You also get teased intermittently with the phone ringing sound which gives you hope that they're going to pick up, but nope it just goes back to the hold music. If you're lucky you'll speak to a technician, if not you'll get a message that says there is a problem and you have to call back later. When you speak to a technician, they are rude and clearly hate their job and you for calling.

Today at this store I had the best experience with the lady working the Pharmacy Counter. She was amazingly personable and was such a pleasure to speak with. She reminded me to get my flu shot. But the difference here is the kindness, warmth, and dedication of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location. I was unexpectedly in SoBe for a few days due to weather-related flight delays and had run out of my prescription meds. My doctor called in my prescriptions, but some info was missing. The Walgreens pharmacist, Dr. Jorge, went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot - both in person and on the phone, calling my doctor's office multiple times, and filling the prescriptions 10 mins before the pharmacy closed last night, before I fly home today. Dr. Jorge did this while triaging a crush of other incoming customer requests. He took a personal interest in helping me, and I deeply appreciate his dedication. In addition, this Walgreens pharmacy is so busy that it feels almost like an ER. Yet as I stood in line, I watched the pharmacy technician greet each customer with warmth, listen carefully to concerns, and efficiently resolve issues. I was very impressed with her ability to stay even-keel and exude positive energy in the midst of such a busy practice. Highly recommend.
