I wish they had a more clear menu (especially in drive thru) and a little more chiseled employees. They looked like teenagers, but when a young lady responded to my order with "huh?" I was a little taken aback. But you just have to laugh it off and I did! We got two scoops of ice cream on a waffle cone and some type of chocolate marshmallow sundae for $10. The prices don't compare to Baskin Robbins, but Baskin Robbins doesn't have custard now do they? We will definitely be back and we are glad that this location is still open.

The freshest of strawberries with nothing spared. Vanilla is my favorite! I know it should be deeper than that but I cannot help loving vanilla! A Spring day offers even more enjoyment with the sunshine on your skin and glacier coolness in your mouth! Tables with umbrellas for shade so that you can enjoy your frozen custard outside. Very good. Sizable portions for the price (a small was just enough/plenty for me). Lots of options, but I went with a vanilla with hot fudge and rainbow sprinkles. Topping portions were decent, could've been slightly more hot fudge or at least been distributed more evenly. Custard itself was good. Did find an ice chip in mine which wasn't the greatest showing but overall smooth. Otherwise, good stop. Looking forward to seeing how it compares to other local scoop shops. read more

One of my favorite places in town for dessert. Love custard and how flavors rotate each day. Reasonably priced and like the toppings. Appreciate how the chocolate chips are flakes instead of traditional kiss shape. Popular place for the summer and like the drive through. read more

This is a good place to enjoy some ice cream outside on a nice day. Me and the wife both got just ice cream and we loved what we got. The employees were very patient and polite. Keep up the work guys. read more

Usually a place ran by a bunch of high school aged kids, you are going to get attitude and bad service. Not here. I was greeted with a nice smile and a warm voice asking what I wanted. I was not rushed and that is a huge plus. They offer many flavors and the place is very clean. No public bathroom, juat so you know. A great place to have a treat outside with the family. Wish I had one in Greencastle to go to. read more

Ritter's is my favorite frozen dessert place in Terre Haute. The frozen custard here is just so good. It's very rich and not overly sweet. They also sell glaciers, smoothies and shakes. I am a fan of their shakes. You can get them in any flavor of frozen custard they have available and It's waaay better than Steak 'n Shake's. They have a good variety of flavors that suits every kind of palate. I usually have a hard time deciding which flavor to get because they're all just brilliant. My favorite is probably the Black Raspberry. If you're indecisive like me, you can ask the employees for a sample. They have always been really friendly which is a plus. I think this is a true Terre Haute gem and I foresee myself returning soon. read more

Everything is so good here!! It's hard to choose what to get. They are also reasonably priced. Everyone is always nice, and I'm glad they have the Italian ice because my daughter is allergic to milk and it's nice for her to get a treat, too. read more

There is a line of customers parked outside when they open at 6am. Most of their donuts are preferred for businesses. When they run out of donuts they close without warning, so I would come as early to open as you can if driving from far away. My favorite donuts are the glazed and the long johns. There have been many times where we went at 9 am an they were already closed. With a successful business they should make enough donuts or make more donuts if they run out to last until remotely close to what they lost as their closing time. The donuts are the best but are a bit pricey at $15 a dozen. The store is warm and small so it feels cozy and comfortable.
