What happened is I had called for an appointment for 3 children. I let them know twice on the phone it was 3 children and they gave me 4pm (mind you they close at 5pm). I said okay. I figured they wanted to make money since I would be paying $90 for all 3 haircuts before tip. In retrospect, if there was a language barrier or misunderstanding they should have spoke to me in Spanish which I do speak as well, their English isn't good. Keep that in mind when trying to communicate with them. When I got there the lady with short dark hair was busy, so they passed my precious 3 year old boy with shoulder length hair to the man that works there. My 3 year old has been there twice before and sits still and is well mannered. He cut my child's hair so poorly and left scissor marks and when we got outside there was a cut on his skin by his side burns. Mom's let me tell you I was upset! No one cuts my kid. This just the tip of the iceberg, midway through my 1st child's haircut my 2nd child had his haircut by the lady it was fast and they were done before my 3year olds haircut bc the man clearly didn't know how cut hair Finally, the two were done and I pointed out the marks on my toddlers hair. The lady just walked away didn't care and started calling for this adult man in line that it was his turn to get his hair cut. I said what about my daughter? She THREW HER ARMS IN THE AIR ROLLED HER EYES AND SAID "oh my god another one?!" I said yes when I called I booked an appointment for 3 children. Reader, she had the audacity to yell back "I understand!" Clearly she didn't. I said "Nevermind we're leaving" And when I said leaving I meant for good. I will NEVER go back there. Absolutely horrible experience. My daughter was sad she didn't get her haircut so I made it up to her and took her to Great Clips in Whittier (Araceli helped us, she was super nice) *************** 7/22 Since I can't reply to the owners response. I'll just edit my review as they respond. I called to reschedule or cancel my appointment for another day because I wouldn't be able to make it at 3:30pm. They greedily said no they would be able to accommodate me and take me in at 4pm. I didn't push it, they insisted. I let them know I had 3 kids. So tell me Ms. Clara since you're saying each child take 30 minutes and you are saying you close at 5pm. Why did you insist on me coming in and then angrily complain when you had clients to service? Also, why are you saying I should have spoke Spanish if you're insisting you don't have any troubles speaking and communicating with clients in English? Hmm seems to me there's a lot of contradictory statements in your rebuttal. Now let's address, the want to fix it part. While they were cutting his hair they said they could keep cutting it to "fix" it. Absolutely not, as they already cut my babies hair too short to begin with and cut my baby's skin. What else could have been done to fix this hair cut? Balding him? Pass. I had to get him out of that situation. The man who was cutting his hair the whole time was asking the owner for help because he had no clue how to cut hair. This is who you hire to cut children's hair? Really? I should have checked that man's barber/cosmetology license.

They do nice fades and IMO all the kids hair cuts are very similar. If you want a more trendy cut like those taper fades, burst fades etc.. go to a barber not here. Overall, I'm happy with their services. My only complaint is that the pricing is inconsistent. It used to be $22 a cut when we first came, then went up to $25/$28 a cut last year depending on who was collecting the money at the register, then came back in June before his birthday and was $28 a cut. Came today 2 months later for a cut before school and the cut is now $33.

They're set up in the Phenix Salon Suites and have a very kid-friendly, colorful shop, including a little taxi salon chair and video screens to keep the kids occupied. She did a great job for both of them. Very friendly and meticulous. We're super happy with how the cuts came out! They accept Zelle or cash, so would keep that in mind. Might have to run to the ATM beforehand!

She was so incredibly patient even though he was moving around a lot. She did a thorough job and gave him a sick fade, despite his hair being very thin and wispy!
