The new Marias Tacos in Coyotes Den is amazing. At first I was skeptical but hey I love a hole in the wall place. The food was freshly made no frozen and heated food here. I had the Cubana Torta and my wife had the Chicken Rolled Tacos. First my Torta was so huge and full of steak with a fresh soft roll. The rolled chicken tacos were full of chicken breast and were freshly made. The staff were friendly and do yourself a favor and check it out. The prices are really high for the quality of the food. Customer Service has always been good. When did they start charging a 3% service charge ( ridiculous) if I had known that I would not had left a tip. Plus charged 1.82 tax . For two traditional burrito carne asada was a whopping price 28.20 . If you're going to charge that make sure the quality of the food is good. Very unhappy customer. I recently moved to Pahrump and heard about this place through word of mouth. I will start with service and cleanliness, those were fine. I ordered an enchilada style carne asada red burrito. It was mediocre at best, the enchilada sauce was almost none existent, the meat was dry and overcooked. The ratio of rice, meat and beans was disproportionate. These were some of the best nachos I've had. We ordered to go and the box was so full the lid didn't close. There was meat on every bite and boy was it tender. The Verde sauce was really good too. Taquitos were incredibly mediocre. I had beef taquitos that I can only liken to fried tortilla tubes with avocado salsa and sour cream covered in loose cheese. My friend got the flauta which was super good and clearly the thing to order here, except between our orders they made churros in the fryer and everything had slight cinnamon taste. Another friend had a burrito that was pretty good. Enchilada cheese wasn't melted inside. I was really saddened by this restaurant, the ingredients tasted of quality, the food was served steaming hot, but it was missing that spicy flair you expect from Mexican food (at least I do). I ordered a burrito and the ingredients were not mixed at all, I got all potato, then all eggs, then the sour cream and NO salsa!! Its like they wrapped both my husbands and my burrito the wrong way, and forgot the Pico. However, the fries we ordered on the side were hot, crispy, and fresh. Stopped in by happenstance. I needed to go to the bathroom and this is the first one in town. As I was looking for snacks, I saw a man waiting for food. Huge burritos here!...and friendly fast service. Their hard shell Beef Taco is a little light on filling but it still is very tasty. The Breakfast Burritos: Ham,Eggs and Cheese, Potatoes,eggs and Cheese and several others I've tried are huge and definitely worth the money. I added Ham to the potato,egg and cheese burrito for a dollar extra could do bacon instead if you prefer. The BRC Burrito (beans,rice,cheese) is small but its only a dollar and on their dollar menu...the normal priced Burritos are Huge and Filling. This is what you call a hidden gem. It is inside the store of the mobile gas station at the corner of 160 and Winery Road. The food is made fresh and they have wonderful choices at more than reasonable prices, with very friendly service. Chicken, pork, carne asada, cheese and vegetarian options are all available. They have the most delicious tacos, flautas, chillaquilles, quesadillas, burritos and more, all incredibly good. You order on the spot and it takes about five minutes, 10 minutes at the most, for everything to be ready to go. This is easily some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. My friend, who is a native of Mexico, explained that she has never has churros this incredible outside of Mexico, and these taste exactly like those in Mexico, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're absolutely perfect. They are open at seven in the morning and close at 7 PM from Monday through Saturday. On Sunday they open a little later in the day and are open until 6 PM. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all amazing here and everything is to go. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves fresh great food. I read the previous comments about this restaurant. The service is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly. One documented that they barely got any beef with their food. We have ordered a cheese quesadilla with carne asada as well as carne asada and chicken street tacos, plus more. They are loaded with carne asada, chicken, or whatever type of meat choice you order. Maria's is a little gem hidden inside a gas station/convenience store. Like many good things, I only discovered it because someone was raving about their good food. On my first visit I had one of their ham, egg, cheese and potato breakfast burritos. It was delicious and as big as a man's pillow (enough for two meals perhaps).
