I stood in line patiently for about 15 minutes -- no issue. When I finally got to the counter, I…read moreasked about windshield wipers and tires. Tires? Fine, they didn't have my size and said it would take three weeks. No problem there. But then Cody grabs the windshield wipers, scans them, and tells me they aren't in his inventory so he can't sell them. I understand policies -- that part wasn't the problem. What set me off was the complete lack of effort to fix the situation. No checking the back, no offering alternatives, no looking up another store, no "let me try something else." Just a flat, dismissive: "I can't sell them to you." That's it. The customer service at the Hampton (Mercury Boulevard) Pep Boys was absolutely disappointing. Cody made zero attempt to help or troubleshoot. I left feeling like my time was wasted and like my business didn't matter. Do better.

I had a scheduled appointment for 9:00 AM this morning. I was told that work was only just beginning at that time. (They didn't care to reach out and inform me of this gladly I didn't have nothing else to do... I'm afraid if I didn't call them, I would've never knew that my car was just beginning to get worked on) At approximately 4:00 PM, I called again and was advised that only one portion of the service had been completed. Later, around 5:00 PM, I received a call stating that the vehicle would require an additional 45 minutes of work. However, I never received a follow-up call to confirm that my vehicle was finished. When I arrived at the shop in an Uber, I noticed my vehicle already parked outside in the lot. Ultimately, I did not pick up my vehicle until 6:05 PM despite having dropped it off at 9:00 AM. Upon pickup, I was informed that I would still be required to pay the full price and that no manager was available at the time. I was advised that if I wished to request a discount or speak with a manager, I would need to wait until the following day.
