We ordered a couple Cabernets and cocktails (BTW...a lot to choose from) and some appetizers. A big house salad and 2 trays of fried calamari. All tasted very good! Then for our meals...we ordered Chilean Sea bass with grilled vegetables and sweet potato fries. We got grilled shrimp with rice...and some grilled salmon with risotto. All were prepared perfectly And were delicious. Only wish the sea bass portion was a little larger. After dinner we ordered some espressos and cappuccinos With some dessert. All were excellent! Had never been here before and had no preconceived ideas about it so went for restaurant week Feb 2026. It was amazing. For apps we had the muscles. A huge portion. Hubby got a salad which was filled with good stuff. For dinner, he got the seafood pasta which was huge and delicious. Friends got the pork chop which was cooked right and stuffed. I got the strip which was very tasty and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Dessert was a couple of tiramisus and flan. All huge and delicious. Wait staff was very nice. Plus we didn't feel like we were rushed at all and it was a packed Saturday night. The place is pretty and the tables are spread nicely. You can talk no problem and the bathrooms were clean. Came here today with a couple of friends for Restaurant Week lunch. It's quite a good deal at two courses for $29.95. I had the eggplant rollatini appetizer (quite tasty) and the seafood over pasta (which was incredible -- an enormous portion with tons of seafood). Deducting one star because it's pretty noisy in there (very large room) and because even though there were lots of servers and busboys circulating (all of whom were very pleasant), the service wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. read more

I was here on a weeknight for dinner with a group of HS moms here and they were so accomadating. Let's start with parking, they have plenty of parking in their own lot. They accept reservations. They will split our bill individually. Dinner comes with fresh bread and butter. All these are already wins. The staff is friendly and mindful. Refilling or water, checking to see if we need anything else, asking how our meal was. I had the chicken parmesian and it was fantastic and delicious. It comes with your choice of side and my fresh vegetables was fresh! Not frozen or canned stuff. My friend had the steak tacos and she licked her plate clean. We decided to try 512 Bistro after seeing it listed on Hudson Valley Restaurant week. Wow, what a meal we had, probably one of the best we ever had during these promotions. The portion sizes were amazing, we started with the Cozza del Golfo and the 512 Bistro salad. The mussels were plentiful and nice and large, the white wine sauce was excellent, the salad was also very good. Next up the mains, we had the Chicken via Roma and the 512 Bistro Seafood pasta. Wow both of these were excellent but the star was the seafood pasta! Linguine was al dented and we couldn't believe the amount of seafood on the dish! Desserts were had were the Tiramisu and the Rice pudding, both again were a great way to end the meal. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. read more

Recently dined here to celebrate my birthday! All staff was so friendly & welcoming upon our arrival. We had made a reservation beforehand and didn't have to wait at all. We were quickly escorted to our table- we were seated in the back room. I had the 512 Bistro Pasta minus the mushrooms and provolone cheese. Absolutely delicious! Both of my parents got the chicken scarpariello, which they also loved. My other two family members each got the salmon panino (one with regular fries & the other with upgraded sweet potato fries). The panini was quite substantial in size, so much so that they each took a half home! We were all too full for dessert, but the staff knew it was my birthday. They came out with a decorated plate with blueberry flan and sang to me. They also had a singing candle thing, which was a nice extra touch! Absolutely delicious food! Was attending for a special event with pre-made menu, so I can't speak to the experience of a typical customer. My favorite part of the meal was the Chicken Francese, the house salad and caesar salad were as expected (but still delicious). The portion was incredibly large and the chicken was nice and juicy with a delicious lemon/white wine sauce. I sampled a bit of my sister's pasta dish (rigatoni in meat sauce), and that was even more delicious. If I ever found myself in Briarcliff Manor, I would absolutely come back. read more

Stopped in for a Saturday Brunch. Weekend brunch menu is nice and comes with soup/salad, choice of drink and meal for a great price. I ordered the autumn squash soup, house margarita and chicken dish topped with mozzarella cheese, peppers, etc. side of mashed potatoes and vegetables. Just home from a Mother's Day brunch with the family. I was very disappointed to not have any brunch options today even though they usually have a Sat & Sun brunch until 4pm. We were told it ended at 1pm today due to it being Mother's Day...our meals were very good but it was not what I wanted at all and prices were quite high. Service was very good which I appreciated. It never feels good to be charged more simply because it's a holiday. Will definitely keep this in mind for the future. read more

A friend and I visited 512 Bistro Bar Restaurant on a Sunday night during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, and it was an experience to remember. Neither of us had been there before, but we decided to take a chance--and we're so glad we did! I made a same-day reservation and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and welcoming the staff were from the very start. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, with a unique decor featuring paintings from major cities and a ceiling adorned with red and orange squares that gave the space a warm and inviting feel. The service was truly outstanding. Our water glasses were kept full all evening without ever needing to ask, and the pacing between courses was spot on--smooth, relaxed, and never rushed. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, always nearby when needed. As for the food, everything we had was exceptional. - For my appetizer, I had a Restaurant Week special salad--fresh mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red beets, and goat cheese tossed in a balsamic dressing, beautifully garnished with a purple orchid. It was not only visually stunning but also generous in portion and full of flavor. - My entrée was the Salmon, broiled to perfection and topped with fresh crab in a light lemon white wine sauce. It was served with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and crisp, fresh broccoli. Every element was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. - My friend ordered the Pollo Con Portobello--a tender chicken breast topped with portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, zucchini, and melted mozzarella in a rich cognac reduction sauce. She was equally impressed, and both of us ended up taking leftovers home. - Of course, we saved room for dessert. I ordered the homemade tiramisu, and although I'm not usually a fan, this one was amazing! It was light, perfectly balanced with coffee flavor, and came with fresh strawberries and cream drizzled in chocolate--an elegant and delicious finish. My friend had the crème brûlée and said it was delightful as well. In short, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. This restaurant is absolutely fabulous! The Alaska crab cake and clams casino were off the hook. The peach bbq shrimp dish was so delicious. You couldn't really taste either of them because the flavor was not over powering yet it was there. The prime rib was delicious although we would have preferred it without the gravy. We used to go here often when it was the Briars, it had become stale and outdated however. The good folks at Terre Rustica(down the street) and one of our favorite restaurants took over and livened it up some. The menu is a Latin/fusion vibe that just hits right. We were met at the door by Jose whom we recognized from Terre Rustica, he is a really nice guy. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, pleasant and very helpful. We started with some cocktails snd dove into some fried calamari with jalapeño and Thai chili sauce. The light fry on the calamari made them crisp yet tender. Delicious. I opted for the prime rib at the suggestion of our waiter, it came with bacon mashed potatoes (yum!!) and asparagus. My wife wife went for one of the many specials offered, lobster and crab ravioli. They came in a creamy pink sauce smothered with small shrimp and scallops. Truly delicious. For dessert - Nutella churros - just wow! They were heavenly. Pricing is on par with other restaurants in the area and not out of bounds by any means. We will go back often and explore the diverse menu options. They may have just stolen us from Terre Rustica. It's a nice space but I think they're suffering from an identity crisis because the decor is a garage sale of random things and they should definitely consult somebody about finding some kind of focus for the decor. If the food was worth mentioning, I would've done it. First calamari was a little rubbery. They don't give you the option of marinara sauce. They serve it with a chili sauce like you're doing too much. You're trying too hard and you're not that unique or special. Do what you're good at For a half empty room. The service was trash frankly. This place doesn't know if it wants to be American or Italian or French and again the decor reflects that. Anyway, I went there once that's all I can say about it Been there, done that. read more

Make sure you double and triple check the check, we went there last night, my wife ordered one of the special pasta's (pappardelle with lamb Rague) the waiter placed to wrong order (Seafood pasta), when we questioned it he blamed us and then informed us the pappardelle was out of stock. We re-ordered a separate dinner. When the check came not only, we charged for 3 pasta dinners, but the Portabella Mushroom app was over charged by $10.00 (Menu had for $15.99 bill had it for $25.99). The app was in the computer as the wrong price which indicated to me that this was not a mistake. I will never set foot in there again; I don't care good the food is, if a restaurant is overcharging, they are not honest. How many people don't look at the bill and are overcharged. read more

My family recently had a dinner party here, +/- 30 people. What a wonderful experience! The wait staff were all fabulous, very attentive and quick turnaround on drink orders. The appetizers and salad course were served family style - we had two types of salad and three appetizers. All were delicious and there was plenty to go around. I came to this place on a Friday night. This used to be the old restaurant called the briars. A new owner took over this restaurant, and made it a really elegant place with great food. Went for lunch earlier in the week. Service was very attentive and exceedingly polite. My husband had a burger which he liked very much; I had a turkey wrap, which was excellent (so many have tortillas that taste basically raw; here, it was toasted and what a huge difference that made). They were so happy to say we are not charging you for your burger. We didn't eat it. We paid for wine and ordered Chinese food from the restaurant. The bartenders are lively the owner is a fool!
