My husband is a die hard Kobe Bryant fan and with his recent death, he has had a hard time saying goodbye. I went into 619 Underground Clothing, I saw Kobe in their display case. I bought 2 t-shirts for hubby which he LOVES.. The quality is excellent and the graphics are beautiful. But while in there I did some shopping for myself. I am busty and its hard to find t-shirts that fit properly for a woman, but not here, they have quite the selection. Nicole and Tony were awesome and helpful and super friendly It's centrally located in Parkway Plaza right across of McDonald's and close to the food court. Definitely they have a customer in me. They have custom artwork there, by local artists and can have the artwork done on canvas or t-shirts.. its awesome read more

I love this store! They have the best original and unique shirts ever. All repping local Dago stuff and native Indian too. Nikki is awesome and the owner is a cool guy too. Always go here when I'm looking for shirt no one else has. read more

Really cool little clothing shop stuck in the middle of plan ol' mall. This place has really cool designs, that yes, are, underground style, but nonetheless are cool. There is also a cool rack area where you can get US made shirts (black and white solid-color long sleeve and short sleeve) for super cheap ($8-10 each). Love the designs and the people are nice and are really great at customer service. If you are tired of going to the usual mall store, try this place out. At least you won't be worshiping the corporate gods. read more

I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses and promoting my city and they let me do both they have something for everyone ... The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and if they don't have a size or color of something at one store they have brought it over from the other store and had it the next day for me (( how's that for service )) .. My first review will be of the store I just visited this week. I'm from the north county coastal area so these shops are a little far for me, but well worth the drive! 619 Underground has a location at the Parkway Plaza mall in El Cajon and one in Plaza Bonita. The one in Plaza Bonita even has a tattoo shop in there. The artists there are pretty talented as I am a tattoo collector. I love these shops because they have a wide variety of styles and hard to find t shirts! I've been shopping here for 3 years and every time I come in all the employees are always very helpful. The owner, I believe, is Tony. He's usually at one location or the other and have had the honor of meeting him a few times. A real stand up dude that works with different brands to bring his costumes nothing but the best in skate, Moto X, hip hop gear! If only they opened up one in the north county, haha, but I would probably go broke! Highly recommend if you need to pick up some of the latest and greatest tshirts(men and women), hats, and accessories. read more

One of my favorite stores! Been to both locations and each time all the employees are extremely helpful and welcoming. The store is super chill and has sick clothing for both men and women for a good price. Since i live in chula, it is hard to find other stores that offer their type of clothing so its my first stop every time I go to Plaza Bonita. I'm not one to complain but I couldn't believe this place! I go here looking for a shirt that they didn't have, I asked if she knew if and when they would be getting more, she then replied,"I don't know." She didn't even look at the me or the shirt! Then I tell my brother lets go see if Left Coast Threads has it, the guy behind the counter (I think was the owner) when OFF!!! "What the hell?? Don't go there they are a bunch of f*****g morons, f*** them" and continued going off for a good 5 minutes. Competition, I get it but I think a "don't go there" or even not saying a word would have been fine. And I would probably come back to 619. I've heard of them doing this before but didn't believe it till now. So we leave and go to Left Coast Threads, they don't have the shirt either but this time we get told that they could order it for me or I should go check out 619 Underground!! They were sending me to their competition while 619 was bad mouthing them. I no longer shop at 619!! And told Left Coast to stop sending people over to 619. Left Coast Threads all the way!! There are 5 people that work at Left Coast and ALL of them are so nice and helpful, feels like I have known these people for years, and they have twice as many brands as 619, and they will price match! I personally think 619 acts like children in high school when it comes to Left Coast Threads! Grow up 619 and act like a mature business! They are no better then you, and you CERTAINLY aren't better then them! If you could put 0 stars on here I would!!! AWESOME JOB ONCE AGAIN LEFT COAST THREADS!! read more
