Yaaas! It's bigger than it looks (I know you are, but what am I?) from the outside and reminds me of a Duke's or Love's if you're familiar.

It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). It wasn't until 2003 that Kwik Trip introduced their Glazer Doughnuts. I couldn't find a lot of info on Glazers, but they appear to simply be the Kwik Trip version of a glazed doughnut. The Glazer that I got my hands on is a yeast/raised doughnut, covered in a sweet glaze, and has a chocolate drizzle on top. There's a pale/whitish appearance to the doughnut since the layer of glaze is so thick. With an appearance like that it reminded me a bit of a zebra or oddly enough, the Warboys from Mad Max. My glazer was satisfyingly sweet, and the chocolate drizzle was a nice touch as it was not simply for aesthetics, but did add some milk chocolate flavor. Warming it in the microwave for a few seconds elevated it to near Krispy Kreme status (aka perfection). Even though it's an ersatz Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut (to be fair, all other glazed doughnuts in my experience are), Kwik Trip's version is still tasty enough to be Doughboy approved My top doughnut shops: 1. The gas pump area is super clean and maintained well. Inside is orderly too. I needed to get gas and remembered they offer the famous HoHo cakes. So, after filling up, I ran inside to get the sweet treat for my sister. The Mama P's selection was plentiful but not very diverse. They were all chocolate based except for the animal cracker. It was so cute with pink cake and a pink animal cracker on top. I also chose the chocolate and peanut butter. I wish they had more non-chocolate options such as lemon etc. They were delicious just the same. Once you check in on Yelp, you receive an offer for a free bottle of water. The young girl at the desk was very confused and went to get another person for help. That girl looked at my phone and said, "we don't do that". When I said I think they do she agreed. It seemed like since she wasn't sure how to process the Yelp offer, she just wanted to refuse it. Then I realize it is Kenosha Restaurant Week. More confusion ensued on the price of my HoHo cakes, the only item they offered on Restaurant Week. I love that Lou Perrine's participated in Yelp and Restaurant Week. I stop by in the morning for coffee - they have it brewed fresh each morning with really great options- even my favorite iced coffee! They are great about getting new items in and keeping things up to date. You will always be welcomed by smiling faces and they are always willing to help if you can't find something. I see police officers here a lot (it's near the police station) and I always feel safe if I have to come by late at night. BONUS: they have KRINGLE! And the deliver groceries if you need it. AMAZING. (It looks like they have a low rating currently due to old reviews- with new management, everything has changed!)

I was getting ready to leave on a trip early Friday morning and ran out of time to get this done. I live in Pleasant Prairie so this was convenient. The location wasn't easy to get to because of all of the construction on Route 50, however once I figured out how to get across the street it was fine. They are located next door to Goodwill and Safelite Auto glass. All 3 gentlemen that worked on my car were awesome. They showed me my air filter which didn't need to be changed. They filled all of my tires and the oil change maybe took 20 minutes. They also replaced my rear windshield wiper. Very nice, informative and even screwed a piece that was loose, underneath my car. They definitely went the extra mile and I appreciate that.

The vehicle was not there for 24 hours so he basically screwed me out of 80 bucks , thank goodness I have insurance , My friends parents take their vehicle there and they even had said the same thing ! Waukesha County even directed me to this site and they thought that was a bunch of junk. It's unfortunate that they gave him a contract with Waukesha County for towing.. on top of that he told me I'll charge you for two days so I took that as a threat, but I wasn't intimidated by people like him , he apparently don't like what he does. he was try to screw insurance companies bottom line.
