April 2022 I had LVP installed I was happy with my choice but the installation crew I was not. Left a mess for me to clean up the brooms that they used did not sweep up any of the dust and debris. Used my private bathrooms without asking. Now I would say yes but there was urine on the toilet rim I'm a women and no men live in my house. Used my microwave to heat up lunch. Hand prints on interior doors not cleaned off, my dishwasher door would not close and transition strips on 2 doors were installed horrible. They came back 2 more times to remedy the issue. I've called last week about something else and no one has called me back about the issue. And I did speak to Janessa. I was referred by a friend in Orlando who had a different crew with no complaints. This is a Melbourne Fl. crew..I spent $8000 and I would NEVER EVER recommend 50FLOORS!!! read more

Turned out to be not as bad as I thought I would be. The pitch started canned, but time could be saved if panels from varying levels of quality were first presented instead of by color--I have absolutely no idea if I should have spent more money on a different level of quality--that was determined by sales rep. once we answered his criteria questions, i.e. Is it just the two of you? If we said no, he would have shown us different samples than what we saw. We have heavier furniture than most have in FL because we moved here from an overseas assignment where heavier woods and furnishings are used. Now, the basic one shown might not have been our "basic". If I could do it all over again, I would have liked to see the inside of his car to think independently during the presentation. I'd rather pick a sample that he wouldn't, then have it explained why it wouldn't work--When my order arrived and installed, I repeated quietly for 40 minutes, "Is this what I bought? It doesn't look like the sample? I might have selected different shades for different rooms or areas. One negative was assumptions were made about what was under the old rug from front to back of house. A wrong under padding choice was made for the cement block floor under the office--converted from porch addition. The office floor had same padding ordered as rest of the inside of the house. The office is like a Florida Room with its exposures, not like a totally enclosed room. Also, we live on a lake that requires porches to have better climate and "under- the-door fellowship protection between cement block floor and carpet. I can only imagine how this will or won't wear. The big plus is convenience. The big negative is I like to get into the nitty gritty details, and this format doesn't lend itself to that. read more

Wife and I wanted to rip out carpet and install laminate in two bedrooms in our house. Free installation and 30% off made 50 Floor very attractive. The sales person came over and gave us an oral price of $3200.. When the sales man left without leaving any paperwork. We didn't think anything of it until after the install and the first bill arrived and to our surprise we were now being charged $3900.. We have gone back and forth with 50 Floor about the discrepancy in price with them saying we signed the paperwork which stated $3900. Unfortunately because we were not left with paperwork at the day we agreed with the salesman we feel that something fishy happened. Right from the salesman's visit through the 2-day installation this entire project went smoothly and efficiently. The appointment times were spot on, which helped with our household's busy schedule. The staff did an exceptionally professional installation tiling my kitchen and they were were all very friendly & helpful even when I asked lots of questions pertaining to the installation. Service was great up until the time of installation. We had to coordinate the installation with Acorn Stair Lifts. It cost $500 to uninstall and reinstall and 50Floor was well aware of the coordination efforts. When the installer got here he waited until the Acorn tech was leaving to tell us he didn't have enough material and would have to reschedule. He was screaming that 50Floor never has decent people working up the contract and because they don't know how to measure this is a constant problem. I let him know that if he reschedules at this point, the money I just paid Acorn would most definitely come out of his pocket. He was very argumentative the whole time he was here and caused a considerable amount of stress to my family, including my elderly mother that needs the stairlift for mobility. This installer really soured the experience for us. Ultimately, he left without returning things to their place, including a door that he removed from the hinges. As soon as we filled out their questionnaire they left. ***UPDATE: As soon as they read this review, the 50Floor GM called. He said he will reimburse me the money we paid to Acorn due to the bad attitude of the contracted installer. read more

They were very responsive, professional and the product was of good quality. Price was very reasonable for the work I had done.

I had laminate installed throughout my home. Product was very nice and the two installers were excellent, but the Installation Manager (Carol) was terrible. She is rude and argumentative and offered zero assistance when a two day installation scheduled by 50Floor turned into a four day job. Nothing in my home caused the delay. The job was huge and 50Floor underestimated the time for a standard installation. I called Carol on day two and was told I never should have been told it was a two day installation. That is what 50Floor scheduled, not me! Asked for additional installers and was told no; "Two is all we are required to provide." I was not going to be home on what turned into day three and I had house guests arriving on what turned into day four. They did not care. They made their $17k, plus sale and now customer, suck it up! Carol should never be permitted to talk to customers. She is argumentative and her "Right Fighting" attitude simply escalates a problem. My suggestion is do business with another flooring company. There are many out there with similar product and pricing. Update I received a call from Santos at the 50 Floor Corporate Office. Santos was very apologetic and very interested in learning more about the details of my experience. He assured me that this was not the way 50 Floor does business and was embarrassed that this was my experience. I was very appreciative of his interest and I finally felt as though someone was empathetic to my situation and I was heard. Santos restored my faith in 50 Floor. Thank you. read more

So far, I am very unhappy with this company. While we liked the salesman a lot, we have had no communication with the company with weeks of delays. While we were assured of product in stock and delivery and installation within a week or 10 days, we had to call after two weeks and ask what was happening with our order. After being told, it was back-ordered and we'd hear by week's end, we didn't hear back. When I asked why we didn't receive a call to update us, as promised, we were told that they couldn't get through. What? I checked the contract and the number is accurate. We are told that we should hear today. If not, we want to cancel. We are 3 weeks outside the cancellation period, so I don't know how that will work. I will certainly lodge a complaint with the BBB and dispute the charge on our credit card. We feel this is terrible customer service. EDIT: I want to edit my review from earlier today. Within an hour of posting, we had a phone call from Adam apologizing for the glitch in communications and wanting to make our experience 'right.' He is sending us a gift card in apology and he gave us a date for the flooring install and assured us that he would be in communication. So I am happy that the company responded so quickly and we will go forward with what is, I hope, a beautiful floor. Edit: The flooring is complete and all issues were resolved to our complete satisfaction. We love our new vinyl floor and carpet. The installation went very well. We really liked the guys who worked on it. There was a slight measurement glitch: two of the hall closets were not measured for replacing the flooring, so those two areas still have the original carpet. Luckily closets don't show a lot of wear and tear. Another section of curved tile needed to be removed to accommodate molding that couldn't bend, but the installers were able to suggest that option and it worked out very well. read more

I agree with some of the customer reviews on the internet which state that they run great sales but do not deliver- my problem is the carpet they installed is nothing like they said it would be. Less than a year and it's already wearing out, looks like crap and smells. All they want to do is come over an re-stretch it, which it also needs, but that's pretty much it, after we paid thousands of dollars for it. I guess it's time to hit the BBB, Facebook and perhaps other options to inform people about my experience with 50 Floor, not to mention all my real estate customers, yes I am an agent, not good to treat me this way, bad choice on their part!! Did not perform to my satisfaction. Should've taken no more than two days. They didn't bring enough supplies and wanted to come back a third day. It was two o'clock and told me it was too late to get rest of supplies. Not acceptable. I had to call office to have them come back to complete job. They had to come back and complete toliets. Very sloppy the way they originally left my toliets. Floors look nice, but service overall was not good at all. read more

Always showed up as scheduled. Did have a problem caused by the original crew that installed the vinyl plank floor. After the GM came to look at the problem, he had another crew come and reinstall the floor. We are now very pleased with the floor and the response to correct the problem. read more

Make sure you are sitting by your phone when they are suppose to arrive, otherwise, they will just cancel your appointment. Scheduled appointment for between 6-8 and received confirmation and they call 11 minutes before there arrival time and texted 18 minutes afterwards and because I was in the middle of cooking and not right there to answer my phone they cancelled. Might want to call before you are suppose to be knocking on the door. read more

They run great ads offing big discounts but when they come out and give me a estimate they balloon the price so high that there is no discount. Out of three estimates I had on my home using the same material 50 floors were $2000 higher with there so called discounts than the other two estimates I received. When I question this with them all they wanted to do was down talk the other two estimates. Shop around don't fall for there false advertising. read more

Let me start by saying that 1 star is too good for this company! Their rating is actually a NEGATIVE 10!!! First, the two bafoons who completed the installation of 3 SMALL rooms took 10 hours! 10 hours! They were rude, disrespectful & most of all INCOMPETENT!!! They laid the carpet in pieces, AND the wrong direction in each room, so it appeared to be remnants. They had ZERO idea how to lay carpet. A monkey or 5 year old could have done better! Soooo...thank God we didn't complete the payment. It took 2 months and several tries before the installation was corrected. I can't imagine what would have happened, or not happened had we actually paid them in full! In the end, by literally divine intervention, we had a married couple installation team rip out the originally installed carpet and complete a reinstall...AND in 1/2 the time it took two guys! Soooo...ya know what they say...if you want it done correctly, send a woman! Hahaha! No, seriously, the gentleman & his lovely wife assistant who made the correction were amazing! Once they removed the 1st installed carpet they discovered that the jack-holes who completed the 1st installation were too lazy to remove our old padding in many places and install the new PURCHASED padding (which was a different grade), which is why it felt and looked like their were holes under the carpet! This is an AWFUL company! The problem is that they don't have in house installers, rather all of the installers are independent contractors. However, the only positive reviews this company will receive is when a team like the one who actually completed the job correctly in the end installs the flooring the first time around. That team was fantastic! But they have zero to do with 50Floor, rather 50Floor is lucky to have them on their list of installers! However, I wouldn't take your chance with 50Floor! Contract was the old flooring would be hauled away the same day and they not only didn't haul away the floor the same day, they are refusing to haul it away at all - buyer beware. Update after giving this review they finally hauled off the old carpet - sad that they were more concerned about yelp review than doing the right thing on the day of flooring install. read more

I had an appointment today from 1-3 p.m. for an estimate and quote. I was told that the representative would call 30 minutes before arriving. I called the office at 3 p.m. since no one called or showed up. They have no recall of me in the system (name, email, or phone) even when I told them the date that I made the appointment and email that they sent me to verify appointment. The representative said she would give me $150 off but she seemed impatient and ready to get off the phone with me. If this is a representation of their service, I'll pass. read more

Update: changed rating since job is finished and looks good. They brought a different trim that is more flush between the tile and the wood floor. More acceptable. Installers did a good job. Communication from the local Company could be better. Old post: Can only give them two stars as the job is not finished. We are still waiting for the trim. When they installed the floor they didn't have the right trim. They had a few pieces and put them down. They glued them down and put masking tape over them and told us to wait 2 days. After two days we took the tape off and called them to tell them that the trim was unacceptable since it was not flush with the other flooring and someone could trip over it. We were told that was the only one the manufacturer made and that the rest of the trim should be in in 7 days. After 2 weeks of waiting I called and they said it should be in. Someone would call me to schedule the install. It was scheduled for today. It is now 7:30 pm and no one called or showed. We paid one third of the price already and we will let them deliver the trim when they get around to it since we paid for it. But we are going to have to buy our own that will be flush and safe and my husband will install it himself. I will update my review if they get their act together. read more

I previously wrote a bad review because of ripples in our carpet the we had installed by 50 Floor, and after reading over the warranty I saw they only warrant their material and workmanship for 1 year, and it had been over 1 year when we first saw the ripples appear. Once I posted the review I received a call from the Manager at the local 50 Floor and he told me that they will re-stretch the carpet any time for the life of the carpet. We made an appointment and they came out and re-stretched the carpet and now it is back to looking the way it should. I am still not shure why it had to be re-stretched, whether it is the carpet stretched or was not properly installed in the first place. I have never heard of people having to have carpet re-stretched after it has been installed. But 50 Floor did as they said they would and took care of the problem. read more

Worst experience ever! My mother wanted to purchase floors for her house and after seeing the commercial and our neighbor recommended them we called to set up an appointment. I tried to request the manager who sold my neighbor flooring but was told he doesnt work there anymore and they would send out someone just a good. Well that didnt happen! The guy that came out was very weird and was telling us all these stories about his "ugly wife" and how his dog would kill animals in the woods. We finally picked out a floor, well mom wanted wood but he said we cant have wood becuase the dog would ruin it so he priced me on vinyl. the price was over $18 a foot!!!! When I asked for a breakdown of the price we were told "we dont do that". Seriously? You expect me to pay a price you pulled out of the air?!?! We kindly asked him to leave and all of a sudden the price magically dropped? We had to ask him 5 times to leave and after he left we called the office to complain and they hung up on my mother multiple times. i will tell all my friends to not bother calling these people, you are better off going to a local store like I did and got the floor for half of what they wanted! read more

Stay away. I had carpet and wood installed about 8 months ago and the installation was a nightmare. The sales rep Bryce said the job would be done in 1 day including the stairs but it ended up taking 3 days and I had to take more time off of work. The manager Chris did come out on the evening and looked over the entire job to make sure it was done right and apologized for a miscommunication with the sales rep. I called the office a couple days ago to ask questions about my finance and the woman who answers the phone was nothing but rude! I think her name was Mary or Michelle I'm not sure but she was so rude to me. All I wanted to know was the balance and she said "how should I know you need to call Wells Fargo and hung up". I called back to speak to the manager and after leaving him a voicemail never got a call back. Wel thanks for nothing 50 floors I already called Wells Fargo and they helped me. From now on I'll buy floors from Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

50 Flooring - Orlando, FL I had a pulmonary issue, was hospitalized and was told that my carpet must come up. I meet with the nice salesman in July and I made a down payment on laminate flooring with 50 flooring. They called me and told me the material had been received and scheduled an appointment on August 2nd to install and told me it would probably take two days. Everything in my house was covered with plastic including coaches, chairs, dressers, the Kitchen etc. The workers arrive about 10:30 with the laminate in the back of their Van. The took approximately 2 hours to pull up the carpet and the temperature here in Central FL was at 92 degrees with the laminate still in the back of their Van. They installed the laminate and finished by the end of the day. Under instruction of my Doctor, I needed to remain out of the house for 5 days with an air purifier running to take care of any spores. I returned on the 5th day in the evening and removed the plastic from everything. It was not until the next day that I realized that the flooring was not flat or smooth and I could actually click each board with my fingernails because they were not meeting together properly. I had nylon hose on and it snagged my hose!!! I contacted 50 Floor. They sent installers to inspect. They said it was ok. Unsatisfied, I called again for the GM and he came out to inspect (which he is not longer with them) and said, of course it was ok. After contacting Home Depot, Lowe's and many independent flooring contractors, they told me they NEVER install any flooring without bringing it to the home at least 3 days in advance so the wood would acclimate itself OF WHICH 50 FLOORING DOES NOT DO!!! I also contacted Mohawk, maker of the laminate and they sent me Installation Instructions. There were certain stipulations on temperature and humidity no matter what mm the wood is. I truly believe that with the hot temperature that day and the fact that the wood was not delivered beforehand, that is why the laminate planks did not lock together properly. I am extreme unsatisfied with this floor and extreme angry at 50 Floor because they have refused to rectify the problem. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!! I spent an exorbitant amount for flooring that is not right!!! And everyone that has seen my flooring, including contractors, agrees with me that this installation is not right. 50 floor came today & I met with Adam the sales representative. He was absolutely amazing. I had had a major competitor come yesterday which left a bad taste in my mouth. Not only did the sales rep from the competitor act like he didn't want to be there to even do measurements, he wasn't very knowledgeable at all. He acted like the price he gave me was some kind of favor & he was really having to wheel & deal. It was such a turn off & I was expecting the same kind of thing from 50 floor. Then came Adam from 50 floor. He was very nice & polite. He brought all kinds of samples & really took his time. He was very knowledgeable of not only the products but the company as a whole. He stressed many times that it was about quality & 50 floor did not ever cut corners. My main focus was price as is with most consumers. He said before the measurements that they are not the cheapest & not the most expensive. They are in the middle because again they won't cut corners. Everything is final price, no mark ups, no additional fees, just a flat fee & of course financing was offered if I needed. I was very impressed. It was well within my budget & at least $3,000 less then the competitor from the day before. I'm so truly happy I decided to go with this company. I wanted to leave this review in case someone is having to go thru the same thing. Something that I thought was going to be stressful ended up being actually pretty easy. read more
