I used to frequent this business years ago when my old son was a toddler. We were always well taken care of. However, my more recent visit with my younger son did not go so well and this is what I am basing my 1 star review off of. I urgently needed a trim for my toddler, so I walked in. There were two ladies both consumed with the one and only customer that was there. No one acknowledged me at walk in. I patiently wait at the front counter. After a minute or so, I insert myself and walk further into their shop. I know at this point the ladies see me but still, no acknowledgement. I was growing frustrated and debating saying something. Instead, I decided to walk out after wasting more than 5 minutes. I understand business owners and service workers have a tough job and can be very busy, but a mere acknowledgement or "I'll be right with you" would have been just fine with me. Needed a last minute haircut and was a walk-in since our go to was closed during that time (lunch) I don't remember her name was exactly it started with a "V" with 2 syllable. I asked if she could do a light fade like the one she did on the previous kid that just left she said no regular 3 all over was better. I was like ok whatever didn't want to argue with the person cutting my kids hair, this was for a 4 year old. After the hair cut she put a gel which looked great, gave a decent tip and left. Mind you this was $30 for a basic hair cut for a kid. The next day the truth came out without the gel, he didnt look like he had a hair cut at all. Even the dad was surprised on how it looked like since he regularly gets a haircut, even if his hair wasn't styled it looked even and nice. Picture attached. I gave it a shot, won't be back at all. I came today to give my 2 year daughter her first haircut. The salon was adorable, it had chairs that were made of big wheels for the kids to choose from. Not only that each station had their own tv which made the service to easy. Emi was our stylist and she was amazing she made my daughter feel comfortable and then was able to fix my infant hairs that my husband had messed up. Took both my sons yesterday to get a haircut. My oldest son is autistic and I let the stylist know. I asked her to please use scissors on his hair so the noise wouldn't affect him and she disregarded what I said. I asked her a few times. She also over charged us when it was time to pay. When we first got to the counter the lady said it was $52 and the stylist came running telling her (in Spanish, thinking I wouldn't understand) she was charging more because my son cried. So they tried to charge us $60. I will never be taking my kids back there. read more

I used to like this location because it is not as packed as Downey but today we had a horrible experience. I usually ask for a side part on my son and today we decided to do an over all shave because he is in sports and he needed his hard shorter. Gabby was his stylist and she did a horrible job. To top it off she put gel on a kind of shaved head I have no idea why. Maybe to cover the horrible job done because the top of his head looks like a horse chewed on it. He has random long hairs and it looks just terrible. I paid $31.00 for my son to look like a horse was chewing on the top of his poor head. I'm beyond upset. read more

My son HATES hair cuts. The buzzer caries the sh*t out of him. We went in a few days ago and I Forgot to get her name but the lady was fast and soft so my son wasn't scared. The environment was very kid friendly and they even had those children car as a seat to cut their hair. Pretty awesome!! Lollipops were available for cry babies(my son), and even had Super Mario playing right in front of their chair. At the end of the hair cut, he was given a new toy to take home. So, this is our second time bringing my son to this location. We used to go to Pelitos on Firestone. We came here for his last cut just to try them out and loved it so I told me husband we HAD to come back here. We went today annnnddd it was not what we wanted. It's not horrible but it's not good. I feel like if the lady couldn't cut it the way we wanted he should have been passed on to someone else who could give us what we wanted.
