The atmosphere is Italian with some old photographs and tables with chairs both inside and outside that are far enough away that you could have a conversation without being overheard. Everyone in the Houston area should find a way to experience the beauty that is Minuti. My husband and I first discovered this location two years ago when we lived about 20 minutes away. Now we live over 30 minutes away and still try to find an excuse to justify driving that far just for our favorite coffee. That should tell you how good it is. We've come to learn that all of our favorite coffee shops are Italian. They just do coffee better. Nothing beats a shakerato, NOTHING. My husband and I came to grab a coffee here on Saturday and then we headed 5-ish minutes down the road to Home Depot. By the time he got back to the car, I had already finished my large coffee. I said "Hey, we have adult money, and we live far away, can we go through the drive thru and grab me another one?" And so, we did. My go to order is a large vanilla shakerato with espresso cream. It is glorious. It is beautiful. It really gives you the umph you need to get through the day. I've yet to try them, but everything in their pastry case looks fresh and delicious. The cafe is very warm and inviting. There are always people hanging around and chatting or working. This is just the epitome of cozy coffee shop. It's truly my favorite in Houston. read more

My, my, my, this is by far the sexiest cup of coffee and shop I've ever been inside. I mean sexy! I felt like I was walking the streets of Paris and Singapore all at once. The walls screamed with bright, bold colors; the tables were small and intimate. Y'all, the beautiful, eccentric, artistic grown-up people come here. Y'all, even the staff was gorgeous and mysterious! Okay, the coffee was good and had that nutty taste; it was brewed to perfection! The pastries selection is unbelievable, and they served breakfast and lunch! Oh, they have a nice outside area in front with beautiful stained windows. (Sexy) What more can you ask for? I must repeat: the coffee is good, they serve more than just coffee and pastries, the people and staff are gorgeous, and this place is sexy as hell! The aromas that greet you at the door are just an appetizer to the delights you'll enjoy. Medium decaf flat white with heavy cream. And the bakery case's dark chocolate coconut cake has caught my eye. Very Italian feel to the decor- dark woods, reds and blacks. It's chic. Came here after grabbing some gas, I've always seen it in the Kroger parking lot. Was craving some coffee so decided to give it a go and try them, and I am very happy that I did! Came here for the first time this morning right at open , wasn't expecting anything crazy im pretty simple but the reviews did lure me in. went by the drive thru and ordered regular black coffee and a fruit cup. when i got home 5 minutes later half the grapes had mold on them. and the pineapple had multiple brown rotted spots everywhere. DO NOT COME HERE. ive worked in kitchens my whole life up until recently. if this place and their employees cant even have the decency to re-stock and label REGULAR fruit , i wonder how many other off ingredients they are serving. im definitely not drinking the coffee if they cant even serve packaged fruit right. read more

This is the 2nd Minuti Coffee we have gone to. However, if it would have been based on Minuti on Hwy 6 near Marshalls, we wouldn't have gone back. (See that location's review). This locations ambience is welcoming. I can't wait for the weather to cooperate to try out the patio. Even their drive thru is appealing. Oh, yes, the Italian coffee is OUTSTANDING! We get Americanos (did I spell that correctly) and let me tell you it's piping hot, just the way I love it, tasty and ...a hummingbird has nothing on me when I'm done! Baristas were friendly & helpful. The location is out of the way however that will not stop us. By the way, their signing at tables for 4 were friendly and not at all offensive like 1960 location. read more

I am so glad I did. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato with oat milk. Forgive me it is my go to coffee drink. There was nothing syrupy or artificial about it. It was simply delicious and what I needed. We are so use to constantly being on the go and when you walk in here you are automatically catapulted into a different kind of vibe. My first time at Minuti Coffee and was really impressed by the coffee, ice cream and the ambience of the small coffee shop. I love coffee and usually have a cup every morning, but I had to fast for my doctor's appointment. So my first stop after my doctor's appointment I went to grab coffee and my mother ordered the mango geltao. Coffee was good but a bit sweet for me. My mother ordered the mango geltao, it was good but she said she would get a different flavor next time. It was a nice relaxing shop, soft music and very cozy. Then someone else came ups and said it was a temporarily issue for today only. They claimed they were converting the system and it was not available. That is something they should have planned for. I've been to a number of Minuti locations in Houston and this is by far my favorite. I'm not just saying that because it happens to be the closest to me either. When this location was preparing to open, I noticed that they were going to have a drive thru. Yay! My most frequented locations (at that time) were the locations on Westheimer (Fondren & Fountain View) and neither have a drive-thru. It's not the biggest deal, but it's a nice thing to have if I have my pup in tow and want my Italian coffee. Often times, if I have my dog with me, I'll go through the drive-thru, order and they will bring my coffee + pup cup out to me in the patio. They're always so friendly and offer a puppaccino for Teddy. I highly recommend this location and overall, this coffee brand! Delicious, Italian coffee. read more

The pistachio muffin is a top seller. If you're feeling adventurous ask for their cold brew Arnold Palmer (a secret menu item). It's cold brew mixed with Arnold Palmer and cane sugar (if you want it extra sweet). Literally perfect for a hot texas day. The inside was very clean. The outdoor space was updated. That's not how you make a macchiato, so I repeated, two shots and a little foam Sure enough, 2 minutes later he brings me a latte. I had to point him to the menu to make it clear... "Oh DOPPIO macchiato!" The did bring me the right order, but didn't apologize or refund the difference. Don't want to make a big deal out of the experience, but the reason I came in was to take a break from my demanding clients and be the one receiving service for 3 minutes. GREAT - great coffee, great service, great options, great atmosphere. This isn't a come work here for the day place - but a come have a GREAT coffee experience place. Staff is both courteous and professional. They will be as chatty or as efficient - as you initiate. Sometimes I want to chat and try something new and others I just want my dang coffee as fast as possible. They always seem able to tell which mood I am in ;-). I take a few minutes each morning to relax and enjoy a great coffee, in a ceramic mug and comfortable setting, as I prepare for the onslaught of the day. You get those few minutes here. The GREAT experience keeps me coming back, whenever I am in town. I appreciate the outdoor front patio - for the couple minutes of tolerable Houston summer temperatures. For the rest of the time - their indoor AC is very effective. The do a Cuban coffee very well - so give it a try. I haven't had any of the foods there, my opinions only count to coffee. The scones were fresh out of the oven when we arrived and they were definitely as good as they smelled - apple cinnamon.
