Go see Jesse Lind. He was incredibly responsive and had me from showings to lease signing within two days!

I recently had a great experience working with Rocco Losito at Coda. I am moving from across the…read morecountry and, like many out of towners, was skeptical of the value a broker can provide, but Rocco helped me navigate the deposit and application process for a very competitive apartment. He also accommodated a follow-up viewing so that I could take measurements, which I really appreciated (and he even brought me a tape measure since I forgot mine.) In the short period we worked together, he was responsive at all times and didn't mind me bugging him with small questions. I would be happy to work with Rocco again down the road and will recommend him to friends of mine looking to find a place in Brooklyn.

The best experience I've had with a real estate agency/broker in NYC. I contacted Pat through his…read morecompany instagram and he quickly responded and emailed me with several listings. We were able to schedule a viewing of three different apartments shortly after and my roommates and I found our dream home. Pat let us know when the apartment was going to be viewed again so we could put down a deposit and he held it for us for a month. The lease signing went smoothly even though Pat was unavailable due to a personal issue and had John finish the process with us. The only hitch was a miscommunication about the application fee which we thought was waived, but Pat rectified the issue by only having us pay half the fee.

My boyfriend and I found an apartment…read morein Williamsburg online that we wanted to view and we contacted Lelsey who was able to show the apartment the same day. We applied, got approved, and signed the lease in a span of about 48 hours. Finding an NYC apartment is always a hectic process and we're thankful we had Lesley to move everything along smoothly!

I met with Lesley a few months back to see an apartment. Despite a list of things I was looking…read morefor, Lesley took me to see a place that was completely off the mark (she told me later that was her first time seeing it). Lesley as a person is fine. Not too warm, not too cold. Her personality didn't really matter to me. I would have continued to check out her listings, but she didn't follow through with anything else. Luckily, I bagged a great apartment through a friend. I like the idea of supporting a local business which Ula's is (a mother/daughter operation). But unfortunately, there was just an absolute lack of professional follow through. I think it'd be great if brokers (Ula's and otherwise) would recognize that they are being paid for a service, and would actually work to earn my business. Instead, so often they just want to convince you a crappy apartment is gold, and sign on the dotted line. Oh, and honestly to Lesley. Nastily responding to someone else's post and giving yourself 5 stars undercuts your own professionalism, and only reinforces the previous bad reviews.

Avoid this place. In…read morethe 6 month span we spent here, we experienced: - a freezing cold room with no heating (windows were promised to be sealed but they sealed it in May, when the weather was starting to get hot) - frequently broken elevators (the coworking space is on the 6th floor so this was especially inconvenient) - frequently unavailable wifi - leaking roofs (the roof leaked on top of one of our employees) - extremely loud construction noises interrupting critical meetings / conferences - extremely cold A/C in all common areas (our team was constantly shivering) - an overheated room with no AC - frequently out of order bathrooms - weeks of no cleaning (even when regular vacuuming of rooms was guaranteed) ... the list really goes on. Plus the rents are at least $1000 more expensive than other great options in the area. It's a converted pencil factory, so it does have its charm, and we definitely would have been more forgiving if our concerns were dealt with. Not even speedily dealt with -- dealt with in general. Our concerns were constantly ignored. We are so disappointed.
