was doing it out of the goodness of his heart. I spent $17k redoing my entire house. Carpet upstairs and luxury vinyl downstairs. The product is great. Looks nice, feels nice. No complaints there. The complaints I have are with the installation and the damage and customer service. When I had the vinyl done, I watched a younger man, roll in and out a wheelbarrow of sorts which started to damage my front step. Once I pointed it out, he put a piece of wood so he could roll the equipment. Why he didn't do that in the first place is beyond me. I complained right away and it was written on the final paperwork. They came out to fix it and literally used some sort of putty, almost like caulk. Seriously? This needed a concrete fix, not a putty. My front step looks awful. I've been calling and texting the office with no response. Janessa is utterly useless. She said they don't carry concrete or cement. Well, if you damage something, you buy it or hire someone to fix it. The other issue with the vinyl flooring was that I had to hire a plumber to reset the toilet and the sink in the half bathroom. The salesperson failed to disclose how much thinner the floor was so we'll have to to around with some sort of silicone to close the gaps. When they came to do the carpets upstairs, they were UPSET there was too much furniture. I had put all the small things away, so it was literally furniture, just too much for them to handle. They called the office for more money and either couldn't get a hold of anybody or they wouldn't pay it. Because my house was a disaster, I asked how much extra and they said $100 so I paid them cash. SCAM! But, I needed it done. They damaged so many things, probably in anger. Furniture scraped against walls or each other. The whole thing was a mess. Thankfully the end result were nice flooring, but until they get my front step fixed, they get 2 stars. read more

UPDATE: After working it out with the General Manager - I'm HAPPY to say they replaced the floor with what they said is a higher quality Ceramic Tile - it looks and feels great so far. The problem was really with the manufacturer of the flooring product that they brought us to choose from. Now we have a great looking floor. Thank you 50 Floor! read more

requested a quote for 182/sqft of laminate flooring that is about 3.50/sqft material price which would total $637.00 total material price. they had a deal going on for 50% off with free install which should make the material price $318.50 with free install. Please make sure they put your toilet on correctly after installing floors. I now have mold from a slow leak of the toilet not being installed properly. 6,000 for mold removal. I have to buy new vanities and floors. Jason responded by the warranty for the toilet is 5 days and we aren't helping to cover costs. A large company and they treat customers like this. UPDATE: 3rd times a charm! The issues that we had with the plank to carpet transitions has been resolved to our satisfaction. The flooring now looks totally professional which is what we were insisting on from the onset. I want to give Wallace a special shout-out, he did a beautiful job re-flooring the hallway and transitioning to the connecting rooms as it should have been done initially. The job is now a 5 star installation, but we are only giving it 4 stars due to the rework it required. read more

An update on this review. It's been a month since we had our floors installed. We were asked to buy the oven handle that was damaged during the installation and send the receipt to Mr Anderson. My fiance and I bought a house, and we wanted to change the carpet in the bedrooms to vinyl. We ordered the Lexington style. I was told the office would call me in a couple of days with info on when it would be installed. It never happened. I had to call to find out. When I finally spoke to someone, the product was not in stock and was in backorder. We finally got the call that they were going to be installed, so we took out all our bedding and valuables, as they had asked us to. When the installer arrived, it was the wrong floor. NOT EVEN CLOSE to what we ordered. We called to complain and the person on the phone said she would try to get SOMETHING CLOSE to what we wanted. We told her we wanted what we paid for! We have been in this process since June 20th and now it's Aug. 25th, so its a little over a month. VERY DISAPPOINTED! POOR SERVICE! read more

Really like the product we bought and really liked how fast they were able to start and finish the project. The crews that came were polite and worked hard to get the floors done. There was a communication problem, due to my lack of the Spanish language. The problem is they damaged some furniture that we found after they left. The toilet that was reset in the 2nd bath, was done incorrectly - it rocks in place and has a caulk line that they tried to hide - had a 3/8 - 1/2 inch gap. They also tried to cover the clothes in the closets with a very thin plastic. This did absolutely no good. In hindsight, we should have removed every item of clothing. Because we didn't, we had to wash every article of clothing that was hanging in a closet. We have yet to receive a response from 50Floor about this. read more

I already had it measured 3 times by 3 different companies just needed a quote on installation. Each time it was still 260sq feet. They messaged back that I needed to call them. =_= Called them and was told they need to come out to measure. But I have already had it measured 3 times, I know the measurements. 50 floors ads are misleading, they buy the floor from companies and they advertise free installation which is not free! The customer is not allowed to go to the company is only for the workers and installers. The salesman was just plain disrespectful, condescending, and unpleasant making numerous offensive comments about my house, first, he asked me many times how to pronounce my name with a very bad attitude, when he entered the house he said: "what a messy house" of course I am under construction! telling me that they only move furniture and everything needs to go out of the house! What I was going to do with the floor was already had in a sarcastic way, telling me how knowledgeable they were not like Lowes or Home Depot with low-quality materials sending people from the garden area to flooring. He aggressively thought of some sample on the floor and in a bad manner told me to pick up that one! then before measuring the house asked me how much was my budget, he started laughing at me, that with only $10,000 better for me to go to the dollar store for that little money, and that he was wasting his time with me, he aggressively crushed his papers inside his case and run out of the house. That's just for kitchen..livining room..and Master bedroom & 2 tiny bathrooms..could of had the whole house done if I had used so m energy else..I'd have this ripped up if I could .. First, 50 Floors doesn't have a showroom in Orlando. Their sales person comes to your home. We could not get him out of our house because we wouldn't agree on his price and we wanted to shop around to keep them honest. He was also very opinionated. He also didn't have many samples. On the way out he mentioned most likely they will be the most expensive but you get what you pay for. I asked him for a quote. It was a text he sent me with a grand price only. Very unprofessional. We got quotes from two other companies and YES -50 Floors was the most expensive. They were 35% higher than the company we went with. I heard their add on TV for 60% off. We called for a appointment, the salesman showed up on time and proceeded to take measurements. He then told us that the regular price was a little over 13 thousand dollars but because of the special his company was running they would do the job for $7,500. I thanked him for his time and told him that he was completely unreasonable in his pricing and I would be able to get this flooring project done for half of that amount. Do not use this company I feel like I have pushed to the side and uncalled as a customer. I went with this company as the salesperson really sold me that they all worked under the company and didn't sell the install to the cheapest bid ect. She was also a woman and being a woman homeowner the way she handle everything made me belive they're company did the same. It can be a lot having men come to your house to give you quotes and do work your home. It took some time from the contract signing to install on my part due to my hoa and a few trips planned and when they day came the crew seemed very nice an knowledgeable. They didn't really talk to me and chose instead to talk to my boyfriend even though I twas my house and my name on the contract and I made that clear but they preferred to speak to him which just lengthened the process aa he would then ask me. It made me feel belittled but also after the first day of install I found my underwear in places in the home where they were not prior to the install ( out on the couch where they would never be) but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and on the second day of installation they were talked rudely about my boyfriend and I in Portuguese, until we hinted at their conversation in English and they realized we could understand their conversations. I walked upstairs while they were cutting baseboards for the updtairs bathroom to find they had not only opened an adult drawer but took personal out of their packaging and had rummaged through the drawers and placed other pieces on my underwear on the dresser top. I felt completely enraged disgusted and mortified I quickly left the house as I was so uncomfortable and my boyfriend stayed to have them complete the job as he convinced me it we be better to just get it done with and not have to have them come back. He put the items away and never the dresser to face the walls so the drawers could not be opened or rummaged through again. I called from my car as I left the house to speak to a manager and open a ticket as was told I'd get a call on Monday, on Monday afternoon I decided to call and was told the crew hadn't been called yet because they didnt think this incident happened in their markey and likely the crew members would be suspended but there wasn't any recourse given for the situation I was in. It honestly bring me to tears trying to talk about and I can't even enjoy my new floors because I have this trauma of people who should be trusted coming in and rifling through my belongings. I have to throw out a lot of expensive items because I honestly have no idea what they did when them when they had no reason to be in those drawers and open packages. They also ate candy that we had in the upstairs closet and left wrappers everywhere from the front lawn to on the new floors but that is the least on my worries. I'm still waiting for them to call the crew and get back to me with recourse for this issue. I trusted 50 floors to install floors in my home and they contracted out to people who invaded my privacy. I can't imagine what could have happened in my boyfriend wasn't there and truly now feel unsafe knowing these people have entered my home and know where I live. For a sales pitch that claimed to have the best installers and the price I paid which was more than other quotes to feel this true level of safety and security, I am beyond disgusted and disappointed. read more

I will update my review to say. The customer service with 50 Floor was great during this rough time. Also, Natalie and Christopher in the Orlando location were very professional. Everything has finally been fixed even the stairs that the installer noticed they used the wrong staplers and he took note and they fixed that as well. The last installers did a nice job and stretched the carpet like it should have been. The lines are no longer showing. Again, the vinyl flooring they did on the bottom was installed very well. The installers were the only thing good about this company. The sales guy DAVID matched my original flooring and said that I would not be able to tell the difference and persuaded me to continue with this purchase as they use the same products as other vendors. He showed me a picture of the product, no product was ever brought into my home. During installation I had to leave my wife home to watch over the installers. The installers had my wife sign some paperwork to "begin". They did not show my wife the product, however they did show her the paperwork to sign stating she saw the product. During the installation my wife commented that this was lighter and that it didn't seem right. They continued to install. When I returned, I was shocked to see such a difference in color. I tried to reach out to David, and of course, NO ANSWER. Not surprised, as he got his sale and was done with us. I told the installers to stop and leave my house until I found the underlying cause of this. The GM called me, MATT, and he told me there is nothing he could do, and I'm stuck with the product. He would give DAVID a talk to when he saw him 2 days later. Thats it, MATT THE GM, said, unfortunately because my wife signed off, I'm stuck with the product. I cried so hard as I raised money for this renovation. So, I was out of $6,000 and floors that do not match my other floors. It looks terrible. I offered to buy the flooring and have them return these floors and if they could work with me. I asked for even the labor to help me, I'll pay something. NOTHING, ABSOLUTOLY NOTHING. 50 FLOORS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH. AS LONG AS THEY MADE THERE MONDAY. GOOD JOB DAVID AND MATT YOU MADE A SALE, AND YOU TOOK MY MONEY BY LIEING ABOUT YOUR PRDUCT AND SERVICES! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. This was so depressing I could not talk about it to anyone or show anyone the room. I was tricked, suckered and treated like a fool. Even if they were able to work with me on something, but no. This is my second complaint since I had my flooring installed in June of 2022. One of the rooms we had Luxury Vinyl Flooring installed had a scratch on one of the planks. The person who lives in that room was not home for two months after the installation. I reported the issue to 50 floor and they told me it would not be covered because we should have caught it during inspection (was underneath furniture that they moved into place) or within the first few weeks of installation (not a timeline anyone had mentioned previously). When we were sold the flooring we were told they would take care of this sort of thing with 'no problem' and 'no questions' for the the lifetime of the tile. Now they are telling us we need to pay them to fix it and any attempts to have anyone else (including myself) repair/fill-in the crack would void the warranty. The Orlando office does nothing but lie about their support of the products and you have to scream at them or go places like this just to get anyone to listed or do anything. read more

The installers did a great job,,, once they finally arrived. We had a confirmed installation scheduled for Saturday. I say "confirmed" because 50 Floor called Friday to confirm the date. Saturday morning arrived and instead of a call from the crew informing us that they were on the way, it was 50 Floor calling to re-schedule, asking if they could come out Monday! We specifically asked for a Saturday installation due to our work schedules. The installation was re-scheduled for Sunday, and the crew arrived at the agreed upon time. That is my review for the installation side of the project... The sales person who came to the house was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was kind of turned off by the high pressure, time share style sales negotiations once the measurements were taken, and a product was chosen. The first price quoted roughly 2 and a half times higher than other companies. Once we recovered from the explosive sticker shock, the sales rep began her negotiations. We were able to get the price to within $500 of our previously highest quote (we didn't choose the other vendor because we had to chase them down to give us a price) after about half an hour of haggling and 3 phone calls to her supervisor. We were told that the negotiated price barely covered material costs, but they could work with it because the flooring we chose was in overstock at another location. Cool. After the sales rep left, I researched the material we chose, and even the manufacturer's suggested retail price was about half of what 50 Floor charged. I'm happy with the floor.
