Our server (Jessica) was pretty thorough. I see my server mentioned in my previous review was a Jessica too. Unsure if it's the same person, but certainly the same great service. Hubby and I ordered the following. Signature Pancake Plate - Delish! Fluffy! Plentiful. Seagram's Ginger Ale - Welp, it was a Ginger Ale. Strawberry Peach Lemonade - Very tasty! Not too sweet. Great flavor. U.S. Farm Raised Catfish - Deeelish. Fresh! Impossible Sausage - Very good! Almost couldn't tell it was meatless. As always, there were some pretty cool items on clearance in the lobby. Today I ordered the fireside beef dinner. This is a tasty meal served in heavy foil just as if it was cooked on an open fire. I found out that meal comes pre- portioned, explaining why I was shocked how the portion was a lot smaller than last season when this was offered. I ALWAYS have it. My sister had the chicken, still 1/2 chicken that's was perfectly seasoned. Our EXCELLENT server Zoey was extremely attentive, seeing and understanding my concern. She offered to make this right. Zoey brought the very nice manager over that did exactly that, made it right. The chicken is 3dollars less than the beef, and that's what was offered and I found it very fair. because the food was good!!!! Service was : waitress forgot to bring us water, did not know the menu if it comes with side or not or if it was greasy like cheese melting. No smile on staff's faces. Really uncomfortable Food was both for my partner and I - Extremely SALTY. Ambiance: many people. Full and packed. Many creepy pictures in black and white. Reminds me of the movie "  The others ". Roaring fireplace. No wait, Tuesday before Christmas at 11am. They were still doing breakfast. Breakfast menu is not large. The biscuit recipe has been redone and it taste so much better. Perfect with their gravy. They did not provide jam, but that was ok. Discovered you could get plain hash browns without the cheese, for an up charge. Which tastes better. Don't understand the plain sliced tomatoes as a side. Clean bathrooms. The next year calendars were on sale. read more

I have not been to a Cracker Barrel in at least 20 years so I wasn't sure what to expect. First off, the store is dangerous to my bank account! So many cute things, so much delicious looking food, and such fun decorations! I bought the most adorable little turkey outfit for my new niece to wear at our local Turkey Trot! On to the food- I decided to have the Momma's pancakes with peach topping and some cheese on my eggs. The eggs were fine- nothing crazy special. The pancakes though.... so GOOD! The peaches made it just above the top fabulous! The bacon was thick and crispy. Overall, I'd skip the eggs- nothing special, but the pancakes were absolutely fantastic! Fried, lard, too much salt (I'm on a low sodium diet). It's my once or twice a year indulgence that I really look forward to. Doesn't matter which one you go to, they're pretty consistent across the country. I enjoy the food the atmosphere and the prices are ok. Generally the wait staff is friendly and at rush hours,very overworked. There are some interesting,well priced items in the country store too. It's kind of like McDonald's or Pizza Hut, it's part of Americana. read more

I had such a pleasant time at this Cracker Barrel ! During a long drive I needed a good break and meal. I was greeted and seated in front of a cozy fireplace. The menu said they serve Breakfast all day which is awesome , but I went with the meatloaf dinner. I ordered the meatloaf and it came with 2 sides. The Mac and cheese and green beans were so yummy! I smothered the meatloaf in ketchup and it hit the spot! And I also got a biscuit and cornbread with little packets of butter, it was a perfect and cozy meal! Then I shopped at the store and got jewelry and frog decor for my garden. They have cool stuff and nostalgic candies and snacks. The staff and servers made me feel so happy and comfortable there , it was an all around great experience! read more

This particular location has restored my faith in CB. I haven't been in many years because it seemed like any location I visited the expectations just fell short, from staff to food. However, my husband convinced me to go and I'm glad he did. We were in VA for 2 weeks and we visited this location twice while there. The country ham was delicious! Definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch. They also have a "fruit stand" tea on the menu and it is so good. Not to mention they now service mimosas for those of you who like to do brunch. I've always been used to waiting a long time to be seated at pretty much any CB but the staff here are quick to clear tables and get you seated. We didn't have to wait any more than about 10 minutes either time we visited. read more

We stopped off for dinner on a road trip to Pennsylvania. This location is tucked back off of the exit. But, it is nice and quiet. When we walked in the hostess was not there which is rare. But, turns out they are having staffing problems too. So the hostess was a waiter and hostess. Honestly he did a wonderful job for the situation he was in. The food was good. No issues there. Portions were good and it came out nice and hot. Our kiddos mentioned that this place was better than the Cracker Barrel was better than ours back where we live. Bathrooms were clean and the shopping area was tight, but clean as well. This could be a good spot to stop for us when we leave around dinner time for our road trips to Pennsylvania. read more

I would say worst service we have ever experienced, except we received no service as a waitress walked by our table, poured coffee for another table, picked up dishes and then walked down the other aisle away from us. meanwhile a couple that was brought into the dining area by the hostess 8 to 10 minutes after us was seated and a few minutes later their server came to their table to get their drink orders. After waiting several more minutes we got up and left. This was on 4 APR 2025 at approximately 11AM. They were not particularly busy. We are locals and used to eat here a lot. The hash brown casserole was gummy, the pancake syrup in the bottle was thin like water as well as the grits being very watery as well. The servings are smaller and the prices just keep getting higher. I have just decided to not eat at restaurants anymore it is not a pleasant experience for my money anymore. read more

This was the spot on your way to South Carolina from New York. The service was great here and we came here twice (to and from) during our roadtrip. Stopped here for vrunch while traveling along I95. It was crowded as always, but we were seated immediately and our waitress Lisa came over immediately with flatware and to take our drink orders. Our entrees didn't take very long to arrive and everything was hot, including the plates. I had the French Toast and smoked sausages. The French Toast was really good ,but the smoked sausages were really just patty sausages and tasted as such even though the waitress said they were smoked. My wife had the fries catfish and really enjoyed it. The bill was very reasonable and it was a pleasant visit. read more

Cracker Barrel is a unique experience. Its hard to compare it to other restaurants- in my mind it stands on its own. Its really fast, yet not "fast food"? Very pleasant employees, the option for breakfast type food as well as an extensive dinner menu. If you happen to find yourself waiting you can buy an outfit, Christmas decorations and candy from your childhood, or a nice rocking chair .... Its hard to eat healthy- there are options, its just the bad choices might call (louder) to you ... The sweet tea is pretty perfect and the salad is simple but always crisp and fresh. read more

I've been to many Cracker Barrel in my travels. This was a better than average experience. The difference was the attitude of the employees. The lady that took me to my table was pleasant and conversational. As we were walking to the table she commented that she was seating me at a window table, gave me the name of my server, and did it all as a friend talking, not a robot spitting out required corporate speech. The same was true of my server. He was prompt and very polite in his conversation. My hamburger steak with hash brown casserole and grits was good. Good sized portion and flavor. read more

Review of my visit on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Greeter/ host didn't appear to be too enthusiastic. This Cracker Barrel appeared very clean and tidy. Typical Cracker Barrel in and out. I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in quite awhile. Glad I made the choice because my breakfast was great! My blueberry pancakes and sausage were off the top rope! Coffee was superb! My server/ waiter did a great job. He provided prompt service. Observed other staff happily tending to other customers, a very positive point! Plenty of parking at the time of my visit. Pay attention to the signs to this location. Exit 92 from I-95, it's tucked in close by the Holiday Inn/Suites. Follow signs for the restaurant. Worth the stop for country cookin' if I'm in the area again. read more

After driving from MD to Richmond, I decided to drop and have lunch since I was feeling a little sleepy...I think I-95 was trying to hypnotize me despite the super high volume of my radio! The doors have fall wreaths on them. So homey!! We entered the restaurant/country store and were immediately greeted by employees. There were so many things to look at in the store but we headed straight to the hostess stand. We placed our names on the list and were told that it would be a 15 minute wait. It was barely a ten minute wait and we were seated right away. Our drink orders were taken very quickly and we also placed our orders for food. Everything came out as requested. No errors! The food was hot, tasty, and filling. Although it was around noon (and busy with a lunch crowd) we ordered breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We always enjoy this location when we are traveling home. I enjoy Momma's pancakes breakfast because no where else can you get those light fluffy pancakes with the nice crispy edges. The syrup is served warm in individual serving bottles. I can't help but close my eyes after each bite. Breakfast is served all day if you want to see what the hype is all about. My other go to is the fried catfish, okra and corn. The catfish's breading is such a beautiful golden color that makes you want to instantly dive in but be careful because it is served right out the oil. The great food quality and excellent customer service provided by Ronnie anticipating our needs has us returning each time with confidence. read more
