We went to Serenbe and was sorrily disappointed by the food options. We were expecting healthy food. We found fried or very buttery options we available seasoned mainly with table salt for exorbitant prices. So we found THIS cafe with more options available at more than half the price. This is a little gem in Palmetto if you find yourself looking for more options. The chef here is leaps bounds better than the fancy restaurants down the street.

Customers be prepared to seat yourself when you arrive & snag your own menu at the door! I was looking awkward at first but a customer told me to sit anywhere available. It was only one guy waiter so I had to be patient and I went ahead and read the menu to be ready for when he came to greet his self. He was a lil overwhelmed but that what comes with being the only waiter. Now let's talk about the food! Food: I had the veggie omelet w/ no cheese and it was delicious! The biscuits are homemade and soft, the flapjacks were crispy around the edges with a buttery taste and powder sugars on top, the grits were creamy and the sweet tea was good! I also ordered the porkchop and it was thick and juicy! I will be returning, as a matter of fact I'm on my way up there now! See ya!

If you happen to be in the area, do yourself a favor and check this spot out! Right now you can only dine outside or to-go because they are being extra careful/safe with covid. I am so happy we found it on our way from Newnan to Atlanta. The food took about a half hour to make, but it was MORE than worth it. The pork bacon was perfectly crisp, the scrambled eggs with cheese were melt-in-your-mouth, the hashbrowns were buttery and crisp, yet creamy, and let's talk about that biscuit! Fresh out the oven, flaky, baked with love I tell ya! Again, loved this place and the wait was totally worth it.

We heard from Friends that the cheeseburger at 613 was one of the best they ever had. I thought they were exaggerating but they weren't. This is one great burger. Clean restaurant with good service. If you are on the Southside if Atlanta check them out. No kidding, it's worth the drive

This spot is a hidden gem in Palmetto. I've lived in Fairburn for 7 years and never knew about it. My tastebuds were definitely pleased. I posted pics of what we ordered. Everything was presented well and the peppers in the potatoes added a touch of color to the plate. I would say I'm a bread pudding connoisseur lol and the bread pudding here is now in my top 5. I'm going to bring my family when they come to visit.

I was curious so I decided to look it up on Google Maps and saw that they had some good reviews and the type of breakfast/brunch food I was looking for. When I walked in, they were very busy and the wait would've been about 30 minutes so I decided to order my food to go. I was told they take reservations during the week. While I was waiting, I got a chance to meet the owners and they were so nice and told me they were moving to a larger space this Summer. I decided to try the flavored lemonade and I got the mango flavor. It was so delicious and refreshing. My order didn't take too long to be prepared. I ordered the beignets. I also ordered shrimp and salmon grits and I got my salmon blackened and I got the peach cobbler bread pudding. My key takeaways are the salmon and shrimp grits dish was very flavorful. It was hot and fresh, and it was the perfect portion. My beignets were hot and fresh and I loved the taste and texture but it was missing the powdered sugar and I would've liked to have had a dipping sauce, maybe chocolate caramel or strawberry with it, not sure if I should've asked for it or if it should've came as an addition. I personally did not care for the peach bread pudding. It was too sweet and for some reason didn't actually remind me of bread pudding so I would probably try a different dessert like the red velvet cake next time. Overall, my experience was great and I definitely can't wait to return.

The first time, I dined in with my son and also ordered fish and grits to go. About 10 minutes after receiving my meal, I got the to-go order, but the cooks refused to separate the fish from the grits. As a result, I had to cut my meal short and leave so the fish wouldn't become soggy. The second visit was with my husband. I ordered the grit bowl exactly as listed on the menu. I was told the onions and peppers came on the potatoes instead of the grits, which was fine because I mainly wanted the spinach anyway. When the meal arrived, there was no spinach. The waitress checked with the cooks, and they claimed the spinach did not come with the meal, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. They then attempted to charge extra for it, despite it being included in the advertised price. I also asked to speak with a manager, but no manager ever came out. Unfortunately, the poor communication and lack of customer service from the kitchen staff and management overshadowed what could have been a much better experience.

AMBIANCE (4/5): Tons of indoor & outdoor patio seating, although it seemed like everyone pre-ordered or picked up to go. They have 2 long communal tables and a ton of 2-4 people tables. The wood tables make it look rustic, pop music playing so it's not awkwardly quiet. SERVICE (3/5): You order at the counter first, a single cashier, but it goes fairly quickly. Most of the staff is in the back kitchen. It's more "serve yourself". You grab your own drinks from the fridge, all utensils, napkins, and water are already on the table, and throw your own trash away, everything is in disposable containers. FOOD (4/5): $22 BUILD YOUR OWN BOWL: I personally didn't like the signature rice, I wanted the crispy rice fritters but they were sold out at 1:30pm on a Friday. The crispy Brussels were AMAZING! Definitely get this for a (+$2.50 upgrade). Bulgogi ribeye was sweet and delicious! Cashier offered a side of spicy Korean sauce which I didn't realize I'd be charged for, just wish she told me it was an additional cost (+$0.75). It doesn't need any extra sauce, the bowls are very saucy! And I'm a heavy sauce person. Also added a fried egg (+$2). The bowl was very delicious, minus the signature rice, I'd get all crispy Brussels next time! $4 BUTTERFLY TEA: very sweet, but good! $4 MINI COOKIES (4-PACK): I got 2 chocolate chip and 2 banana chip cookies. A little dry, but yummy. OVERALL (4/5): This is a FAST-CASUAL restaurant. They ask for automatic tip at the cashier, but you pretty much service yourself except when they bring out the food. I honestly wasn't expecting to spend this much for a quick lunch (total was $36), but I wanted to try everything. Now I know what I like and don't like here and excited to try some of the other bowl options! Definitely recommend this place! Very yummy!

We had the charcuterie, caesar salad, beet salad, short ribs, octopus and halibut along with all three offered desserts. The mixed drinks (lemon drop and crystal nigroni (sp?)) were exceptional and the wine suggestion was spot on. The only issue we had was learning that the locals in Serenbe did not frequent Austin's as much as they should. If I lived in Serenbe, I would be a regular to this amazing restaurant. My friends are looking at adding it to their weekly night out (they live 30-40 minutes from Serenbe). Thank you for exceptional food and service - we will be back and recommend to friends.

Since they don't offer poached eggs, I went with over-easy instead. I'd had their salmon years ago before they moved out of the plaza and wasn't a fan back then it felt straight out of a can. However, this time the salmon looked completely different. I could see onions peeking through, so I decided to play it safe and order just one patty. The Food: Grits: Smooth and tasted pretty good. Eggs: Over-easy eggs were fine, though slightly overcooked in the middle. Salmon Patty: Definitely an improvement from my last visit! It had a nice crust and wasn't overly salty. It could have used a bit more flavor, like extra onions, bell peppers, or Old Bay, but it was solid overall. Biscuit: Even though I rarely eat bread, this was soft, fresh, and not dry at all. Strik-O-Lickin Bacon: A total miss. It was dry, extremely salty, and burnt a waste of money. Soaking or rinsing the cured bacon to cut the salt content would make a world of difference. Service & Atmosphere: The restaurant was clean, and the staff was wonderfully courteous. A special shoutout to the new cashier you did an awesome job! Overall will probably eat there again, maybe for lunch.
