that right there shows me y'all didn't replace it properly. You are supposed to flush the system whenever replacing ac compressor because it can be contaminates or anything else in there. He did that and recharged it and my ac is working. Also, they gave me a new ac compressor which was only $500.. I don't know where you all were looking but new ac compressor's range from 400-1200. My whole point is he replaced my compressor like you all did difference is my ac is actually working now blowing out cold air.. not hot air semi cold it's cold air. read more

I would like to start off by saying I really hate to be this guy. But since I am not getting any Responses I had to go this Route. I was referred by my Coworker that absolutely SWORE by Team Eddies Auto Work. Said he had been serviced for the last 2 years never had any issues. So based off the recommendationI came in for the for a simple alignment Thursday 7/28/22. I recently hit a pot hole and needed an alignment. I believe the Mechanic was Mike. I had recently changed inner and outter tie rods and needed an Alignment. He charged me extra for the alignment because tie rods had given me which came out to 167.00 which I didn't have a problem with. Also he mentioned that the card system was down and could only take cash, cash app, or venmo as well. Told me it may take some for alignment to "adjust" and if I have any issues i could bring it back he'd make proper adjustments. As soon as I leave My steering wheel is several degrees to the Right. Extremely noticeable. I head into work at the oceanfront and my ASC turns on. I call him and tell him whats going on, he said it back he could take a look at it in the evening. He calls me back and stated he take his son home and could come by in the morning. Again you guys got great recommendation and I'll allow him to try and remedy the situation. Again you guys get great referals people swear by it, I'll give it another shot I come the next day missing hours from work and I'm THEN told camber needs to be adjusted on the alignment. None of this was MENTIONED AT ALL when completed the Alignment service the previous day. Not too mention after completion my ASC light was now which wasn't before service. I'm not a mechanic but It really doesn't make much sense for me get essentially one alignment service and not the other. This could've been told me before hand and i could've went to another shop to get the proper full service that could perform the Toe and camber alignment together. So he tells me he ordering a asc sensor amd to come back Saturday at 1 and he-'ll fix the sensor should take no more than 20 minutes top. He calls me and and say he has to get his truck that that someone tried to steal something out it amd had to drop his children off and he'll call me to meet at the shop. I am near the shop, It is now almost 4pm as I'm writing this review, on a saturday that I missing with time (whom i have on the weekends) my children because I am afraid to even have them in the car because I don't know what the hell is going on with my vehicle. I have called and Texted and i have no responsesc since this morning. Again I really not trying to be that guy, but we got to get some resolution on this. Enough is enough. Eddie, if your seeing this i'd love to have conversation with you cause I swear my Co worker vouched for you and your Business , even he was shocked at whats happened. I find it hard to believe this is how this run. We can try and figure it out I'd happily remove this review. If not i will be submitting BBB review and FB as well. I hate to be this guy but this has taken time away from my family and time from work. And just can't let that slide. read more

Broken promises -- beware!! So, I went off the Yelp reviews (and ignored the one negative, big mistake). I took my new (just purchased, used) car in on a Friday around Noon for detailing, this was a present for my daughter so I wanted it to be clean and ready for her college trip in a couple days. Eddie called me around 3:00 that day and said they were "mostly done," but could they keep it until Monday b/c he wants it to look "really great" and the extra time would help... sigh.. when I brought it in, I was told it'd be done by Friday COB. I was not happy with this,but relucantly agreed since it sounded like it would only be an hour or so on Monday for final details (WRONG!). So Monday rolls around, I'm expecting a call... nothing. I text at 10 a.m. inquiring status of my vehicle - NOTHING -- no call, nor text back. Now I'm steamed! I call at 11 a.m. and speak with a "new worker" named Andrew. He knows nothing about my vehicle, apologizes profusely and explains one of the employees (Mike, who took my info) apparently up and quit and the owner had a "family emergency" so he's left high and dry answering phones and putting out fires... this is not going well, to put it mildly. I ask him what time he expects to have my car done. He says "about 3:00" and "I'll try my best." WTF?? I don't wanna kill the messenger but my car has been there now 4 DAYS and I'm getting a squishy answer, seriously (!). I said, "You know what, never mind, I'll clean it myself. I'm coming in half an hour and need my car." I get there and of course the car is still filthy (maybe some light vacumming was done). I was prepared to pay $200 for an "excellent" detailing job, that clearly never transpired. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. I truly despise having my time wasted. I ended up detailing it myself (3 hours) and saved the money, and probably did a much better job. I would NOT NOT trust this shop one iota with anything. Their paperwork was sloppy when I went in (should've been a sign) and the shop itself was a mess.. appearances matter and that should've tipped me off. NEVER AGAIN. Honestly, i don't know how places like this stay in business. STAY AWAY and don't trust their promises, and customer service was horrific. Live and learn, take my advice. read more

Team Eddy got me in for a service of transmission fluid exchange the next day . I brought my own fluids with me and they did the work and did a fantastic job . Truck runs and shifts like new . I said I'd be back and I meant it. Once again Team Eddie has done a wonderful job!! Everyone is friendly and there is a mechanic expert for almost every vehicle, lifted, coils, air...you name it. I had a number of issues that built up overtime. I needed a new catalytic converter and gaskets, new vacuum pump, new left front axle and some other minor repaired. He fixed everything fast and at a good price. After fixing everything they told me about some minor issues they saw while making repairs. Team Eddie treats your car as if it's theirs.
