I call them to check the status, I am put on hold and never to be heard from them. Sometimes I stay on hold for as long as 30 minutes and no one ever comes on the line, forcing me to visit the store. This time, I visited the store on 8/20/2026. I waited in the one line in the drive thru. Not sure why the second wasn't opened. I waited for 45 minutes. My prescription was not ready. Why? it was sent one week ago! I asked why and they said they missed it. Why does this happen every time? CVS will text me 10 minutes after the prescription is sent to tell me it is ready for pick up. Walgreens it is impossible to reach anyone. I asked them and they said their floor is too busy. Then get extra staff. Their line inside is no difference. Their service is terrible and miserable. I am never returning here again. This is the location in Centreville, VA.

Instead this has a laser precision high powered water wash which doesn't really clean thoroughly as I found out after I exited the wash. I paid the $12 wash which is the highest tier. Service is ok but inventory here is pretty decent compared to the other Walgreens I've been at. For snacks and beverages I have a good amount of options and they're usually fully stocked compared to other Walgreens locations. I saw the Walgreens…read morecorporate announcements stating that walk-ins and appointments would be available for anyone in an eligible category. A few hours later, I visited a local Walgreens and asked if they were currently taking walk-ins. The pharmacist said they were, if I was willing to wait for about 45 minutes to accommodate the current appointment times. I gave them my insurance card, vaccine card, and ID while I filled out some necessary paperwork. Once the paperwork side was done, I waited in one of the many chairs at the end of the aisles by the pharmacy. The customer flow at the pharmacy was pretty steady while I was there. It seemed most people were there for vaccines, either for the flu shot or for initial/second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Most customers did wear masks, although there were some who would only put them on when it was their turn to get a shot in the back area. All Walgreens employees were wearing masks, although one of the stockers had his around his chin and didn't even adjust it when talking to customers. The store seemed to be pretty clean and organized. When they called my name for the booster, the process was very easy. They verified my identity, administered the shot, and updated my vaccine card. I was able to leave with additional paperwork about possible side effects and the V-safe program updates. I would definitely consider returning for future vaccines.
