I received a phone call from the business that I also needed 2 new calipers which were found to be seizing one in the front and one in the rear. I was told that calipers have a 2yr warranty and pads and rotors had no warranty. I approved and paid the total bill $1,151.89 before picking up my vehicle. I picked up the vehicle, it was muddy, my seat was moved in every different direction, my steering wheel was moved, and my rear view mirror was hanging loose like someone pulled to hard to move it and just left it. I felt like a bear and climbed through my car. When I looked at the brakes wasn't sure about clips hanging out of the calipers, and it had 2 different color calipers installed. I called the store and sent pictures of what I saw. They said it was fine. A few days later Saturday took the car on the highway and was having trouble stopping at 60mph. I called the Lindenhurst, IL corporate location for help as I was closer to them at that time. I sent them pictures of my concern and they called the Kenosha location. While I was driving the Kenosha, WI location called me, I explained my trouble stopping and they told me to come in to them, and I did. It was found that they incorrectly installed the front brakes. I left my car with the owner Tim to correct. My vehicle was done the next business day on Monday no charge. When I went to pick it up again I felt something was wrong so I told them I was taking it to the dealer to give a 2nd opinion. When I got home the left rear brakes smelled bad. At the dealership it was found that the rear brake pads were installed upside down, and brake fluid had to be topped off as it was not at Great American Tire. I paid the dealer to correct. I called Great American Tire, brought back the rear brake pads and rotors they installed, and was refunded $500. The work order stated no warranty on the rear brakes. The caliper wasn't touched and this refund was less than the total I paid for the rear service. I have been calling and emailing the owner for weeks, I only received a call back when I stated that I would be filing complaints. BRAKES INSTALLED INCORRECTLY TWICE. *** LAST TIME CUSTOMER***

I thought I would try them again (I'm a sucker for punishment I guess) when they were offering a 50% off oil changes. Well the 50% off only applied to the most basic of changes. Then it was more like 20% off. On top of that, I was pressured when I walked in the door to cough up for a package card and get free change TODAY! When I left, saying "no, thanks" the guy behind the counter started making "gestures" at me to the amusement of the folks in the waiting room. Yep. "Eek! Methinks not." really applies here. Despite being the only car here when I rolled up, the oil change did not go…read moreas fast as other locations I've visited with friends (over 30 minutes - didn't rotate tires , change filters, or anything else - literally just an oil change.) I would have changed my air filters, but they didn't have any in stock. My biggest issue was they left a ton of oil or some other residue on my center console when I got back into my car (and my glove compartment napkins were gone so they clearly tried to clean it quick, but it didn't work.) Finally, they somehow turned off my Smart Screen (that is my clock, access to radio, Apple Car Play, etc.) which I've never seen before (there isn't a power button) so I had to ask them to come back and show me what they did to disable it. It's not all bad...the one lady helping me was nice, I was able to do my free emissions testing, and the waiting room was clean and had water, coffee, air conditioning, and apparently free WiFi (didn't use).
