Covid-19 phase: They have a great rewards program with your number. The store was clean. The workers had masks on and masks are required to go in. I got some cereal "l to go " and Replenish Zero drinks that were buy 1 get 1 free. Of course they have a bunch of stuff. All different foods, drinks and much more. Got what I wanted and checked out. The worker was very nice. Nice service and great store! Recommended!

Closed at 12:30 on a Saturday, with employees inside.

Closed in the middle of a Saturday. Sign in door says "closed for 20 minutes" - completely irrelevant information. Starting when?

The interior is definitely maximalist, with plenty of framed photographs, stickers for sale, little trinkets, and plants hanging all around. There is no space to sit inside - to be honest there's barely any space to wait for your drink - but they have plenty of outdoor seating to soak in the garden vibes while sipping on your drink. I ordered the matcha latte with marshmallow cold foam and lucky charms (this was their seasonal one for March), and I grabbed the mocha with marshmallow cold foam for my sister (another seasonal drink). The matcha was decent, but it wasn't until after I got my drink that I noticed they have an option to do "ceremonial matcha" for an extra charge. Personally, I wish they would just charge the extra and do all ceremonial matcha, but that's just me - I love my matcha. The woman who took my order was also very kind and patient and did a great job holding down the fort despite being the only employee inside. Definitely would come back!

They did have 3 tables outside with chairs. I did see a heater above some customers so there is some warmth out there in the cold. The girl working behind the counter was really kind. I'm usually a chai kind of gal and the snowflake chai sounded enticing. The snowflake chai reminded of Christmas in a cup. I could smell the cinnamon which I love and tasted the vanilla. My drink was a perfect cup to start my day. They also sell pastries from La Boulangerie. I picked up a cream cheese croissant and it was yummy.

The first time I…read morevisited, I was lucky enough to try the lasagna, which was rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. On my second visit, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs--and it did not disappoint. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, with a hearty, house-made sauce that tasted deeply authentic. The sauce had a beautiful balance of savory tomato flavor, herbs, and just the right amount of richness, as if it had been simmering all day. The meatballs were tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor, not dry or overly dense, but exactly what you hope for in classic Italian comfort food. Every bite felt homemade and satisfying, the kind of meal that reminds you of a family kitchen rather than a restaurant. Valentino's proves that size isn't everything; the small space is remarkably warm and inviting. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere perfectly mirrors the menu, allowing for a meal that feels unhurried. With its genuine family-run charm, the restaurant feels wonderfully authentic and approachable. Beyond the food, the experience at Valentino's is what truly sets it apart. It's a father-and-daughter business, and their pride shows in everything they do. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel more like a guest in their home than just a customer. If you're looking for authentic Italian food made with heart and tradition in Fresno, Valentino's is a must-try. I'll absolutely be back again.
