First time we went my son was shy of 12 months and then we went again around 16 months. He cried both times but they were patient and took their time. We had a really disappointing experience here. We drove about 20 minutes to get my son's haircut and then waited another 20 minutes, only to be told that they had double-booked the appointment and our name wasn't even in their system. Before coming, we had already messaged them THE BUSINESS OWNER on Yelp, confirmed their availability, and received confirmation for our appointment time. Despite showing up as agreed, the employee simply said we "weren't in the system" and turned us away without offering any solution, apology, or attempt to make things right. What made the experience even more upsetting was the lack of customer service. The employee came across as rude and dismissive. As we were leaving, we still made a point to say, "Thank you," but she didn't even acknowledge us or respond. It was heartbreaking having to explain to my son why he wasn't getting the haircut he had been looking forward to after the drive and the wait. We left feeling like our time didn't matter at all. If appointments confirmed through Yelp aren't honored, customers should be made aware before they spend time driving over. read more

I made an appointment for my daughters a whole month ago for the first haircut treatment. I specifically asked if they do 3b-4a hair. So imagine my surprise, when I walked into the salon to ONE overwhelmed? hair stylist. No warm greeting at all, and immediate dismissal of her ability to accept us as clients. She stated she had back to back appointments, and even when I said we were one of them, she said she would be unable to complete us in time. I even asked if she would be able to do at least one child's hair. She said she could only do straight hair to "loose curls" and that goes for the rest of the staff as well. Our 4 month old had THE BEST first haircut experience here!! Appointments were very easy to make. You can either call them or reach out via IG. I messaged the owner on IG and she was extremely kind, accommodating (we were an hour late) and patient. The plaza had plenty of parking for us and the salon was an experience in itself! You step into a playful safari that's crafted for any kid of adult to enjoy. Our baby is a bit fussy but we were relieved to enter a light and welcoming space. I shared my anxiousness with the owner about how fussy our baby could be. She did not look worried and expressed confidence in knowing how to handle the situation. She handled it SO WELL!! She was extremely warm, gentle and patience with our baby. Brought by son here for a surfer boy cut and the stylist was incredibly helpful to make sure he didn't look like a girl! The whole environment is set up perfectly for kids--fun seats, balloons, and even a TV right in front of the chair to keep little ones entertained. Sarah at the front desk was so welcoming. I had scheduled a haircut for my 2-year-old daughter, who had previously only had her first mini trim done by her dad, so I was a tad nervous about how her first official haircut would go. We were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness that I immediately knew we were in the best place for this experience. From the kid-friendly environment to the genuine engagement provided by both Sommer and Sara, our visit was truly memorable and exceptional. My daughter got to choose where she wanted to sit, and she picked Minnie Mouse's pink car--which was perfect since she loves Minnie Mouse. Once in the chair (or should I say Minnie car), my little one started to whine, so the ladies put Mickey Mouse on to help calm her. It worked--until she noticed the scissors. She began the haircut crying, as it was a brand-new experience, but with Sommer's kind and gentle approach, my daughter was smiling by the end. Sara played a huge role as well, distracting her with a balloon, stickers, and a ring (all of which she got to take home). Sommer finished the cut by adding two adorable pink Christmas bows to my daughter's hair. The haircut and style were absolutely precious. Now, mind you, the salon was set to close at 5:00 p.m., and our appointment was at 4:30, so we were the last clients of the day. My husband was on his way to be part of the experience and possibly get his own haircut. Neither Sommer nor Sara hesitated to stay late, and my husband was able to get a haircut as well. Sommer did a wonderful job on his hair, and Sara kept our little girl entertained by playing with her while he was in the chair. I brought my daughter here for her first non- home-haircut and she loved it! she chose a Minnie Mouse car to sit in for her haircut which turned out well and is growing out nicely. Pricier than I expected for a kid's cut but it included a good amount and I'm happy we found a fun place nearby to give her a "pampering" experience.
