    Garden center

After eating a hearty lunch at Koku Ramen, we decided we needed to walk it off by visiting this garden center to look at planters - as we have some house plants that are rapidly growing out of their current vessels. Upon entering the interior shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of decorative pots plus the best selection of Jellycat plushies that I've ever seen! I'm a huge fan of Jellycat and can't believe that I found the best selection I've ever seen at a garden center of all places. I was so distracted by the variety that I didn't even get a picture of them. Anyway, I digress. Our purpose for visiting was strictly to look for planters and we were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, and directed us around the lot to the various sections explaining what was available. They have a large selection but they are quite expensive depending on the size. After looking at everything available both pots and plants, we decided not to purchase anything on this trip. But we'll happily return in the spring to check out what's new.

I've stopped in to Dennis' 7 Dees twice now and this is my new 'go to' place for plants! The employees are both knowledgeable and helpful. They even took extra time to help me think of a design for my space. I've even put a reminder on my calendar to stop back in September.

Needed a bonsai tree for a birthday present. They were helpful. Here's the little darling. Thanks.

This place made my day!!! It has all the plants you can name! This place is pure heaven for anyone who loves indoor plants! Definitely some unique finds that aren't easy to come by. Everything looked so healthy and beautiful, and the staff was very helpful with our questions. I will be coming back again and again!

! The stuff here is more expensive than what you'd find at a big box store, but it's much higher quality, and it's worth it in the long run

It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. We could not be happier! Not only was the selection and variety of trees fantastic, the professional advice we got from beginning to end of the process was on point and so helpful. From the initial visit being driven around the property on a golf cart to find the right tree, to the foreman's pre-planting visit, to the planting crew themselves, the entire experience was flawless. Everyone we encountered from BTT gave amazing service, had good humor, excellent communications, and took an above-and-beyond approach. Our new tree looks amazing and we are truly over the moon about it. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!

It was the first time that no one asked if we needed help or if we were looking for something. At one point we did need help but the busy workers just walked on by. I was purchasing several delphiniums and one was falling over. I was trying to find out if someone could find a stick or something to hold it up. The answer was no at least three times. We went to the register and paid and asked one more time. Still no. I then out of frustration walked back to the house plant department and found Julie working. She kindly left what she was doing to find a stick. By then Mike from trees and shrubs was helping too. They supported my beautiful plant and securely tied it. I said to them "thank goodness, I finally got the excellent AL's customer service I've come to expect". They told me they were the longest standing employees there. Thank you to both of you for taking a very frustrating situation and turning it around. I hope the family knows how lucky they are to have you.

(We had to cut off the original pot, as it was VERY root-bound.) When it began to die, I used the "contact us" form on Al's website to send photos and ask for advice. They never answered me. After 4 days, I phoned Al's, and the guy I spoke to was dismissive and obviously knew nothing. All he could say was "Well, we have had some hot days...." And then he told me if I dig it up and return it (in the pot it came in) I could get a refund or exchange BUT ONLY IF IT'S BEEN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. Because of their delay, it was more than 2 weeks by then. Customer service does not exist there. Not going back.

Well, due to some rent issues, they ended up in a shopping center off of NW Barnes. I happened upon it while killing time before a doctors appointment.
