I'm still confused by that one. We got pizza, chicken wingettes, & a pork chop. The pizza was a 3...the wingettes were a 3...& the pork chop was a 2. I guess we can't expect much from convenience store food. The stop served it's purpose. If we are in the area, we may stop here again for gas or snacks. We won't get good thought.

This gas station is right across from King's Dominion amusement park and there is a truck stop nearby. Normal stuff, but it seemed a bit sketchy here, so you may want to look for other options if you need to make a pit stop.

We use Flying J almost exclusively for our RV fueling and waste dumping needs and have enjoyed many good night sleeps in the RV quiet areas. While the Carmel Church pump out area was clean, very serviceable, and the windshield washing fluid buckets full I can only give this location two stars due to the obnoxious load speaker volume.

Yeah, I am a fan of convenient store with a gas station, especially I have gone to the competitor Wawa more often because of the location closest to my hotel. We came here during the day right after the busy morning commute hour on Monday. It was not crowded. I could see employees were preparing the lunchtime rush. He was buying some freshly baked pastries and they are only available at Sheetz. I am not much of a pastry person. So, I had a self-guided tour of the store while he shopped. I think I would like it next time when I visit Ashland. I couldn't tell the difference from Wawa, really.

The difference between cash and credit card is only 5 cents. Next door is TA Travel Center, just another gas station with competing prices but very hard to get to. That was why I came to Amoco. I just found out that Amoco is same brand with BP. I was driving a rental car anyway. I didn't have brand loyalty on rentals. But if I live in Richmond area, I would seek out Amoco on my route wherever I travel.
