This at one time was a 5 Star Convenience Store!!! In the mornings, you would walk into the smell of fresh coffee, clean floors, and bakery items coming out fresh from the oven!! The soda and Slurppee machines were always clean, but now it's like you're in the Twilight Zone The staff has been cut down, so there are much longer wait times at the register, especially since this is a 7 Eleven NOW location!!! Cleanliness of the store used to be the standard now it always seems to be cluttered... I don't know what happened after the store was sold, but they need to get back to get this location back back to the Gem it once was.... read more

This is "My" 7-Eleven. I am here daily. The staff is fast and friendly. A second register is always opened when they can if a line starts to form. The soda machine is always clean and in proper working order. Bananas are always ripe which is really nice. I have another 7-Eleven the same walking distance in the opposite direction that I have gone to oncs because they have Diet Mtn Dew but it's gross and I never went back. Really wish my 7- Eleven would bring back at least just One of the following: Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Mtn Dew or Orange Mango Zero water (so addictive). This has to be one of the worst run, most incompetent 7-11 stores I have been in, but that's because I haven't been in any of the others in Glendale in a long time. There was no coffee in the urns yesterday, and today there was only one urn, and it was almost empty and the coffee was awful. The clerk was indifferent and didn't even bother to try to make fresh coffee. There are at least eight machines at this 7-11, and none of them are being used to make fresh coffee. This is important for many people who are in a hurry and want to get fresh coffee before starting their day. If there were a coffee shop within the same distance as this 7-11 I would go there instead and never bother with this place again. (Oh, and having to put in one star is being too nice, I would prefer to rate it no stars.) I miss the old crew; they were always helpful, competent, and we addressed each other by name. They keep deleting reviews off of Google. 3rd attempt, I have screenshots and have contacted corporate as well. Not sure why you keep deleting. We are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. We have a mask mandate yet one of their employees walks around the store all prideful without a mask. No one thinks you're cool dude, majority thinks you're a jackass. They don't enforce masks with the clients either and almost every time I have been in there, someone is coughing and/or sounds congested. I have taken a picture of said employee and have contacted the health department and appropriate authorities. I understand that asking people to wear a mask is a hassle but at least your employees should abide by the mandate. It's common sense. I also understand we're all tired of this pandemic/ masks etc. but out of decency and respect for others one should still wear one. read more

New management here sucks!!! This store got bought and the people that used to work here was very nice and takes care of the customers and the store. The new workers aren't doing suck a good job. The store smells and the hot dog buns are all old. They expect us to still eat them. Very ridiculous. I wish the new management could do something or train this people better. read more

Worst 7/11 in neighborhood after new lady start to work. No customer service at all. She even got throw my change on the counter. Im coming here for 7 years 3-4 times a week. Guys do something. 7-Eleven - from inside the car after buying a big water :-D - Convenience Stores Near Me - Glendale, California

Employees do not wear their Protective Gear properly. I am a frequent patron of 7-Eleven. I shop at the store at: 420 S Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205. They have a sign on the front door asking that customers wear face masks when shopping inside the store. I am happy to comply. As we know, wearing a face mask primarily protects others. I am a senior and am over 65. So, yes, I wear a mask and as far as my personal health goes, I am most interested in others wearing masks around me. Therefore, being around people who do not wear their masks correctly presents a health risk to me. And when they refuse to do it properly, I perceive their behavior as a threat. It seems that there are two employees of the store that do not wear their face masks properly. Both of them wear the mask covering the mouth but not their nose. One of these gentleman told me that he had a "nose condition" as the reason to not cover his nose and it was ok because there was a plastic shield between him and me. Since the virus primarily resides in the nose, this makes his wearing a mask rather pointless. When I pointed this out, my request was ignored. In actuality, he is more protected and I, less so. These employees represent 7-Eleven. So, what exactly is their store policy? Is it that buying public have to be completely covered and store employees don't have to be and are allowed to compromise on the wearing of protective gear? Since it is important to me that I look after my own health during this pandemic and the store policy is that employees can be lax on the use of proper protocols, I have to wonder what other protocols are they willing to compromise? I know that everyone is suffering from Quarantine Fatigue but I need to look after my own health, and what about others in my position? Is it 7-Eleven's policy to protect the employees and that the buying public matter less? Maybe it is just easier to shop at another 7-Eleven Store, one that cares enough about its customers to require their employees to wear their protective gear properly. read more
