This quaint little cafe is a gem. We were pleasantly surprised with the simple sandwiches. The presentation and the taste was great. Their spin on Avocado toast was unique and I absolutely loved it. Want to love this place but can't because of the lack of vegetarian/vegan options. Brunch is basically out of the question. Many who eat that way, including myself, due so for underlying health conditions and autoimmune disorders. Please make your menu more accommodating, especially considering you're in Serenbe which is an environmentally conscious and health conscious community. read more

My friend took me to view Serenbe since it is an area I've never visited. I wanted some coffee so we stopped in. I ended up getting the maple latte and chocolate chip banana bread. Both tasted good with just the right amount of sweetness. It took a little while for my drink likely because they were making several lattes and making food but it just gives it that much more of a neighborhood feel. read more

I think if you live around the cafe it might be a favorite spot but between the availability of parking and the location in general this is probably a one time visit unless I happen to be in Serenbe again. I enjoyed my latte and my pastry and the staff were all kind. read more

We loved this place! Visited Serenbe for 2 nights & came here each morning. Our Airbnb host also greeted us with 2 cookies from their bakery. Highlights: -red velvet cookie -pumpkin loaf (gf/df) - the BEST pumpkin loaf I've ever tasted. We bought it both days. So moist! -country breakfast with grits (I would suggest sausage instead of bacon) -lattes were tasty, but the cinnamon chai was a little too sweet for my taste (I got it iced) Such a cute ambiance inside & out! People were so nice & a lot of patrons brought their dogs. Very kid friendly as well. Wish we lived closer so we could go back more often! read more

I love coming here in the mornings. Small bake shop with great baked goods, desserts, and coffee shop items. Also serves lunch, Sunday Brunch. One day per week there is a dinner. Peaceful in the mornings. The gluten-free blueberry bread and the vanilla rose chai latte are great for on-the-go, but the breakfast scramble is amazing. Their gluten-free bread is delicious - not grainy or bland like most. The team is almost always pleasant and seems to have amazing energy so early. Food is usually ready fast, and they have a smooth operation going. People love coming to just sit and work, study, socialize - and I see why. I just wish they were open a little later. The turkey club I had here for lunch recently was sooo good. The turkey and the bacon both tasted great on it. I would definitely come back just for that honestly. The ambiance inside was nice, love the look of the place. I'm deducting a star because the food took some time to come out and because the prices are a little high (but also I understand the prices are likely the consequence of being inside Serenbe lol). Adorable little restaurant with fabulous staff. The food is all fresh made and tastefully creative. Our party of 6 enjoyed all our meals. Highly recommended are the big blueberry pancakes, veggie melt with the best potato salad I've ever had. The daisy bowl, chicken salad sandwich, chicken pesto sandwich and breakfast burrito. If Serenbe's your modern day farm, sign me up! Seriously! I'm a sucker for fresh and locally grown food and this place serves it directly from their farm. After our hike on the property, we made a pit stop to Blue Eyed Daisy to fill up our tummies before we headed back to Atlanta. The farm is located in Palmetto, about 45 minutes south of downtown Atlanta, so not a far drive at all. Especially if you have some great tunes bumping in the car. At the time, I was returning back to a vegetarian diet (I'm vegan now.) and they had quite of few options to choose from like the Super Food Salad and the Rainbow Veggie Sandwich. And honestly that's what I liked most about this place. The soup of the day was vegetarian and I could count several items that geared towards that diet so Uno point for Blue Daisy! The descriptions of each sandwich made my mouth water so I had a tough time choosing but settled on the Veggie Belly Sandwich. Basically, it's loaded with veggies and topped with a garlic sauce served on freshly baked Focaccia bread. I wasn't passing that up. And to think, I was gonna break my diet that day and order the turkey sandwich. Final thoughts? The sandwich was bomb! The only thing I hate was the portion size for the price. Its not a full sandwich you'd get from Newk's or Panera. It's a half size. So yeah. And I got a double chocolate cookie for dessert. It was okay. Would I drive 45 minutes for another one? A huge possibility! Especially if I can get that Kale Slaw they served at the General Store. But I'd only come during the daytime. It's in rural area and it's not safe for a little lady like me to be driving at night. read more

I've been in Serenbe visiting family for the past week and have relied on BED for breakfast and lunch on multiple occasions now. Having been in the area a fair number of times throughout the past few years, I've always thought BED was alright, convenient first and foremost, but I've been particularly impressed with the new menu and food. Apparently they are under new management and it's worked out quite well. The breakfast options are reasonably priced and everything I've ordered has been satisfactory. Cold Brew was strong and fresh (big plus for me). The true standouts though have been the Cuban and Philly sandwiches at lunch, the portion and quality of each was truly awesome. Good Cuban sandwiches are generally rare in or around Atlanta and having made a point to try as many as possible, it came as a surprise when BED had one of the better ones I've tried in some time now. The bread and pork are the real keys and they didn't cut corners. The Philly is just big and good, if you are a Philly Cheesesteak fan, you will definitely enjoy this one. All in all, good on the new management, the past few meals from BED have probably been my best experience with food in Serenbe to date. read more

Hours of operation are terrible... especially if you show up during posted hours and they have door locked and half full cafe and won't let you in to buy a couple to go items(even when asked). Horrible customer service to have missed out on a decent sale to legitimize a hungry family w/kids... they operate like they are the only option, oh wait they are! read more

The soup didn't look or taste homemade. It was extra thick and not in a good way. It honestly tasted like it was made from a powder. The bread stick was extremely tough, almost stale. The Greek salad was next (4/5). The veggies were crisp and fresh. You honestly can't go wrong with a salad unless the dressing is nasty but their house made Greek dressing was delicious. It would've been better if the salad had been prepared with red onions instead of white and if the kalamata olives had been pitted. Last to arrive was the shrimp scampi (3/5). This time the dish seemed to lack the bold flavor that it usually has. I took a few bites and decided to take the rest to go so that it could be "doctored up" at home. If this had been my first visit to Frank's I definitely wouldn't be back but this must've been an "off" day as it's been delicious in the past. The service however was consistent, great as usual.

I was planning on eating at this restaurant until I seen what I saw . The owner is racist, he talked to the delivery guy this morning very disrespectful after he asked him to sign paperwork, he balled up the paper and threw it at him as if he was a dog , then I heard him tell the delivery driver he was a nobody , I got back in my car so hurt over how he was treating that delivery guy and he was really respectful towards him even after that . This place is filled with racist employees and a black manager that appeases by the taste of what she thinks others want to see while being served. If you check out their recent google reviews, you'll see what i mean. For $16, you can get a burger with either a bag of chips or a fruit. The same burger you can get at steak and shake for $4 with better sides! Don't get caught up on the "pretty look" of this place.
