However I think they may have shot themselves in the foot with the groupon idea, because it's obvious they are so booked up that although slick, the operation feels like you're on a conveyor belt. Booked in by one person, sat down by another, hair consultation, treatment by yet another person... you get the picture. I understand that they need to get everyone seen but it felt terribly impersonal and I felt that if I'd asked for anything more drastic than a trim, they'd have been rushed to fit it in. Also, I didn't notice any difference after the treatment - but then I'm not sure what difference I was supposed to see, as noone explained to me exactly what it was. I didn't get a head massage when shampooing either. Sad face. I won't be back because it's expensive and they didn't sell ithemselves well on this occasion.

The staff were really nice and attentive, they give a 15 min head massage while they are shampooing your hair (ooo ya!) and the seats while having your hair washed are massaging as well... I almost fell asleep it was that good and relaxing. When I left I can honestly say, my hair has NEVER looked better. I ended up with a pretty standard Bob, which is still nice, but not my ideal. I had detailed pictures of what I wanted but the hairdresser wanted me to "name" the haircut. Like short-angled bob or something like that. She seemed to have a bunch of hair cuts memorised in her head but had trouble letting her creative side take over. But once again, I probably should go to a more experienced salon and hair stylist if I'm expecting a true hair style. There seemed to be about 50% men and 50% women getting their hair cut on the Saturday I went. Definitely a good deal for the price.

I was booked in with a Russian gent called Edward. I have extremely dry, curly hair. Most stylists want to chop inches off and layers in to my hair in a bid to make it more manageable. Not Edward. He recognised that my hair is extremely thick and that layers would make it more unmanageable. He knew that cutting 5 inches off wouldn't make it less dry than it already is. He simply did what was best, which was just cut an inch off. After I get my hair washed at salons, it normally takes 2/3 stylists no joke to brush the knots out. No jokes. Not with Edward. He had it brushed out and trimmed in the space of 30 mins, and even though I didn't request a blow dry, he gave me one anyway and didn't charge. Can't recommend this place enough, I've been to a lot of the top salons in London and this place definitely did the best job of cutting my hair.

Booking experience - as an expat living in Singapore traveling to the UK for an occasion, I booked online via the Yelp appointment messaging function. It was my first time using this feature, and I was so happy with the experience. The salon was so responsive (living up to their 100% responsiveness rate), which made it really easy for me to book even with timezones and my busy Pre-travel schedule. I even booked in my boyfriend (who was traveling from the US) for an appointment! The service - from start to finish, everyone I interacted with at the salon was incredibly nice and respectful, both to the customers and each other which made for a great experience. They also had me come in a day early to test the toner for allergies, which showed me the level of care/thought they put in, and I was able to align on the plan for my hair with my fabulous stylist Hannah. It was clear from that convo that Hannah knows what she's doing with blonde highlights AND curly hair - I always ask for recommendations from my stylists (trust the experts!) without me even telling her, she did exactly as I have had done by my hair stylist in the US who had been doing my hair for 5+ years: a mix of blondes to give dimension, extra of the light blonde and layers around my face to frame it, and some light layers in the back for crown volume. The color/cut - Hannah did a fantastic job with both! The color turned out amazingly natural looking, just the right level warmth, and some shine (which is difficult to get with my dry curly hair). The layers at the face were exactly the angle I like them, and I can see a slight difference in crown volume from the layers in the back. The price - for the level of service and quality of cut/color, the prices were very reasonable! I had gone to a much more expensive salon in London over the holidays, as I was nervous about a bad result (charging £60 for a blow out, which I was surprised to find wasn't included in the cut and color), and found that I like my hair from Feel just as much as that salon and actually preferred the service of Feel (much warmer and more personal). Oh and my Boyfriend (who has Long curly hair) also had a great experience with the salon and his stylist, Tom - and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the salon was! I was offered the usual drink and magazines, but agree with Michelle T that the junior staff were pretty robotic. I never pay much to have my hair cut, and I consider £50 far too much for a wash and trim, but if you quote 'online 50% off', it's a good deal. I was going to give an 'a-ok' review, but reading Michelle's reminded me that I too got a different haircut to the one I asked for, and that although it worked out well for me, that is not actually a fine way to run a hairdressing business. Because I left with half price snazzy hair I just smiled to myself at the stylist's arrogance, but thinking about it, how dare he make it up as he went along, without consulting me! Also, the receptionist was pretty pushy about trying to make me sign up to a loyalty card, and looked at me as if my refusal (which I had to give 3 times) was weird. I was not impressed that they used my mobile number, given to secure the booking, to subsequently bombard me with marketing texts. So, as long as you are up for a surprise, go here for the 50% off deal. In the "treatment room" they offer all sorts of massage, eyebrow reshaping and a whole lot of other things that men should be doing to themselves. Anywhere which is a vintage shop with a hidden barber shop in the back is going to get my attention, and after reading magazines where Agnes Deyne and other celebs talking about it, I knew it was going to be an interesting experience. Normally when I get a haircut, it is a £5 job in Scarborough. Short back and sides with a trimmer and a cut on top. When I entered, I was offered a cup of tea and a mince pie(YES!) Then I was taken for a consultation and Sarah told me what would suit me. I was then treated to a shampoo and head massage and another mince pie! Sarah then cut and styled my hair She was very chatty, very nice and wasn't the standard barber shop chatter which was a nice change to have in London. You definitely notice the difference with the type of haircuts, the look is so much better then what it was. I have read some of the reviews below and can't believe what has been said.
