They had a simple, one page menu and a lovely assortment of cocktails, which included mocktails. I had the Queen of Hearts cocktail which was a sweet blend of blackberry and gin. I also had their take on avocado toast. I'm a sucker for that on the menu. It was served on focaccia bread with pesto, sliced avocado, and poached eggs. The eggs were poached perfectly. We were on our way home on the interstate and decided to have dinner in downtown Newnan. We went by our usual stop and they were lined up out the door at 6pm. I saw Lilah Grey on Yelp and we drove by and decided to stop and boy are we happy we did! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This turned out to be exactly what we enjoy, a funky little joint with a fun vibe, great bar, and excellent food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The first thing that caught my attention when we walked in was the excellent bourbon selection at the bar and next was how friendly the staff was! We were seated and quickly ordered drinks while we checked out the menu. Our drinks, old fashioned and drop martini came and were really good. Old fashioneds are hit or miss for me and this one was perfect, not too sweet and the 100 proof bourbon stood up to the bitters and simple. We ordered 3 small plates, lollipop lamb, espresso seasoned steak, and Brussels and really enjoyed all 3. My wife noticed the couple next to us got the toasted marshmallow brownie and that the wife ate the whole thing and decided to order us one. I travel for a living Eat all over Had average expectations for this place and it did not meet average status. Aligator fries break your jaw but the fries were very good and cold. My first drink order was easy - Arnold Palmer with a double shot of vodka - swing and miss here. Back up drink was ginger ale and vodka mission accomplished. Newnan has multiple options. From South Florida and visited Newnan for a wedding. Was skeptical because I couldn't find Lilah Grey's menu or online presence. Decided to give it a try since it was within walking distance of other places if we didn't love the menu. Lilah Grey was so awesome I went back the next morning for breakfast. They have a great tapas menu, tasty food, and a beautiful bar/drinks. All at a great price. I'm going to miss Lilah Grey! This is a 10/10 experience. Don't think about it, just go. We went for brunch. It tasted ok, but did not live up to the other "curious" locations... if you want un healthy fried food with no nutritional value it works. There were no vegetables on the menu even as ingredients in the entrees like breakfast bowls and burgers. No veggie sides. The breakfast burger my husband got was good as in the meat was cooked well and good quality, but as far as healthy options I felt I was soaking my heart in fat while eating here.
