This place was super awesome and the workers are nice. However I am highly upset and considering leaving them. The reason why is because while on vacation in Estes park. A crazy delusional woman made up a lie that my dog bit her. (I offered her to take her to the closest med center, she refused. I asked two more times. She also refused. I asked to get a picture of her alleged bite. She refused. She said "I'm not taking my pants off for you" even though she claimed she was bit in the calf. She went home and said all was good. She just didn't want rabies. I showed her my dogs vax tag. Which had 5280 vet on it. She then the next day decided to call them and say she got bit. With no proof. Only a bogus allegation. This vets office gave up all my information and had the animal cops harassing me for months. Very disappointing they don't respect their owners privacy. Would def recommend another facility. They then responded "we cooperate with all animal agencies" even though no proof was offered other than someone's word. So their saying basically I could call animal control. Accuse some random dog of a crime. And when someone comes knocking they will share everything with no questions asked. Not a good look. read more

This has become our go-to vet since they came to the neighborhood. Love Tender Touch but 5280's location can't be beat. So far they've been extremely nice, effective, and caring. Beautiful space too. Really nice to have them in the area. read more

Dr. Leach and her team are absolutely incredible, I've truly never experienced such thorough and attentive vet care. Not only is she kind and clearly passionate about her work in person, but she took the time to follow up individually to check on our dog after surgery and make sure she's doing okay. They truly treat your pets like family, I cannot recommend them enough! read more

the literal worst vet clinic I've ever been to. So difficult to get ahold of. Never want to see the pet, always refer myself and others who go to the vet ER. Instead of being available and caring for my dog, they care about what can make them the most money. It is absolutely disgusting. The staff here are amazing! I brought my sick kitty in to be seen and they took such great care of her. Usually my cat is so stressed at the vet and when I bring her home she hides. She was happy and calm when I picked her up and didn't seem upset when I brought her in again for another procedure. Dr. Leach is fantastic! The best vet I've ever had! read more

New to town, looking for a vet. I called several places and 5280 was able to get me in on short notice for a Saturday afternoon appointment. I brought my 17 year old cat in because she wasn't doing well. I really appreciated that I was taken to the exam room as soon as I arrived and the tech, Alyssa, was very nice and took down notes on the cat's medical history. The vet, Dr. Hein, was great! She called me the next day (on Sunday) to update me on the status of the lab results. The visit was affordable, especially with the new client discount. I look forward to bringing my other cat in for a check-up soon. The hours are also very convenient, open late on Monday/Thursday. read more

We were a little nervous dropping our dog off at the door for her vet appointment. (All Colorado vets aren't allowing owners to go in with their animals.) Our pup is a rescue dog and has bad anxiety in new places. The staff did so amazing with her! They called us to give us our options of vaccinations and tests before they did anything. The vet then talked to us on the phone about her exam and took extra time to explain everything. Everyone was very friendly! Will recommend to friends! read more

The entire staff is great here! You will get great support and assistance from the front desk, to the technicians to the vets. We noticed this place as it was being built and when we got a puppy it was a no brainer not to check it out. Also the location was great since it is really close to us. The care is really phenomenal. I love Dr. Marr and I tried to get him for every appointment. I've had other vets here too who are also great to my little pup! They really treat each dog as an individual and remember them! I took my dog in for separation anxiety and stomach issues due to the anxiety. I was told that I need to exercise my dog more and buy her puzzles to give her mental stimulation (which is not the issue), the issue is I had to pay $120 for the visit for them to tell me to exercise my dog who is suffering from anxiety as if I already don't exercise her. I was also told to purchase supplements and a pheromone collar through their website which was another $80. I ordered these items over a week ago and still have not received them and my dog has continued to suffer while I'm trying to find solutions to her anxiety. I told them she was experiencing diarrhea and they suggested I bring in a fecal sample that would be another $60 instead of doing the sample during her visit last week. After spending $200, my dog is still suffering and sick from the anxiety and there are no clear solutions as to getting her better. All this vet has done is lie and take my money instead of actually helping my dog to become happy and healthy again. The vet techs and veterinarian were very nice, but as I said there is no real solution to my dog's health. I will no longer be taking my dog here as I feel it is unsafe and a scam. read more

I cannot say enough about this vet office! If you are local in Denver I HIGHLY recommend bringing your fur-babies here. I have an 80lb, very shy/skittish labradoodle, Griffin, who is extremely difficult when it comes to the vet. The entire staff, beginning with the front desk, was incredibly welcoming and made sure my boy was comfortable and at ease. Dr. Marr was patient, kind, and understanding. He and the vet tech took their time with Griff, gave him all the treats and loving, and waited until Griff was ready for the vaccinations. The establishment is extremely clean, appointments are readily available, and I continue to be surprised by the affordable pricing. 10/10, welcome to the neighborhood. I had a really amazing experience with 5280 Veterinary Care. I took my 10 year old cat in to get some dental work. My cat ended up having to get 5 teeth pulled. Dr. Leach and the staff were so great to us. I've been to a few vets in the city in the last 10 years, and haven't had the same successful results as I have at 5280 Vet care. My cat wasn't afraid to go back for her appointment, and I feel comfortable continuing my business with them. So happy to have found a vet I can trust. I highly recommend. read more

The best veterinary care we have experienced. They really care about your pets. They got us in quickly for necessary shots for our dog, took great care of her when she had a double ear infection, pleasantly dealt with our mean tempered cat, and offered wonderful advice when it comes to moving across the country with pets. The vet told me that spaying my kitten would be a high risk procedure and then said I would have to make an appointment with her to discuss further as she did not have time to discuss without me coming in person to make sure they could even do the spay properly. This is very bad service and feels like an effort to get me to pay an appointment for any information on the spaying process...very disappointing and I decided to go with another vet as a result. read more

My one dog has had some health issues for a while. I feel the staff at 5280 Veterinary Care has been very responsive to my concerns and serious in trying to find out what is ailing her. This is a great place. They seem to care for my kitty as much as I do, and their service is outstanding. I had a friend who referred me who ended up having to have her aged kitty put down here and they were fantastic at walking her through this with 100% honesty yet with great compassion which is hard to find. Loved my experience here. They made it very welcoming and did all they could to make my pup feel safe and cared for. The vet and vet tech got down on the floor for the exam part, which I always appreciate, and spent time talking with me about her care. They also trimmed her nails. I was hoping this would be our forever Vet but unfortunately when I took my sick kitten into this Vet yesterday evening it did not go well. We were brought back to an exam room, and we could hear the receptionist tell the vet tech that they had someone waiting. It was obvious that she was unaware of what was scheduled, even though the appointment had been scheduled for days. Her response was "Oh F$*#" During intake the vet tech asked us if we wanted to do X-rays and blood work, when I told her I didn't know she got frustrated and responded with unnecessary attitude. It was clear she was trying to gage how much longer our appointment would take. The situation did not improve when the Vet arrived. She seemed equally as disinterested in being there. We agreed to do the expensive blood panel testing and medications they recommended, regardless of our experience because our poor kitty was in pain and we just wanted to make him feel better. They took him in the back where we could hear him crying and screaming- this was the worst experience. After about 10 minutes the Vet Tech came back in and told us that we would have to put our 3lb kitten under anesthesia if we wanted to do the blood work. I said no, because it was obvious that they were incompetent and just did not care at all. When I took him into another Vet this morning they drew blood with no issue. I would not recommend this Vet to anyone. Very dissappointed in the level of care and professionalism. read more

I have had an excellent experience with 5280 Vet Care so far. I took my 2.5 yr old adopted German Shepherd in November for his first visit w/ his new parents. He is an anxious little boy, but the front staff, tech, and doc all treated him so sweet, as if he were their own. The vet was with us for a good amount of time and answered all of our questions, without ever making us feel like any of them were dumb (which I'm sure some were). I did not feel anything was overpriced, or more than should be expected, and the follow-up tech appointment for vaccine booster was free! I've had to reschedule with them a couple times too, and they have been more than accommodating. Thank you! read more

I took my dog here (beagle/Chihuahua) for a general check up and a second time for a teeth cleaning. Dr.Marr and Amber were both great and friendly and we've had a pleasant overall visit both times we've been here. The main appointment was for a teeth cleaning where they have to put her under anesthesia, which I was a little nervous about, but the treatment went well and her teeth came out looking great. She was in deseprate need of a deep clean and they took all the plaque and tartar that was built up. I would recommend anyone to take their dog here and will definitely go back for future needs. read more

I recently got a new kitten and 5280 Vet has been great about getting me in last minute when I was worried about some health concerns that she came with from the rescue. Dr. Leach has been absolutely amazing so far. She has given me thorough explanations as well as options for treatment understanding that budgets need to be taken into consideration. I have also appreciated that she has wanted to try the least invasive treatment first as there is no need to overwhelm a little kitten's body. I will definitely be bringing my other older cat here for any veterinary treatment he needs as well. read more
