This is the absolute worst pharmacy on the planet. Every single time I have to renew my Rx there's a problem. Every time! I usually go a week early because I KNOW there will be a problem and a I'll have to come back anyway. Anytime I've complained about this their response was well you knew it would be a problem so it's your fault to fix it. But THEY are the problem and they told me last time it was fixed. I've always had a good experience at this particular CVS and much of the reason for that can be attributed to an absolutely wonderful pharmacist, Sura Stephan. Sura is not only competent, friendly and polite but in special circumstances like one situation that I found myself in Sura moved heaven and earth to get a prescription approved by CVS's monitor systems that likely would have been problematic if not for her intervention. I hate this location. The staff is rude. I waited in the drive through for 30 minutes just for manager to tell me I had to park my car and come in... which I have never had to do before. My prescription was sent here by mistake, When I mentioned I never had to come in before, she held up her badge and said "I've been the manager since December." Around 10am this morning I went in for a prescription. There was a girl in the back that had her customers on speaker and we could hear everything. Zero privacy. Isn't that against the law? Treated like a criminal for trying to fill my kids adhd medication. This pharmacy made a mistake that made it look like I already had the medication but I didn't. Rather than look into it she said it was too early to fill and hung up. My kid was out of medication. Lots of kids take this medication. Not all their parents are cokes out drug heads. And now you can't even call and talk to someone at the pharmacy. read more

Attitude towards patients can improve. Alex was very rude and unprofessional. I am a pharmacist who also works for CVS and this isn't how you react when a patient tells you they haven't medication for over a month and being a diabetic. She just said he's not my patient bye. This is CVS, make an effort to actually help patients. She was more interested in doing other tasks then help me the patient in front of her. Miss Coco was such a nightmare! First, a few months ago, she tried to convince me that I don't have extra care when I clearly do. And today, she suddenly started screaming at a poor guy! She literally yelled, "GET OUT OF HERE!" for no reason. The poor guy was terrified, and so was the whole store. She yelled at him for several minutes until she realized it was the wrong person. The guy was so shaken, and she didn't even apologize. Then, I stood in the hair department for 15 minutes, and only after that did someone in the allergies department ask if I needed help. Guess what? Ms. Coco suddenly decided to ignore me and assist someone who had called for help after I did. When I approached her and asked why I had to wait despite asking for help first, she completely ignored me. She didn't even look at me or explain anything--she just brushed me off. Miss Coco, this is my nearest pharmacy, and I have no choice but to come here, but please start being more pleasant and professional. You might not have a choice but to deal with me. Thank you! I only come here to get tested for free for COVID. I've NEVER been inside. Lately, it has been taking longer to get an appointment, but you get the results sometimes within 24 hours which is great. Very easy to schedule for a test online. You get text reminders as to when your schedule is due. Sometimes the wait time in the drive thru takes too long. If you are late for your scheduled time, you can't proceed with the test. The last test time is 5:30, so go a little early before your due time. read more

RUN from this pharmacy. It's gone to hell over the last few months. This location fired two of their three pharmacists (a sign of a much bigger problem) and have temps filling in who don't know what they're doing. Expect your prescriptions to be screwed up beyond all imagination. I don't want anyone to go through what I did. Their pharmacist gave me a prescription with NO LABEL (doesn't list my name, dosing instructions, proof it was prescribed to me, etc.) Unbelievable! And that was after weeks of temp pharmacists mistakes, spending hours on the phone getting it fixed...only to end up with a box with no label. CVS Pharmacy's Glassell Park location at 4414 York Bl.is worth the short drive and their pharmacist may be the last CVS pharmacist who cares about his patients. They called me and asked "what I need". If they listen to the voice mail they would have known. The same thing happened again this week. They told me it would be ready the following day. The pharmacy staff is rude af at this location. They will cut you off mid-sentence. I know you're busy, but if you can't keep up with the workload while being courteous to your customers, maybe find a different line of work. And since when can you not ask if they have a medication in stock? "I can't tell you that bc it's a controlled medication." I have never been told that in the past. Why would I have my provider send a script here and not get it filled bc the location is out of stock? Instead of wasting my provider's time and my time, I'd rather them send the Rx to a location that actually has the meds. read more

The cashier (Joe) was very rude and unprofessional. He asked for a phone number to return the money and said that if you don't give your phone number, you have to get out of here and I can't refund. I have ALWaYS rated CVS VERY highly and have been using them since back when they were ECKERD DRUGS in Florida We have always filled our prescriptions with them along with anything else needed it used to be my favorite place to shop for anything We have used the minute clinic as well as vaccine services etc Now I avoid CVS AT ALL COSTS because of the rude, "management" (probably a liar) who would not let me use my 40% off coupon on a quart of milk The coupon said it could be used on ANY item and he insisted that milk was excluded Well guess what else is excluded, ALL future purchases I would have made (like the previous thousands spent over the MANY years) Good riddance!! read more

I have used several different CVS stores over the years. I moved and now go the one closest to me here in Glendale at Wilson & Central. After having an operation on my nose yesterday, I went there to pick up something my doctor recommended I get. After paying for my products, I forgot to take them with me. Call it absent-mindedness or having just had nose surgery. I also forgot to take my receipt. When I went back they didn't have them holding at checkout, but your CSR, Ana, was kind enough to take the time to find the receipt in your system and print it out so she could get the products for me. I needed a Covid vaccine booster, and this CVS Pharmacy location has the Pfizer vaccine I wanted. I went as a walk-in. The pharmacy manager did my injection himself. He's done other injections for me, and he's really good at it. I usually bruise, but I don't when he does it. Everyone at the pharmacy was friendly and I felt well cared for. Both times they promised to transfer and fill my prescriptions the next day since the pharmacies on the east coast were of course closed by this time.... Still hasn't happened. Wow! The Pharmacy manager lady is a complete..., well, let's just say "rude". I left a voicemail with my name, birthdate, and listing two prescriptions I'd like transferred TO their pharmacy. Very simple. She calls me asking for my son... so I tell her I left a voicemail with all of my info so she was calling for me... she interrupts and just says "hold on" not explaining anything and not allowing me to explain. She comes back on the line and asks if I am transferring to or from... and asking for my birthdate... was the voicemail too complicated??? I try to explain but she does not let me. She tells me "lower your voice and stop interrupting me". She asked me questions and I was trying to answer and explain. Wow! She can't comprehend a simple request and when I try to clarify she gets nasty and says "you can go somewhere else". I've never encountered such nastiness so I try again thinking maybe I did something really bad and try explain again. She interrupts and refers to an irrelevant duplicate prescription.., I simply wanted 2 prescriptions transferred to them. I told her "never mind I'm going somewhere else". One of the worst customer experience I have ever had. I'm hoping she gets fired so I can eventually go back to this CVS but not now... too painful. read more

Everything that's already been said about the pharmacy here is true. It's a complete nightmare. Be prepared to be told to wait and then never be acknowledged again. If you call, the new national corporate system only allows you to leave a callback number, but you will absolutely not get a call back. CVS pharmacies everywhere are seriously understaffed in general. read more
