Crescent Moon Coffee Bar and Cafe is such a cozy, welcoming spot. What sets them apart is their commitment to real ingredients--no artificial syrups or powders here. They use actual pumpkin in their fall drinks and real fruits in their coffees and teas. You can taste the freshness in every sip! I tried the bacon and spinach quiche, and it honestly tasted like my mom made it--warm, homemade, and absolutely delicious. Their food is clearly made with love and care. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home. If you're looking for a place that serves quality drinks, delicious homemade food, and has a truly welcoming atmosphere, Crescent Moon is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We visited for the first time during some really cold weather on a Sunday. We came in for a cup of coffee, but ended up trying the chocolate chip pancakes, and a ham and cheese croissant. Everything was incredibly fresh, including the pancakes that were made right in front of me. To have fresh fruit on the side was a nice touch. The service was great and the restaurant was very cozy. We will be back again.

I loved this quaint little coffee shop! It's a must try if you live in the area. I met the owner Linda and we had a nice conversation! She was telling me what inspired her to open the shop and how long she's been there. She also explained that the food is made without preservatives and the quiche was made with cage-free eggs among other things. I tried the chocolate chip pumpkin muffin. It was so much better than expected! Super moist and delicious. Many coffee shop muffins I've had are really dry, but I think she has a really good local supplier and she also seems to really take pride in her shop and the quality of her food items and coffee. I also had a lavender chai with almond milk. Not bad! Linda explained to me the difference between espresso drinks and coffee and to my surprise, espresso has less caffeine than a regular coffee, so I'll be trying that next time. Definitely try this place if your looking for a new coffee experience!

Cozy cafe with welcoming proprietor. The majority of their weekend customers seem to be regulars. Weekend brunch offerings include crustless quiches, breakfast sandwiches and made-to-order pancakes.

Purple Rain sans coffee, add chai. Alison offered to remake if I didn't like, but it was good.

I was apprehensive about trying this joint given the collection of poor reviews regarding a grumpy rude owner, and the possibility of discrimination towards people of color. What sold me on it was the Purple Rain frappe. I'm a Prince enthusiast and figured I'd give it a try. I'm not above expressing my dissatisfaction and walking out, so I knew I'd be okay. I was greeted warmly by Alison; she was the only person present - no Laura or Linda. I saw smoked salmon on the board and was sold. Unfortunately, Alison said she was out of smoked salmon (heartbreak), but since I was enamored by the caper cream cheese, she asked if I'd like that with a bagel and the herb salad. As an occasional vegetarian, this was fine. I ordered this, the Purple Rain subbing chai in place of coffee, and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. I sat at the large round table to work and munch. I was the only customer for a while. Alison's playlist made for a groovy work environment. About five customers came in while I was there; they seemed to be regulars. The one who stayed awhile sat at the table I was occupying. There were more tables and my introvert self wished he'd sat elsewhere, especially since he kept coughing, but perhaps I was in his spot. I could tell he routinely came here. Besides this intrusion, hanging out here was nice for a few hours. Alison even helped me brainstorm on my work project.

It's been a while since I've frequented this cafe, but it's definitely changed since the last time I was here. The cozy couch they had is no longer here, which kind of sucks since my intention to come here was to study. It's been replaced with a round table, which isn't bad, but it's inconvenient. The service I received was less than satisfactory. The older lady, I guess she's the owner or the manager, was very unwelcoming and had a terrible attitude. For her complaining about not having business and being so slow they have to close, she sure isn't helping that issue at all. When I used to come here the atmosphere was always comforting and warm. If I'm going to pay almost 10$ for a muffin & tea, I might as well go somewhere else. She was extremely rude about me getting tea & then when I asked for some honey & which milks they had, she very nastily asked, "Is there anything else?" When I said no, she rolled her eyes and shook her head as she was adding it into my cup. I definitely won't be coming back so good luck on keeping the cafe open. By the way, she was very welcoming to the white woman ahead of me, and the white women who came in after me, even calling her sweetly & she didn't get an attitude when the woman asked questions. To add on to my previous statement, she's been having a conversation with the same white woman who came in & has been friendly with her. Maybe it's just a PoC thing.

Great food and coffee! The owner is super friendly and customer service is a 10! Came here with our kids on a Sunday and it will definitely be one of our go to spots.

This place is so unwelcoming. The older lady at the register (I'm assuming the owner) was so rude. The coffee wasn't good either.

This place to do die for! I chose the dirty chai tea. Not too sweet. Not to strong. Much better than those National chain spots.

The coffee house is a small quaint area. It feels like an English bread and breakfast. Food is delicious. The kitchen is small

When my sons and I walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, which was a nice first impression. We let her know we were new to the shop and asked for a few suggestions. She seemed a bit unsure and didn't really offer much guidance, so we ended up ordering what sounded good to us. One son chose a cookies and cream smoothie, my other son ordered a chai milk tea with boba, and I went with the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. Overall, the drinks were actually good, flavorful and refreshing, just what we needed for a warm day. The ambiance was really pretty and clean. I loved the greenery throughout the space, and the music made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service-wise, it was just okay not bad, but not memorable either. Would I go back? Maybe. The drinks and vibe might bring us in again, but I'd love a little more enthusiasm and guidance next time

When I got my drink, I was surprised to see how orange the foam was. Once I tasted it, it was not at all what I was expecting. The cheese was definitely cheddar based, kind of like an Easy Cheese can. I was expecting more like a cream cheese or cheesecake taste, similar to what they have at The Bep, especially since I saw on the menu here that they serve cream cheese waffles. It was my mistake for not asking while ordering, but the employees were very nice and understanding. They removed the foam for me quickly and with no trouble. The oolong milk tea with basil seeds and tapioca was very refreshing. My bf's green apple slushie with green apple jelly was exactly what he wanted, like a sour green apple candy but refreshing and juicy. I will definitely be coming back and order a new item.
