Good place to stop at when staying in Pahrump! We went on a Friday around 7pm and it had the locals at the bar. We walked in and were almost immediately greeted by the female bartender. They told us to sit anywhere and promptly brought out some menus. Overall the gentleman and woman who served us were very kind. When we sat down, we were brought warm chips and flavorful salsa. We saw another table with a margarita pitcher so we got one of those. For food, we ordered a tostada plate and carnitas tacos. Both very flavorful, filling, and delicious. The margarita pitcher was great as well! When we looked on Yelp we were thrown off by the inside but the ratings pulled us in. Happy it did! The decor of everything seemed random at first. As our experience went on and fajitas came out, we realized it was like a Chilis Tex Mex vibe. Loved it. Would recommend and come back! read more

My husband and I live in Vegas but have friends that own a tattoo shop in Pahrump. We come out every once in a while and like to try different places for lunch. We found this place on Yelp. It was in the middle of the neighborhood definitely not a place we were expect it to be but it was packed so that was a good sign. They had live music and probably one of the best bands I've heard in a long time the food was surprisingly really great Never really know when you go to a place you've never tried before. I got the Mexican pizza with Carne Asada and it was amazing. My husband got a taco and a chili Colorado enchilada and both were really good. read more

We were staying in the middle of nowhere in Pahrump for our Death Valley weekend trip,  Yelp brought us here and we had a really nice dinner. Just a warning: smoking is allowed inside, which coming from LA we are always shocked and forget whenever we visit anywhere in Nevada. There was also a live band Saturday night so it can get very loud. Not a place for dinner conversation. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, she was very sweet and our service was excellent. We ordered quite a few items to share for the 5 of us. The highlight was definitely the street tacos, Tim's tots, the flautas that pretended to be taquitos, and the California burrito. I would skip the mile high nachos and be sure to ask for salsa and guacamole if you order a quesadilla.  After a long day of hiking, we just wanted a nice big meal to put us to sleep and 5280 definitely did that!  Delicious & 4.5 stars! Don't be fooled by the less than 10 reviews on Yelp (as of Feb 2022). They have many good reviews on Google. read more

We went here to learn country dance steps on Thurs. class 6-7pm then it's open dance & music! Barbara the instructor is mellow & knows all genres of dancing with good music! This place is large with dance area, pool tables, arcade & dine-in seating, clean not smokey at all. Tostada Thurs are deeelish! Each day of the week they have something going on a great locals place! We loved all the meals we ate there! read more

Got to try them at their food truck first was very good. Loved talking with the owners. They are super nice. Once they opened this location it was nice to have a place to go have their yummy food. Even though they still had some work to do cause just opening lots of room for potential. They have alot of good ideas from music and specials they are planning to do. Can't wait. Good prices good food. They have a juke box, getting live music, pool tables, and a bar. Good hangout spot. My family and I love going there for dinner. Definitely can't wait til they get some Carnitas! Need some out here. Definitely check them out and have some yummy food. Lots of space and room to have a good time. read more

The food here is good and reliable. Nothing is amazing or special but they do the classics well. We got a Mexican pizza, quesadilla, and elotes. However the ambiance is a bit rowdy and lots of smoking smell / no separation so the atmosphere definitely needs major work. read more

Sonny and Nikki are terrific as are all of their employees! We held our 50th wedding anniversary here and all enjoyed our event. They have a large array of foods to order and we have yet to find anything we don't like. The bar is well stocked and they can make you some fun drinks. They also have a room off of the main area with games for kids! read more

We have only been here one time. The food was ok, not great but not bad either. The service was absolutely terrible, some of the worst service we have ever had any where. The waitress was more interested in flirting with the only other table there rather than serving us. I don't know if we will ever go back or not. If we do I am sure it will be a long time. read more

Sonny and Nikky were great, super friendly, talked to everyone, very open. This is the first time we have visited and we are surely going to be back. The place was larger than expected and best of all CLEAN. Restrooms were clean, thank you so much. Was totally blown away by 5280!! Being new to Pahrump, my wife and I are looking for new and exciting places to hang, have a drink and get some good food. 5280 has it all. Now granted it was a Monday night, but the place was hoppin. We tried the Street Tacos and a couple of Hard Tacos while dining in, Delicious!! I placed an order for pickup and waited an hour to go pick up my food and when I got my colossal taco home I found three small tacos with the wrong meat in my take out box and paid over $25 for them and green Chilli. Kind of no wonder why people stick to corporate restaurants read more

+1 for the area. We came for a late lunch / early dinner on a Sunday. It was not super crowded but already getting a little lively, with still a very family friendly vibe. The complimentary salsa has a fine kick, and the chips are delicious (although a little too cold when we received them). My partner said the chimichangas were the best he has had ever had. I had a sampling of all the tacos and torta and enjoyed them all. Service was very warm, attentive, and prompt. Restaurant was quite spacious and not too cold (or warm), the latter which is a common problem for me as a woman. (Lol.) Bathrooms were clean. THIS PLACE IS A MUST STOP WHEN IN PAHRUMP! We spend the night here after our drive from Joshua Tree to Death Valley. The food is outstanding! From the chips and salsa, to margaritas, our entrees, and even desserts! This happened to be a live music night so it was so much fun! Both owners came out and introduced themselves to us. This is such a family friendly environment but also a good time for adults to kick it back with drinks. They even have pool tables, arcade machines like PacMan, and a jukebox! The food sucks! The people that think it is good must smoke so many cigarettes that they do not know what good food tastes like. The only thing not fried is the quesadilla. Be ready to passively smoke about a pack an hour while you are there. Beware, if you order a dish that needs sides, they are going to charge you for everything. They do not have any decent beers in house, top dog at this place is probably Heineken. I ordered a bloody mary and was served a Modelo with some (ketcup?) red stuff in it. Then they fired up a steam cleaner about 15' from me while I was eating the garbage food, and that was the last straw. 5280 must be slang for TRASH!!! Save your money and go to Roberto's and pick up a 6 pack of beer at the gas station. Shame on this place!!!!! read more

Draft beer is ridiculously priced at $6.50, I could understand that price if it was a craft beer but it was domestic! We ordered the special plate but got charged original price!
