Short story is that we thought Bebe Sanchez was awesome and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an apartment in a second. She showed us a bunch of apartments across a range of prices (within our budget) and was responsive, flexible and a pleasure to work with. My girlfriend and I were in town trying to find an apartment so that we could move back to Brooklyn. A week or so before hand I emailed some agents online to ask about setting up some appointments to look at apartments they had listed. Most of the agents didn't responded and those that did told us that the apartment I was looking at was no longer available (and not because it was just rented but because the listing was out of date). Bebe responded very quickly and actually had up to date online listings. We set up a time to meet when we were in town and like I said above, we saw a bunch of really nice apartments. Bebe was very knowledgeable about the buildings, the neighborhood we were looking in (Greenpoint) and the rental process. We ended up choosing an apartment that she showed us and Bebe had the materials ready for us and sent to our email within a very short time. At the last second (you know how things go in NYC) we ended up taking another apartment in our old neighborhood by friends of ours but we would have gladly gone through Bebe otherwise. If we were ever to look for an apartment in that area again, the first thing we would do is call up Bebe and see what she had available. read more

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Native! I used streeteasy to find the apt I wound up getting, and Alicja was super helpful, quick and attentive in helping me lock it down! I had to travel that night, so was sending her lease application info piecemeal via an airplane, and she was very patient and so helpful in making sure everything was all set. She also made time in her busy schedule to let me back in to view/measure the apt a few times after I put my offer in. Alicja was stepping in for Anna, who happened to be out of town while I my application was accepted. I singed part of the lease wtih Alicja, and then when Anna got back- finished up signing and went with anna to meet the landlords. Anna was also AMAZING- such a nice lady, and pleasant experience. She was organized, calming and made sure that all my needs/expectations were met in regards to move-in date and apt status. It was awesome how she knew everyone in the neighborhood and had a real, genuine relationship with the landlords-- which was so comforting because a lot of these places say they know the landlords well and that they are good people, but you could tell that they were genuinely close and have a great relationship! Lena contacted me about an apartment I had listed on CL. I was attempting to help my elderly landlord rent out the apartment I was vacating. I didn't get much interest when she asked to help do it for us! Lena swooped in and took fantastic pictures, and typed up a well-worded advertisement. Almost immediately we had a hand full of potential Tennant's to choose from. She presented us with organized folders containing the vital information we needed I.e. credit reports, bank statements, background information, and past landlord reference letters! Ewa is amazing! She was very patient and listened to my needs and concerns. Normally driving around for hours looking at apartments is a nightmare, with her it was fun!
