We had our medical service dog with us and were the only people in the entire restaurant. When we walked in we were asked if our dog was a service dog, said yes, ordered our food and sat down near the door. From our table we could very clearly hear the cook in the back venting to the waitress about how anyone can just claim their dog is a service dog, clearly directed at us. It was uncomfortable to say the least. When the waitress came back out we offered to eat outside or show our documentation, she said she didn't need to see it and was fine with the dog staying inside, which we appreciated. To her credit, the waitress ended up being really warm and we actually had a nice conversation with her. She mentioned that only 31 people live in Shoshone full time and that most of the staff commutes in from Pahrump, which gave us a little more context for the town. The food was on the pricier side but I get it, running a restaurant in a place this small where you never quite know who's passing through has to be a challenge. The bathrooms were clean. Honestly though, we just wanted to finish our meal and get out. The experience left us feeling uncomfortable despite the waitress doing her best to turn it around.

But it was no warmer than 60 degrees on the main floor. Maybe colder. I get that it's 110 degrees outside but I'd rather be in that heat for three hours than freezing my freaking ass off. My friends agreed they were chilled to the bone. The cheap folding chairs (I mean... have you seen the ticket prices? REALLY??) added insult to injury.

We were approached by one of Crawl LV's promoters and we were presented with an opportunity to check out their bar crawl that evening. After listening and checking out their website we knew that this is what we needed to do tonight. We arrived at the check in, got our tickets scanned, wristbands put on & the night began! I've been to Vegas before and have always wanted to bar hop but it was never worth it because of all the cover fees the bars charge to get in on the weekend, but now I'm so happy I can. Tickets cost $40 each and includes free drink at each bar, no cover fees, and no waiting in any line what so ever. Crawl LV defiantly has changed how I will plan my nights out next time I visit.
