Interesting concept! How it works: 1) Aloe shot - I enjoyed. 2) Tea - Iced but can get hot on request. 3) Protein smoothie - I got a tropical flavor and for a protein smoothie, it tasted good, just very dense and thick. Not your typical smoothie (which makes sense) but I didn't even drink half of it and felt like I wasted my money. This is the smallest size. Courtney got a chocolate one and it tasted like a milkshake so if you go, I would recommend a dessert flavor vs fruity. Wish it had real fruit options but understand that this concept is different (using protein powder). Protein is just not my preference when it comes to a smoothie. But really love how all smoothies are under 200 calories!! read more

So I actually recently moved back to town and finally got to try this place, and, well It's horribly underwhelming. When I had heard about it, I was expecting handcrafted fruit smoothies with powder supplements added in. But no, it was made of only powders; no fruit, no veggies. Just powder. As someone who has worked in a coffee shop, honestly I was stunned. Even at Starbucks I know they use dried fruit and juice in their refreshers, and their smoothies were made with actual bananas. And they're charging double Starbucks. But the big issue for me is not just the use of solely powder supplements, but using the mlm YoungLiving. If you are not aware, YoungLiving is a diet mlm, and like many mlms, there are some issues you should be aware of. One fact is that none of the powders are organic, they're all chemical based. They are also not great long term, as they've been attached to digestive issues and even claims of liver damage. I honestly didn't want to write this because I know people who genuinely love the place and the employees were lovely people. However, I couldn't in good conscience ignore it, given the fact that it actually made me ill for two days. I have IBS, and the horribly processed powders in the smoothie I drank triggered me to have a decent flare up. I guess what I want to say is that you should definitely do research on the products being used here, especially if you have preexisting health conditions like me. A shake here and there should be fine, however I can't recommend the place. read more

This place serves some GREAT protein shakes! If you're looking for a different type of meal look no further than 5th Street Nutrition! The place is all inclusive and you receive an aloe shot and complimentary tea while you wait for them to make your shake. There are A TON of flavors to choose from so there is something for everyone! If you aren't into protein then this place might not be for you, but for $8 it's definitely worth a shot to try! read more

LOVE This new addition to Terre haute. I have been coming here for several weeks now and love this place so much. I have cut my Starbucks way down and added 5th Street into weekly routine. If you are looking for a recommendation. Everything is great but we love the Tea Bombs. Cherry, Gushers, Sweet Tart, and the grape ones are our favorites so far. (Haven't tried them all YET) Blake is an amazing guy as well as business owner. When I first walked in I felt a little over whelmed by the menu but he walked up and explained the entire process to me. You can tell he really does care for his customers and business. I'm so glad our businesses are so close to each other so I can always tell my customers to stop in and see Blake. My little brother Cael and I give this place 5 stars I would give it 10 if I could. read more

I thought based on the advertising that it would be a smoothie bar. Not so. It is an Herbalife outlet. $8 gets you a shot of aloe juice, a glass of tea, and a super sweet powdered protein shake. Not real fruits or veggies except some frozen berries tossed in for color. We were disappointed to learn what was on offer here. Won't return. read more

My husband I come here for a lunch smoothie at least once, usually twice a week. The protein smoothies are made from powders and are all under 200 calories. They are filling and a great meal replacement. My favorite is the buckeye, which is a chocolate / peanut butter flavor. Jim loves the snickers. You start with an aloe shot, then tea while they are preparing your smoothie. The price is good considering it is a meal replacement, and we usually use it for a replacement for lunch and sometimes both breakfast and lunch. $8 is a great deal for that. This store is immensely disappointing. Their shakes are made out of Herbalife protein powder, the only real fruit being toppings or for color. Herbalife is a pyramid scheme company that sells overpriced, low quality protein powder, and has multiple lawsuits against them for their products causing SERIOUS LIVER DAMAGE. Don't waste your money. You can get better quality protein shakes at Wal Mart. read more

Cool place. Amazing options and staff is great for understanding and working with dietary issues. My wife is gluten free and helped her find many options that could work for her. I was skeptical having another "health food" type of restaurant moving into the building after Aracari Kitchen left, but was happily surprised with this place. I think it will thrive even more once school is back in session. 10/10 read more

5th Street is THE BEST. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The shakes and tea bombs are delicious and healthy.

What's incredible about 5th Street nutrition is that if they say a shake tastes like something, it really tastes like that thing. Add the fact the shakes are low or no sugar and that you get high quality nutrition with every purchase and you'll see why 5th street has a constant stream of customers. People complain about the price... but like it's a meal, if you think about it like that, it really seems like a reasonable price. read more

They don't actually have smoothies. Smoothies are fruit and/or vegetables mixed with yogurt. What they have is protein shakes from powder. I got a vegetable based one instead of the soy. I got blueberries but I can only taste the protein power. The raspberry tea is awful. Review: Way overpriced and disgusting. read more

I have mixed feelings on this place...went here for a quick breakfast with my friend while visiting her in Terre Haute. Neither of us were too hungry so we decided to go get a smoothie and just chill. Walked in and was a tad bit confused because neither of us realized it was a herbalife outlet thing (??). First you get a shot of aloe, then you get a tea, and then you get a smoothie, all for $8 which is a pretty good deal if you ask me. I just didn't appreciate how it's not clear that it's sponsored by Herbalife. The smoothies were fine but after all was said and done it felt like my stomach was filled up with liquid and I could only get down half of it before I had to throw it away. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable I just don't really understand the concept of the place. I also wish they had fresh fruit instead of a bunch of powders mixed with water and half a handful of frozen fruit. For the price it isn't bad but it felt kind of deceiving. Also the flavor choices are overwhelming and for someone who's going in there expecting a fruit smoothie there were only three flavors that had anything with fruit in the name. Cool place if you know what you're getting into and you're into that kinda thing but for someone like me I don't think I'd go back. read more

Their advertising is clear and you know what you're getting into when you arrive: protein shakes and tea (Herbalife).
