This local gas station and quick market is a Kenosha staple. The prominent corner has always had a…read moregas station. Lou Perrine's is keeping that tradition. The gas pump area is super clean and maintained well. Inside is orderly too. I needed to get gas and remembered they offer the famous HoHo cakes. So, after filling up, I ran inside to get the sweet treat for my sister. The Mama P's selection was plentiful but not very diverse. They were all chocolate based except for the animal cracker. It was so cute with pink cake and a pink animal cracker on top. I also chose the chocolate and peanut butter. I wish they had more non-chocolate options such as lemon etc. They were delicious just the same. Once you check in on Yelp, you receive an offer for a free bottle of water. The young girl at the desk was very confused and went to get another person for help. That girl looked at my phone and said, "we don't do that". When I said I think they do she agreed. It seemed like since she wasn't sure how to process the Yelp offer, she just wanted to refuse it. Then I realize it is Kenosha Restaurant Week. More confusion ensued on the price of my HoHo cakes, the only item they offered on Restaurant Week. I love that Lou Perrine's participated in Yelp and Restaurant Week. I just wish the staff is better trained on things like this.

Usually, your doctor fills a script, and you go pick it up at the pharmacy. Getting a pump though was way different. I had to call my endocrinologist to place the order, they had to contact the educator, then the pump representative, then the script went to ASRN, who then contacted insurance, then after all that i was told it was sent to CVS. So I call, ask when they think it'll be ready for pick up, (you could tell they were p***** I had the audacity to ask that), they say it'll be ready the next day by 4 pm. Cool. We hang up. Next day, get a call from an unknown number, it's ready around 2 pm. Go pick it up, not a problem, left pretty fast with my new pump. About a week goes by, call them to see if I can turn on auto refills, simple request, didn't think anything of it, and I'm responded with, "you should have done that when you picked it up... hold on, what's your name and DOB..." umm... sorry I called the pharmacy to fulfill a pharmacy related request?... so she gets my info pulled up, and says "you just picked this up...." And I repeat, "yes I know, I'm trying to see if I can set up auto refill or when the next date I can fill the script will be." To which I'm responded with, "you got a 90 day supply... so 90 days from when you got it..." so I say, "okay soooooo like September 1st?.... 15th?...." Like just give me the date so I can put it in my reminders to fill it that day. Idk what the problem was?? So she gives me the date, and no joke, the call hangs up like this. Me: "okay, than-" her: "Bye" *click*. Like I don't know what the problem was? Both phone calls were 4 minutes long if that, and they were 1 week apart from eachother? I called my normal pharmacy Walgreens and had the prescription transferred to them. They're a lot nicer, the one next to the interstate, by woodmans. I do not recommend CVS in target based off my interaction with them.

My wife and I went to CVS Pharmacy inside Target in Pleasant Prairie to pick up some items. We…read morearrived at 6:40 knowing that the Pharmacy closes at 7:00. We finished our shopping in about 5 minutes and went to the counter to check out. Now we were told through a Target representative that we needed to have the CVS Pharmacy ring up the sale since we were using our Flex Spending account money. Upon standing at the counter at the Pharmacy, I noticed the representative was more interested in closing up the pharmacy early by the way she rolled her eyes. Just by the look, I knew in an instant that this was not going to go well. Just the negative body language expressed as she approached us sealed that thought. My wife explained with a smile that we were told that the Pharmacy needed to check us out instead of the regular Target register since we were using our flex money. She said in a very rude and condescending way that it wasn't true and that we should use the front store register. She obviously gives us the impression that we are wasting her valuable time. She also said that she could only ring up 5 items instead of the seven items we had in the basket. Now at this point I am looking around visibly shocked at the number of customers waiting in line to be helped, ZERO. Now thinking that she is doing us a favor, she proceeds to empty all the contents on the counter and says that she could probably ring them up in the rudest and most disrespectful voice. I guess she wasn't going to be able to close up early like she thought. I then grabbed all the items, put them back in the basket and said "Don't worry, we won't waste your time. We will take these to the front." After a few choice words directed at her, we ended up at the front of the store and spoke to a woman at one of the registers. She explained that the Flex account may not work at her register, but she will try and thankfully it did. At least she wasn't rude like the CVS representative. I just hope CVS understands that it is not just the extremely poor customer service received but the complete lack of integrity in their employees. I just hope that other customers that use CVS Pharmacy understand that these are the same people that are filling their prescriptions. I would hope to God that prescriptions don't get mixed up. My wife and I quit using CVS as our primary Pharmacy based upon this experience and previous visits. We decided this time to give them a try again since it was an extremely easy purchase and yet they failed again.
