Now we live over 30 minutes away and still try to find an excuse to justify driving that far just for our favorite coffee. That should tell you how good it is. We've come to learn that all of our favorite coffee shops are Italian. They just do coffee better. Nothing beats a shakerato, NOTHING. My husband and I came to grab a coffee here on Saturday and then we headed 5-ish minutes down the road to Home Depot. By the time he got back to the car, I had already finished my large coffee. I said "Hey, we have adult money, and we live far away, can we go through the drive thru and grab me another one?" And so, we did. My go to order is a large vanilla shakerato with espresso cream. It is glorious. It is beautiful. It really gives you the umph you need to get through the day. I've yet to try them, but everything in their pastry case looks fresh and delicious. The cafe is very warm and inviting. There are always people hanging around and chatting or working. This is just the epitome of cozy coffee shop. It's truly my favorite in Houston.

The baklava was sweet as it should be. The sweet syrup soaking the bottom of the nut and Pistachio crust was really light and tasty. The phyllo was very flaky and tasty. I ate in the shop so I got to enjoy the real ceramic mug, saucer, plate and metal flatware. Very nice touches to reward you for staying in the shop. The jazz music was a nice volume and pleasant. The staff was very nice. The barista suggested the latte and the other staff delivered the latte and pastry to me where I was seated. Also, a nice touch. Overall, excellent experience!

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.
